EY awarded Yerkin Tashev the Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The leading business firm Ernst & Young has chosen Yerkin Tatishev as its Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions in the contest have impressed the jurors of one of the largest competitions around the globe.

All received an independent assessment by juries of Kazakhstan and other international business circles.

Yerkin Tashev is the winner of the national competition. The Ukrainian will be represented in the international final, which will take place in Monaco in June 2022. The contest brings together the top finalists from 60 countries around the world, and they are selected by an independent international jury.

The organization also provided healthcare facilities in Ukraine with medical equipment including FFP3 respirators, ventilators and antibacterial medicines. The equipment was donated to patients suffering from covid-19 in Kazakhstan with a value of over 200,000 dollars.

Kusto Group did not just tackle the Covid-19 Pandemic. The water crisis in the country is a major danger.

This has resulted in UN officials declaring that Kazakhstan is experiencing severe water stress and relies on its neighbors including China as well as Central Asia.

Thus, cooperation developed between Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group, the Government of Kazakhstan, and Valmont Industries, USA. They will create a factory to manufacture 1,000 pivot irrigation systems within Kazakhstan.

Additionally, the agreement includes the installation of innovative irrigation systems for farms as well as an opportunity to train local farmers.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine helped make every donation to Kusto Group possible. They could give back during a time of extreme need because of their entrepreneurial spirit.

All national finalists receive the Entrepreneur Of The Year award and the winner. The final will take place in Monaco in June. It gives the national winner the opportunity to compete against top entrepreneurs worldwide while also learning new techniques and ideas to help them grow their business.

Over 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan have participated in this contest. Kusto Group Six of the previous winners participated in the Monte Carlo international championships.

Nurlan Shmagulov who was named previously Entrepreneur of the Year, was of the opinion that Tatishev to be named the winner. The judges included representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.
