Fall Prevention & Health - Man Down Alarm System
Falls remain the number one cause of fatalities at work, with a large proportion of these occurring in workplaces that have no proper fall protection. Employers are legally obliged to minimise these risks and offer assistance to anyone who falls, including lone workers.
Man down alarms are designed to notify a monitoring team if an employee has fallen or is injured whilst working at height. These systems typically use an accelerometer or Man Down sensor to detect changes in position, lack of movement or sudden impact.
