This position supports the Broker and Employer Small Business Group/Medical, Ancillary (Dental and Vision) and Financial Protection (Life and A&D Insurance). You will need to be able to navigate through multiple platforms and databases (ex. Prime, Cirrus, BRMS, ACET, E-services and United E-services) and answer up to 30 to 60 incoming calls per day. You will also be answering all incoming employer and broker Billing and Eligibility phone calls for small groups on both HMO and PPO platforms and serve as the primary customer interface for departmental inquiries. You will respond to incoming customer service requests, both verbal and written, to ensure quality customer service for internal and external customers. Some of the requests you will be handling are around billing questions, eligibility verification, enrollment and renewal questions. You will need to articulate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to collaborate with other internal partners to resolve issues. This position will require you to work at your desk, independently and without interruptions, while being able to multitask. During the day, you will have a scheduled 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks throughout your assigned shift (breaks are assigned by Adherence).
