NAGISA'S POV
I told her... I would be with her... forever...

"Kayano! Are you okay?" I shook her. She opened her eyes slowly. She replied with her weak voice, "Mmhm... I'm fine..." She closed her eyes slowly. "KAYANO!" "Sorry..." She said slightly smiling. Karma walked in. "She's dying. You're not helping." He said rolling his eyes looking away. I shook my head. "No! She can't fucking die!" I shouted at him. Kayano held my hand close to her chest. "I will eventually...I...can't believe I'm dying... when I'm in middle school... too..."

I tapped my pencil repeatedly in class, worried about Kayano. Korosensei realized, but he didn't comment about it. At the end of the day, I walked home by himself to see Kayano. Once I got there, I realized the whole class was surrounding her. Korosensei looked at me. "...She's dead."

"WHAT??? KAYANO DIED FRICKEN DIED?!?" I ran pushed everyone. "oUT OF THE WAY." Korosensei shot a sympathetic look at him. "nO NO NO NO PLEASE" I said with trembling with fear. Korosensei motioned for everyone to get out of the room to talk to me. "Nagisa-kun." Nagisa turned to Korosensei. "H-huh?" He said with tears streaming down his face. "Kaede Kayano. She was a pleasure to have in my class..." He said trailing off.

KOROSENSEI'S POV
"...Nurufufu... she reminds me a lot of her sister." I said patting Nagisa on the head. "She's in our hearts right?" Nagisa looked slightly better. "...Yeah..." He sniffled touching Kayano's hand. It kind of reminded me of...

"...Go teach those children. They're just like you... They are lost in the dark..." I remember it like it was yesterday. Aguri... "I know you'll be.... with these hands..... A splendid........ teacher....." And she let go of my hand.

NAGISA'S POV
Korosensei walked off. "Ah... yes. Kayano. It was nice to be with you." He muttered slowly walking out. After a few hours, Karma randomly walked in. "Still mourning over Kayano-chan's body?" He said going next to me. I looked at him. "...Apparently..." I replied still touching Kayano's cold hand. Karma looked at Kayano then at me. He sighed grabbing a chair. He sat down next to me.

KAEDE'S POV
I think.... I'm alive... but.... I'm not.... I can't move... see... but...I can hear Nagisa crying... I want to be with him I want to tell him I'm here..... and everything's okay... but it's not.... I...

NAGISA'S POV
I stood at the edge of the cliff. Karma ran after me. I looked down. "Karma. Did you ever want to kill yourself?" I said staring at the bottom. Karma thought for a second. "Yup." I kept staring down. "If it's to be with Kayano..." I slowly walked towards the edge. "Then be it." "NAGISA?!?!?"

I woke up. "Am... I alive still?" "You need to be alive for me." I looked up. "KAYANO? WAS THAT YOU? KAYANO?" I shouted out. Karma ran down when this happened. "Nagisa! You're still alive!" He said panting. I nodded, confused. "I think... I heard Kayano..." Karma tilted his head. "Didn't she die?" I shook my head. "I think... she's still there for me..." I said clenching my fist. "I..." I said as I looked into the skies. "I found the path to her. It's so clear... but... so unfinished..." Karma looked at me confidently. I smiled at him.
"I'll finish that path."
