30%, 4.46%, 1.79%, 1.84%, 0.26%, 1.23% and 0.35% are evidences its possibility of development towards potential optical sensor applications. Flexible white light-emitting sheets were fabricated from the CQD, illuminates uniform brightness, and has good color reproducibility and higher stability under various UV light excitation.A novel K-resistant Fe3+ and Zr4+ co-doped CeTiOx catalyst was first prepared by co-precipitation method for the ammonia-selective catalytic reduction (NH3-SCR) of NOx. On the premise of retaining the outstanding catalytic activity of CeTiOx catalyst, Fe3+ and Zr4+ co-doping efficiently improves its K-resistance with superior NOx conversion up to 84% after K-poisoning. Specially, the grain growth during the second calcination after K poisoning is successfully inhibited by Fe3+ and Zr4+ co-doping. Consequently, the large specific surface area with increased acid sites and efficiently retained reducibility over K-poisoned FeZrCeTiOx catalyst are realized, which prompt NH3 activation and NO oxidation, further benefit NH3-SCR. Besides, NH3-SCR reaction over CeTiOx and FeZrCeTiOx catalysts follows a possible L-H mechanism, and K-poisoning makes no change to it. Finally, a reasonable anti-K poisoning mechanism of FeZrCeTiOx catalyst is proposed the excellent K-resistance is attributed to part of Fe and Zr are sacrificed to form Fe-O-K and Zr-O-K species protecting the active site Ce-O-Ti from K-poisoning, as well as the additional reducibility and surface acidity brought from Fe-O species with Zr prompting its uniform distribution.Microplastics (MPs) are emerging pollutants that act as a carrier of toxic pollutants, release toxic substances, and aggregate in biota. The adsorption behavior of MPs has recently become a research hot spot. The objective of this study was to summarize the main mechanisms by which MPs adsorb organic pollutants, introduce some mathematical models commonly used to study the adsorption behavior of MPs, and discuss the factors affecting the adsorption capacity from three perspectives, i.e., the properties of MPs and organic pollutants, and environmental factors. Adsorption kinetics and isothermal adsorption models are commonly used to study the adsorption of organic pollutants on MPs. We observed that hydrophobic interaction is the most common mechanism by which MPs adsorb organic pollutants, and also reportedly controls the portion of organic pollutants. Additionally, electrostatic interaction and other non-covalent forces, such as hydrogen bonds, halogen bonds, and π-π interactions, are also mechanisms of organic pollutant adsorption on MPs. The particle size, specific surface area, aging degree, crystallinity, and polarity of MPs, and organic pollutant properties (hydrophobicity and dissociated forms) are key factors affecting adsorption capacity. Changes in the pH, temperature, and ionic strength also affect the adsorption capacity. Current research on the adsorption behavior of MPs has mainly been conducted in laboratories, and in-depth studies on the adsorption mechanism and influencing factors are limited. Therefore, studies on the adsorption behavior of MPs in the environment are required, and this study will contribute to a better understanding of this topic.1,4-Dioxane (dioxane), an emerging groundwater contaminant, is frequently detected in landfill leachates with its structural analog, tetrahydrofuran (THF). Along with undesirable leakage of landfill leachates, dioxane and THF inevitably percolate into groundwater leading to a broader region of contamination. Cometabolic bioremediation is an effective approach to manage commingled THF and dioxane pollution. In this study, a newly isolated bacterium Arthrobacter sp. WN18 is able to co-oxidize dioxane with THF as the primary substrate. Meanwhile, the THF-induced thmADBC gene cluster was responsible for the dioxane degradation rate indicating THF monooxygenase is the essential enzyme that initializing α-hydroxylation of THF and dioxane. Further, γ-butyrolactone and HEAA were characterized as the key metabolites of THF and dioxane, respectively. In addition, WN18 can tolerate the inhibition of trichloroethylene (5.0 mg/L) as a representative of co-existing leachate constituent, and sustain its activity at various pH (5-11), temperatures (15-42 °C), and salinities (up to 4%, as NaCl wt). Like other Arthrobacter species, WN18 also exhibited the capability of fixing nitrogen. All this evidence indicates the feasibility and advantage of WN18 as a thmADBC-catalyzed inoculator to bioremediate co-contamination of THF and dioxane.Ig-GAD2, an antigen-specific immune modulator, requires bone marrow (BM) cell transfer in order to restore beta (β)-cell formation and induce recovery from established type 1 diabetes (T1D). The BM cells provide endothelial precursor cells (EPCs) that give rise to islet resident endothelial cells (ECs). This study shows that, during development of T1D, the immune attack causes collateral damage to the islet vascular network. The EPC-derived ECs repair and restore islet blood vessel integrity. In addition, β-cell genetic tracing indicates that the newly formed β-cells originate from residual β-cells that escaped the immune attack and, unexpectedly, from β-cell precursors. This indicates that the rejuvenated islet microenvironment invigorates formation of new β-cells not only from residual β-cells but also from precursor cells. This is twofold significant from the perspective of precursor cells as a safe reserve for restoration of β-cell mass and its promise for therapy of T1D long after diagnosis. The purpose of this study was to assess the risk factors for clozapine-induced central nervous system (CNS) abnormalities (i.e., electroencephalogram [EEG] abnormalities, myoclonus, and seizures). We retrospectively analyzed data from 106 patients with schizophrenia who received clozapine treatment through our hospital. A review of the EEG recordings showed that 71 of these patients (67.0 %) developed CNS abnormalities after initiating clozapine treatment. EEG abnormalities, myoclonus, and seizures occurred in 53.8 %, 38.7 %, and 8.5 % of the patients, respectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors for clozapine-induced CNS abnormalities were concomitant lithium usage (odds ratio, 4.560; 95 % confidence interval, 1.750-11.900) and shorter illness durations before clozapine initiation (odds ratio, 0.796; 95 % confidence interval, 0.649-0.976). However, plasma clozapine levels and the usage of antiepileptics did not exhibit associations with the risks of CNS abnormalities. Clinicians should monitor their patients for incident CNS abnormalities when administering lithium in combination with clozapine regardless of plasma clozapine levels or the usage of antiepileptics. This is especially true for patients with short illness durations.
Recently, the availability and usefulness of mobile self-help mental health applications have increased, but few applications deal with COVID-19-related psychological problems. This study explored the intervention efficacy of a mobile application on addressing psychological problems related to COVID-19.

A longitudinal control trial involving 129 Chinese participants with depression symptoms was conducted through the mobile application "Care for Your Mental Health and Sleep during COVID-19" (CMSC) based on WeChat. Participants were divided into two groups mobile internet cognitive behavioral therapy (MiCBT) and wait-list. The primary outcome was improvement in depression symptoms. Secondary outcomes included improvement in anxiety and insomnia. The MiCBT group received three self-help CBT intervention sessions in one week via CMSC.

The MiCBT group showed significant improvement in depression and insomnia (allP < 0.05) compared with the wait-list group. Although both groups showed significant improvement in anxiety at the intervention's end, compared with the wait-list group, the MiCBT group had no significant advantage. Correlation analysis showed that improvement in depression and anxiety had a significant positive association with education level. Changes in insomnia were significantly negatively correlated with anxiety of COVID-19 at the baseline. CMSC was considered helpful (n=68, 81.9 %) and enjoyable (n=54, 65.9 %) in relieving depression and insomnia during the COVID-19 outbreak.

CMSC is verified to be effective and convenient for improving COVID-19-related depression and insomnia symptoms. A large study with sufficient evidence is required to determine its continuous effect on reducing mental health problems during the pandemic.

A total of 103 MG patients participated in this study, and their clinical factors, medication regimens, C0 values and CYP3A5*3 polymorphisms were collected in detail. We used a linear mixed model to analyze the effect of multiple factors on the dosage-weighted C0 (C0D) and performed subgroup analyses to investigate the consistency of correlations between influencing factors and the C0D ratios. Among all factors, CYP3A5*3 polymorphism and age showed a strong positive correlation with C0D ratios. The C0D ratios (ng/ml·mg-1) were higher for CYP3A5*3/*3 than for CYP3A5*1 (mean difference 1.038, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.820-1.256, P-value less then 0.001), and for age in the range of 45-64 and ≥ 65 years than for age less then 45 years (mean difference [95% CI] and P-value 0.531[0.257-0.805] and P-value less then 0.001, 0.703 [0.377-1.029] and P-value less then 0.001, respectively). The C0D ratios were not related to corticosteroid dosage, body weight, sex, hematocrit or the concomitant use of calcium channel blockers. The consistencies of the correlations between C0D ratios and CYP3A5*3 polymorphism or age were confirmed by subgroup analyses. Thus, CYP3A5*3 polymorphism and age should be considered in optimizing the initial dose of tacrolimus for MG treatment.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the qualitative and quantitative contribution of Emergency Medicine (EM) journals to scientific literature on COVID-19 and compare the journals in terms of publications.
