The GBS subtypes suggested by electrophysiological results were acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (AIDP), acute motor axonal neuropathy (AMAN), and Miller Fisher syndrome (MFS). The protein level of CSF in patients with GBS related to ICIs was 180.68 ± 152.51 mg/dl. Immediate termination of ICIs followed by intravenous immunoglobulin was the preferred treatment option. 72.7% of patients recovered or had residual mild dysfunction after treatment. Elderly male patients with melanoma were most likely to develop ICI-related GBS. In this study, we aimed to explore the sociodemographic factors contributing to health insurance ownership among women in selected francophone countries in sub-Saharan Africa. Methods. This study is based on cross-sectional data obtained from Demographic and Health Surveys on five countries including Benin (n = 13,407), Madagascar (n = 12,448), Mali (n = 10,326), Niger (n = 12,558), and Togo (n = 6,979). The explanatory factors included participant age, marital status, type of residency, education, household wealth quantile, employment stats, and access to electronic media. Associations between health insurance ownership and the explanatory factors were analyzed us of having insurance in Benin and Mali and 6% higher likelihood in Madagascar and Togo. Conclusions. Percentage of women who reported having health insurance was noticeably low in all five countries. As indicated by the multivariate analyses, the actual situation is likely to be even worse due to significant socioeconomic inequalities in the distribution of women having an insurance plan. The results showed that SDHA and ALDOA were the most stable reference genes in 3D4/21 cells. TOP2B, TBP, and PPIA were the most stable reference genes in PK-15 cells. SDHA and ALDOA were the most stable reference genes in IPEC-J2 cells. In addition, each cell line only needs to use two reference genes to standardize the expression of target genes. Taken together, this study provides a reference for different pig cell lines to select reference genes and also provides a theoretical basis for the use of these cell lines in related functional researches.
Three-dimensional (3D) printing technology has been widely used in orthopedics surgery. However, its efficacy in acetabular fractures remains unclear. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to examine the effect of using 3D printing technology in the surgery for acetabular fractures.

The systematic review was performed following the PRISMA guidelines. Four major electronic databases were searched (inception to February 2021). Studies were screened using a priori criteria. Data from each study were extracted by two independent reviewers and organized using a standardized table. Data were pooled and presented in forest plots.

Thirteen studies were included in the final analysis. Four were prospective randomized trials, and nine used a retrospective comparative design. The patients aged between 32.1 (SD 14.6) years and 51.9 (SD 18.9) years. Based on the pooled analyses, overall, 3D printing-assisted surgery decreased operation time by 38.8 minutes (95% CI -54.9, -22.8), intraoperative blood loss by 259.7 ml (95% CI -394.6, -124.9), instrumentation time by 34.1 minutes (95% CI -49.0, -19.1). Traditional surgery was less likely to achieve good/excellent function of hip (RR, 0.53; 95% CI 0.34, 0.82) and more likely to have complications than 3D printing-assisted surgery (RR, 1.19; 95% CI 1.07, 1.33).

Recently, melatonin is suggested to protect against disc degeneration. However, the effects of melatonin on annulus fibrosus (AF) cell senescence are not fully studied. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of melatonin on AF cell senescence in an inflammatory environment and the underlying mechanism. Rat disc AF cells were cultured in a medium with tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). Melatonin was added along with the medium to observe its protective effects. Compared with the control AF cells, TNF-α significantly declined cell proliferation potency and telomerase activity, elevated senescence-associated β-galactosidase (SA-β-Gal) activity, upregulated protein expression of senescence markers (p16 and p53), and increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) content and activity of the NF-κB pathway. However, when the TNF-α-treated AF cells were incubated with melatonin, ROS content and activity of the NF-κB pathway were decreased, and those parameters reflecting cell senescence indicated that AF cell senescence was also partly alleviated. Together, melatonin suppresses AF cell senescence through regulating the ROS/NF-κB pathway in an inflammatory environment. This study sheds a new light that melatonin may be promising to retard inflammation-caused disc degeneration.Mounting evidence has recently shown that role of long noncoding RNA is critical in many human cancers. lncRNA GSTM3TV2 was first proven to play a vital role in pancreatic cancer. However, the mechanism of lncRNA GSTM3TV2 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is still uncovered. Here, we object to distinguish the expression of lncRNA GSTM3TV2 and reveal its mechanistic relationship with HCC. We observed that the expression of lncRNA GSTM3TV2 and FOSL2 were upregulated in HCC. Knockdown of lncRNA GSTM3TV2 significantly inhibited cell proliferation. Meanwhile, the migration and invasion of HCC cells were greatly decreased by the downregulated lncRNA GSTM3TV2. The luciferase reporter assays showed that lncRNA GSTM3TV2 could be directly bound to miR-597, and the level of miR-597 was also decreased in the tumor tissues. lncRNA GSTM3TV2 could stabilize FOSL2 expression, resulting in the oncogenic properties of lncRNA GSTM3TV2 in HCC.
