These technologies have been deployed by different countries around the world to achieve effective and efficient means of maintaining appropriate distance and tracking the transmission pattern of the diseases or identifying those at high risk of infecting others. This paper aims to synthesize the research efforts on contact tracing and social distancing to minimize the spread of COVID-19. The paper critically and comprehensively reviews contact tracing technologies, protocols, and mobile applications (apps) that were recently developed and deployed against the coronavirus disease. Furthermore, the paper discusses social distancing technologies, appropriate methods to maintain distances, regulations, isolation/quarantine, and interaction strategies. In addition, the paper highlights different security/privacy vulnerabilities identified in contact tracing and social distancing technologies and solutions against these vulnerabilities. Previous research found that the Taguchi method can be used to optimize the fuel injection map and operation parameters of the injection system. The electronic control injector was able to steadily control the operation performance of a high-pressure fuel injection system, but its control was not accurate enough. This paper conducts an experimental analysis for the fuel injection quantity of DI injectors using the Taguchi-Regression approach, and provides a decision-making analysis to improve the design of electronic elements for the driving circuit. In order to develop a more stable and energy-saving driver, a functional experiment was carried out. The hybrid Taguchi-regression algorithm for injection quantity of a direct injection injector was examined to verify the feasibility of the proposed algorithm. This paper also introduces the development of a high-pressure fuel injection system and provides a new theoretical basis for optimizing the performance of an in-cylinder gasoline direct injection engine. Finally, a simulation study for the fuel injection control system was carried out under the environment of MATLAB/Simulink to validate the theoretical concepts.The most effective methods of preventing COVID-19 infection include maintaining physical distancing and wearing a face mask while in close contact with people in public places. First, phase calibration and static path elimination are proposed and performed on the collected channel state information signals from different antennas. Then, the angle of arrival information is obtained with the joint estimation algorithm of the angle of arrival (AOA) and time of flight (TOF). To deal with the multipath effects, we adopt the DBscan spatiotemporal clustering algorithm with adaptive parameters. In addition, the time-continuous angle of arrival information is obtained by interpolating and supplementing points to extract the dynamic signal paths better. Finally, the least-squares method is used for linear fitting to obtain the final angle information of a moving target. Experiments are conducted with the tracking data set presented with Tsinghua's Widar 2.0. The results show that the average angle estimation error with the proposed algorithm is smaller than Widar2.0. We use the piecewise linear constant system (PWCS) method during the calibration process to prove that all calibration parameters are observable. Recently, numerous digital tools aimed at improving supply chain effectiveness have been developed. The majority of existing research focuses on optimizing individual processes rather than the overall growth of a food supply chain. This study aims to identify the stages of the information systems planning (ISP) process that affect the success of developing a strategic decision support system (DSS) for improving the decision-making process in the agrifood supply chains. Data were collected from 66 IT executives from Greek small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the agrifood sector and analyzed using regression analysis. The results revealed that situation analysis is the only stage of ISP that predicts ISP success. These findings can assist managers in appreciating the critical role of ISP for improving the performance of agrifood supply chain operations. Implementing the most appropriate information systems (IS) and digital tools results in increased competitive advantage, cost savings, and increased customer value.The article lays out the methodology for shaping the design features of a strain gauge transducer, which would make it possible to study forces and torques generated during the operation of symmetrical seeder coulters. The transducers that have been known up until now cannot be used to determine forces and torques for the coulter configuration adopted by the authors. For this purpose, the design of the transducer in the form of strain gauge beams was used to ensure the accumulated stress concentration. A detailed design was presented in the form of a 3D model, along with a transducer body manufactured on its basis, including the method for arranging the strain gauges thereon. Moreover, the article discusses the methodology of processing voltage signals obtained from component loads. Particular attention was paid to the methodology of determining the load capacity of the transducer structure, based on finite element method (FEM). This made it possible to choose a transducer geometry providing the expected measurement sensitivity and, at the same time, maintaining the best linearity of indications, insignificant coupling error, and a broad measurement range.
