I have missed you the past two Sundays. One of them, I was visiting a BABA church in my capacity as AMS. Last Sunday, Melissa and I were away for a week for FREE in a retreat setting for pastors and wives. It was near Frankfort (Lake Michigan). We enjoyed our time away but it is always good to be home.
I'm planning to be in church this Sunday and for the next few Sundays if everything plays out as planned. I will be teaching Sunday School this week. As far as any other things related to the church, I've been out of the loop so I'm unaware of anything to share. Last I heard, there is a memorial service for Donna Clink this Saturday at 11:30am at the church building. I don't know if I can be there since Melissa and I have a previous commitment with a BABA pastor and his wife that we need to keep which occurs at the same time. We know where Donna is and whether we're at her service or not won't change that.
As far as church matters, I have cleared out my pastor's study and given Pastor Nate the keys. Any further work I do at EBC will be related to administration (finances/accounts) that needs to be closed/changed/moved as we integrate with Damascus Church. I will be in "Joyce's" office on either Tuesdays or Thursdays for a few hours each week using that computer since that is where Powerchurch financials are kept and there is a church phone. I will continue to keep you all up to date on how things are progressing with that.
Pray for Rick and Janis as they travel and continue to remember the Clink family in your prayers.
