In head and neck cancer (HNC), some subsites are associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, whereas others are unrelated. Although studies have demonstrated the heterogeneity of HPV prevalence worldwide, its impacts on incidence trends in HNC are unknown. This systematic review examined the incidence trends for HPV-related HNC subsites, exploring patterns by geographic region, age group, sex, and race/ethnicity. We searched for publications on PubMed, Embase, and Scopus. This study aimed to explore the influencing factors of red light running behavior and identify the differences between the DEB riders and the ordinary e-bike (OEB) riders to aid the development of countermeasures. In this study, the mixed (random parameter) binary logistic model was employed to capture the effects of unobserved heterogeneity. With this approach, factors including individual characteristics, behavioral variables, characteristics of signalized intersections, and the traffic environment were examined. Additionally, to account for the combined influence on the RLR occurrence, mixed logit framework was developed to reveal the correlations among the random parameters. The data of e-bike riders' crossing behaviors at four signalized intersections in Xi'an, China were collected, and 3335 samples were recorded. The results indicated showed that DEB riders are more likely to run red lights than OEB riders. Factors that affect RLR behaviors of the two groups are different. Factors associated with the unobserved heterogeneity include red-light stage, observation time, age and waiting position of the rider. The joint influence among random parameters further illustrates the complexity of the contributing factors of riders' crossing behavior. Results from the models provide insights into the development of intervention systems to improve the traffic safety of e-bike riders at intersections.Reporting of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) co-infections with other respiratory pathogens has varied. We evaluated 825,280 molecular and/or viral culture respiratory assays within the Veterans Health Administration from September 29, 2019 to May 31, 2020. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was detected in 10,222 of 174,746 (5.8%) individuals. 30,063 (17.2%) of 174,746 individuals tested for SARS-CoV-2 had additional respiratory pathogen testing; co-infection was identified in 56 of 3757 (1.5%) individuals positive for SARS-CoV-2. Among those negative for SARS-CoV-2, 1022 of 26,306 (3.9%) were positive for at least 1 respiratory pathogen. Compared to COVID-19 mono-infection, individuals with COVID-19 co-infection had lower odds of being female. Compared to non-COVID-19 respiratory pathogen infection, individuals with COVID-19 co-infection had lower odds of being female, were hospitalized more frequently, had higher odds of death, and were younger at death. Our findings suggest COVID-19 co-infections were rare; however, not all COVID-19 patients were concurrently tested for other respiratory pathogens and seasonal decreases in other respiratory pathogens were occurring as COVID-19 emerged.The unique characteristics of bacterial communities on plastic debris and microplastics in the environment have been widely studied in recent years. However, due to the randomness of sampling, it is hard to identify whether the unique characteristics of bacterial communities on plastic debris is due to the plastics as substrate itself, or the accumulation and transportation by plastics. Therefore, the ecological effects of bacterial communities on plastic debris, including the species invasion, are still not clear. To investigate such issue, we took the Haihe Estuary (Tianjin, China) as an example, and designed a strategy to sample and redeploy randomly collected environmental plastic debris for 6 weeks, thus the variation of bacterial communities on plastic debris could be assessed. At the same time, commercial experimental plastic debris was used as the control group to monitor the growth of local bacterial communities on plastics in the cultivation environment. Our study discussed the bacterial communities on the environmental plastic debris from three aspects, including colonization characteristics, taxonomic analysis and molecular metabolism estimation. We found that the bacterial communities on environmental plastic debris tended to show local characteristics, which were less affected by their original characteristics. Therefore, the results reminded us that the ecological risks of bacterial communities on plastics, which were brought by the transportation of plastic debris in the environment, may not be as serious as it was expected previously.Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is one of the most common comorbidities in patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD). Black soldier fly (BSF) larvae can convert low-quality products into high-quality biomass to be used in many industrial applications. Therefore, this study aims to assess increasing of quail manure on the biological traits of BSF larvae and the bioaccumulation of MUFAs by BSF larvae reared on quail manure, which causes many harmful effects to the environment. Different concentrations of quail manure from 0 to 100% were mixed with wheat bran. The inclusion of quail manure in the substrate resulted in (1) a decrease in saturated fatty acids by 20.20%, (2) accumulation of OA (47.36%), (3) biosynthesis of POA (157.73%) in BSF larvae, and (4) no significant differences in total protein (~38%) or essential amino acids (~43%) of BSF larvae. Inclusion of 40% of quail manure improved the performance of BSF larvae.
