Off-pump myocardial revascularization together with Impella Your five.5-assisted with regard to cardiogenic jolt.
Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) have attracted much concern because of the environmental and health risks they pose. Here we used liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole-Orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry to quantify 10 types of EDCs at 118 sampling sites in Jiangsu Province, China, and then evaluated their respective environmental risk using a conservative risk quotient method. The results show that, in surface water, the targeted nonylphenol (NP), 4-tert-octylphenol (4-t-OP), and (2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) were ranked highest, having mean concentrations above 300 ng/L. In comparison, both 4-t-OP and DEHP were also ranked highest, with mean concentrations above 100 ng/g, in the sediment samples. Moreover, the ∑10EDCs concentration in the Huai River Basin was similar to that in the Yangtze River Basin. Notably, Huai'an city had the maximum mean concentration for EDCs in the Huai River Basin, followed by Xuzhou city and Suqian city, while Yangzhou city ranked highest in the Yangtze River Basin. Furthermore, the corresponding risk distribution revealed that (1) NP, bisphenol A (BPA), and 4-t-OP are of medium to high risk in 70%, 100% and 95% of the surface water samples, and likewise in 45%, 88% and 100% of the sediment samples, respectively; the maximum RQ value for NP in surface water samples reached 74.9; (2) DEHP belongs to the high-risk category in all samples (100%), whose maximum RQ reached 54.7. To our best knowledge, this is the first study to report on the occurrence, spatial distribution, and risk assessment of EDCs of high concern in Jiangsu Province, China.Parainfluenza virus 5 (PIV5) belongs to the genus Orthorubulavirus in the family Paramyxoviridae. PIV5 can infect a range of mammals, but induce mild or even unobservable clinical signs in some animals, except kennel cough in dogs. It is also able to infect a variety of cell lines, but causes minimal or even invisible cytopathic effects on many cells. Sometimes, owing to neither observable cytopathic effects in vitro nor typical clinical signs in vivo, the PIV5 is not easily usable for screening antiviral drugs. To solve this issue, we used reverse genetics to recover a dual reporter-tagged recombinant PIV5 that could simultaneously express enhanced green fluorescence protein (eGFP) and NanoLuc® luciferase (NLuc) in virus-infected cells. Both reporters were genetically stable during twenty serial passages of virus in MDBK cells. The eGFP allowed us to observe virus-infected MDBK cells in real time, and moreover the NLuc made it possible to quantify the degree of viral replication for determining antiviral activity of a given drug. Subsequently, the recombinant PIV5 was used for antiviral assays on five common drugs, i.e., ribavirin, apigenin, 1-adamantylamine hydrochloride, moroxydine hydrochloride and tea polyphenol. The results showed that only the ribavirin had an anti-PIV5 effect in MDBK cells. This study proposed a novel method for rapid screening (or prescreening) of anti-PIV5 drugs.Colibacillosis is one of the most common problems in the poultry industry. Escherichia coli strains on farms are often genetically diverse and therefore commercial vaccines provide little protection to the flocks. Here, we investigated the effect of the autogenous E. coli vaccines on the prevalence of 84 virulence-associated genes in E. coli isolated from four and five consecutive flocks on two broiler breeder farms, respectively. 115 E. coli isolates were sequenced using Illumina technologies, and compared based on both their set of housekeeping genes and their virulence profiles, defined through the composition of virulence genes. Predominantly, phylogenetic analysis showed obvious distinction between the isolates originating from different farms suggesting spatial-dependent transmission of pathogenic strains. We detected 23 sequence types, while 52.58 % of the isolates belonged to two clonal complexes. Analysis of the virulence genes showed highest prevalence (>85 %) of feoB, uspA, uspB, uspG, uspE, fimH, ompA, astA, focA, hlyE, uspC, crl, csgA, ompT and iss, of which 50 % are toxin associated genes, demonstrating the importance of competition in the pathogenesis process. Interestingly, usp genes, which are primarily associated with uropathogenic E. coli strains, were detected in all investigated isolates. The heatmap analysis demonstrated that strains belonging to same phylogenetic groups often share similar virulence profiles, confirming the usefulness of quick tests for phylogenetic typing. However, our results suggest the need to update the list of the minimal predictors used for the identification of avian pathogenic strains. Overall results indicate that continuous application of autogenous vaccines led to lower genetic diversity of E. coli housekeeping genes, but not virulence genes. When an amplitude modulated signal with a constant-frequency carrier is fed into a generic nonlinear amplifier, the phase of the carrier of the output signal is also modulated. This phenomenon is referred to as amplitude-modulation-to-phase-modulation (AM-to-PM) conversion and regarded as an unwanted signal distortion in the field of electro-communication engineering. Herein, we offer evidence that AM-to-PM conversion also occurs in the human cochlea and that listeners can use the PM information effectively to process the AM of sounds. We recorded otoacoustic emissions (OAEs) evoked by AM signals. The results showed that the OAE phase was modulated at the same rate as the stimulus modulation. The magnitude of the AM-induced PM of the OAE peaked generally around the stimulus level corresponding to the compression point of individual cochlear input-output functions, as estimated using a psychoacoustic method. A computational cochlear model incorporating a nonlinear active process replicates the abovementioned key features of the AM-induced PM observed in OAEs. These results indicate that AM-induced PM occurring at the cochlear partition can be estimated by measuring OAEs. Psychophysical experiments further revealed that, for individuals with higher sensitivity to PM, the PM magnitude is correlated with AM-detection performance. This result implies that the AM-induced PM information cannot be a dominant cue for AM detection, but listeners with higher sensitivity may partly rely on the AM-induced PM cue. With the rapid growth of the SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) yarn tension sensor, the requirement for its measurement accuracy is higher and higher. However, little research has been conducted in this field. Thus, this paper studies this field and provides a solution. This paper firstly investigates the principle and training of PSO-SVR model. On this basis, this paper also studies the association of output frequency difference data with the matching yarn tension exerted on the SAW yarn tension sensor. After that, employing the frequency difference data as input and corresponding tension as output, the PSO-SVR model is trained and employed to predict output tension of the sensor. Finally, the error with actually applied tension was calculated, the same in the least-squares approach and the BP neural network. By multiple comparisons of the same sample data set in the overall, as well as the local accuracy of the forecasted results, it is easy to confirm that the output error forecast by PSO-SVR model is much smaller relative to the least-squares approach and BP neural network. As a result, a new way for the data analysis of the SAW yarn tension sensor is provided.
To investigate the effect of reader experience, calcification and image quality on the performance of deep learning (DL) powered coronary CT angiography (CCTA) in automatically detecting obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD) with invasive coronary angiography (ICA) as reference standard.

A total of 165 patients (680 vessels and 1505 segments) were included in this study. Three sessions were performed in order (1) The artificial intelligence (AI) software automatically processed CCTA images, stenosis degree and processing time were recorded for each case; (2) Six cardiovascular radiologists with different experiences (low/ intermediate/ high experience) independently performed image post-processing and interpretation of CCTA, (3) AI+human reading was performed. Luminal stenosis ≥50% was defined as obstructive CAD in ICA and CCTA. Diagnostic performances of AI, human reading and AI+human reading were evaluated and compared on a per-patient, per-vessel and per-segment basis with ICA as reference standard and per-segment, NRI=0.068, all P<0.001). The diagnostic performance of AI was not significantly affected by calcification and image quality (all P>0.05).

AI can substantially shorten the post-processing time, while AI+human reading model can significantly improve the diagnostic performance compared with human readers, especially for inexperienced readers, regardless of calcification severity and image quality.

To evaluate the value of preoperative computed tomography (CT) features including morphologic and quantitative features for predicting the Ki-67 labeling index (Ki-67LI) of gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs).

We retrospectively included 167 patients with gastric GISTs who underwent preoperative contrast-enhanced CT. We assessed the morphologic features of preoperative CT images and the quantitative features including the maximum diameter of tumor, total tumor volume, mean total tumor CT value, necrosis volume, necrosis volume ratio, enhanced tissue volume, and mean CT value of enhanced tissue. Potential predictive parameters to distinguish the high-level Ki-67LI group (>4%, n=125) from the low-level Ki-67LI group (≤4%, n=42) were compared and subsequently determined in multivariable logistic regression analysis.

Growth pattern (p=0.036), shape (p=0.000), maximum diameter (p=0.018), total tumor volume (p=0.021), mean total tumor CT value (p=0.009), necrosis volume (p=0.006), necrosis volume ratio (p=0.000), enhanced tissue volume (p=0.027), and mean CT value of enhanced tissue (p=0.004) were significantly different between the two groups. Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that lobulated/irregular shape (odds ratio [OR]=3.817; p=0.000) and high necrosis volume ratio (OR=1.935; p=0.024) were independent factors of high-level Ki-67LI.

Higher necrosis volume ratio in combination with lobulated/irregular shape could potentially predict high expression of Ki-67LI for gastric GISTs.

In the present study, we conducted a comprehensive proteomic analysis in the hepatopancreas and quantified 1527 proteins, of which 193 changed significantly in abundance among three molting stages (pre-molt PrM, post-molt PoM, and inter-molt InM) of Scylla paramamosain using iTRAQ-coupled LC-MS/MS. Ten exoskeleton and cuticle reconstruction proteins, such as chitinase, cuticle protein and myosin heavy chain, were found change significantly in abundance between PoM and PrM. Six energy metabolism proteins such as mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase, cytochrome b-c1 and cAMP-dependent protein kinase with positive loadings showed a higher abundance in InM than PoM. In addition, all differentially abundance proteins (DAPs) were annotated for GO function and KEGG pathway analysis. buy Phycocyanobilin GO analysis demonstrated function subcategories mainly including thiamine metabolism, complement and coagulation cascades, endocrine, shigellosis, salmonella infection, and other factor-regulated calcium reabsorption.
