由於霧氣濃重、暴雨傾盆、雷聲大作，這場雨絲毫沒有要減小的跡象，為了安全，司機決定先聽從女人的建議，先下榻旅館。
兩人下了車，女人沒有帶傘，於是跟司機共撐一把傘。
他緊緊得依偎在司機的胸膛上，若有似無的香氣撩撥著司機單純的心，本來就不擅長對付女人的他，顯得心神不寧，滿腦子都是女人的軟玉溫香，完全沒有發現旅館的奇怪之處。
如果他能用心一點，或許就能發現，這旅館實在古怪。
第一，以這附近的經濟水平來說，這旅館的裝潢實在太高級了，歌德穹頂式的大門，還配上鏤空窗格。
第二，旅館的前院種滿白色玫瑰花，以這附近寒冷多雨的氣候，玫瑰花極難生存。而現在上百朵玫瑰爭妍著。
第三，司機應該要相信自己的記憶與直覺，這裡本來就沒有旅館。
然而，被美麗的女人摟著的他，完全沒有心神去想這些細節。

司機樂呵呵的步上樓梯，一邊轉著他的樓梯鑰匙，覺得今天真是幸運極了，竟然可以遇到這麼漂亮的女人，還被他所依靠著，感覺真好。
一想到剛剛那如默般的光澤長髮，淡淡的香水，纖細但不贏弱的雙手挽著自己的雙臂，殘留在自己身上的一絲體溫，司機就覺得好心情
