Examining release reduction consequences from work day of metropolitan traveling transport modes by simply applying focused emission tax with the whole fuel period.
4-21.0 in metropolitan areas), Ortho (233.3 and IQR = 171.3-363.7 in rural remote areas vs. 21.3 and IQR = 14.0-29.3 in metropolitan areas), and PTs (62.4 and IQR = 0.0-232.1 in rural remote areas vs. 32.1 and IQR = 25.2-39.9 in metropolitan areas). We identified hotspots of realized access to all three types of providers in rural remote areas, where patients with OA tend to travel longer for health care. This study may provide insight on the choice of catchment size and the distance decay pattern of health care utilization for further studies on spatial accessibility.
With an increasing aging population and heavy medical burden, euthanasia has become a controversial topic in Hong Kong (HK) in recent years. Medical students are future medical professionals who may face novel and evolving ethical dilemmas. Hence, their views on euthanasia are crucial.

To examine the attitudes of medical students towards euthanasia in HK and identify the factors associated with their attitude towards euthanasia.

A questionnaire-based cross-sectional study among medical students in HK was conducted. The online anonymous questionnaires were distributed to all six years of students studying medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the University of Hong Kong (HKU), who provide medical training in HK. Attitude towards Euthanasia (ATE), measured using a five-point Likert Scale, was used to assess medical students' attitudes towards euthanasia.

overall, 228 valid responses were received in 2021. The mean score of ATE was 29 (SD10.9), in which 134 (58.8%) of respondents showed a negative attitude towards euthanasia. Negative association was found between Christian (
-value = 0.003) and Catholic (
-value = 0.032) and the ATE score. Meanwhile, positive association was found between male gender (
-value = 0.011) and witnessed withdrawing of nutritional support from patient(s) (
-value = 0.011) and the ATE score.

It is necessary for the government and schools to place more emphasis on euthanasia in the school curriculum by integrating ethical discussions and clinical attachment.

Providing cancer care to the NT's diverse population has significant challenges, particularly related to large distances, limited resources and cultural differences. This paper describes the developments to improve cancer treatment services, screening and end-of-life care in the NT over the past two decades, with a particular focus on what this means for the NT's Indigenous peoples. This overview of NT cancer services was collated from peer-reviewed literature, government reports, cabinet papers and personal communication with health service providers. The establishment of the Alan Walker Cancer Care Centre (AWCCC), which provides radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other specialist cancer services at Royal Darwin Hospital, and recent investment in a PET Scanner have reduced patients' need to travel interstate for cancer diagnosis and treatment. The new chemotherapy day units at Alice Springs Hospital and Katherine Hospital and the rapid expansion of tele-oncology have also reduced patient travel within the NT. Access to palliative care facilities has also improved, with end-of-life care now available in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine. However, future efforts in the NT should focus on increasing and improving travel assistance and support and increasing the availability of appropriate accommodation; ongoing implementation of strategies to improve recruitment and retention of health professionals working in cancer care, particularly Indigenous health professionals; and expanding the use of telehealth as a means of delivering cancer care and treatment.Occupational logging activities expose workers to a wide range of risk factors, such as lifting heavy loads, prolonged, awkward positioning of the lower back, repetitive movements, and insufficient work pauses. Body posture has an important impact on the level of physiological load. The present study involved a group of 40 loggers in the province of Enna (Sicily, Italy) with the aim of defining the impact of logging activities on the workers' physiological strain during the three primary work tasks of felling, delimbing, and bucking. The Zephyr Bioharness measurement system was used to record trunk posture and heart rate data during work tasks. The NASA TLX questionnaire was used to explore workers' effort perception of the work tasks. Based on our results, the most demanding work task was tree felling, which requires a higher level of cardiac cost and longer periods spent in awkward trunk postures. The perceived physiological workload was consistently underestimated, especially by the more experienced loggers. Lastly, as the weight of the chainsaw increased, the cardiac load increased. The HELLP syndrome (hemolysis, liver damage and thrombocytopenia) is a rare (0.5-0.9%) but serious complication of pregnancy or puerperium associated with a higher risk of maternal and fetal mortality and morbidity. Liver and spleen hematomas rarely entangle (<2%) HELLP cases, but rupture of the hematomas presents an immediate threat to life. We present the history of a 35-year old pregnant woman (at the 31st week) admitted to our hospital due to the risk of premature delivery. On the first day, the patient did not report any complains, and the only abnormality was thrombocytopenia 106 G/L. However, within several hours, tests showed platelet levels of 40.0 G/L, LDH 2862.0 U/L and AST 2051.6 U/L, and the woman was diagnosed with severe HELLP syndrome, complicated by hematomas of the liver and spleen, seizures (eclampsia), severe arterial hypertension and coagulation disorders. The purpose of this article is to highlight the need for early investigation of the causes of thrombocytopenia and the differentiation of HELLP from other thrombotic microangiopathies (TMAs).Driving behavior is considered one of the most important factors in all road crashes, accounting for 40% of all fatal and serious accidents. Moreover, aggressive driving is the leading cause of traffic accidents that jeopardize human life and property. By evaluating data collected by various collection devices, it is possible to detect dangerous and aggressive driving, which is a huge step toward altering the situation. The utilization of driving data, which has arisen as a new tool for assessing the style of driving, has lately moved the concentration of aggressive recognition research. The goal of this study is to detect dangerous and aggressive driving profiles utilizing data gathered from motorcyclists and smartphone APPs that run on the Android operating system. A two-stage method is used first, determine driver profile thresholds (rules), then differentiate between non-aggressive and aggressive driving and show the harmful conduct for producing the needed outcome. The data were collected from motorcycles using -Speedometer GPS-, an application based on the Android system, supplemented with spatiotemporal information. After the completion of data collection, preprocessing of the raw data was conducted to make them ready for use. The next steps were extracting the relevant features and developing the classification model, which consists of the transformation of patterns into features that are considered a compressed representation. Lastly, this study discovered a collection of key characteristics which might be used to categorize driving behavior as aggressive, normal, or dangerous. The results also revealed major safety issues related to driving behavior while riding a motorcycle, providing valuable insight into improving road safety and reducing accidents.Hydroplaning risk evaluation plays a pivotal role in highway safety management. Zolinza It is also an important component in the intelligent transportation system (ITS) ensuring human driving safety. Water-film is the widely accepted vital factor resulting in hydroplaning and thus continuously gained researchers' attention in recent years. This paper provides a new framework to evaluate the hydroplaning potential based on emerging 3D laser scanning technology and water-film thickness estimation. The 3D information of the road surface was captured using a vehicle-mounted Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) system and then processed by a wavelet-based filter to remove the redundant information (surrounding environment trees, buildings, and vehicles). Then, the water film thickness on the given road surface was estimated based on a proposed numerical algorithm developed by the two-dimensional depth-averaged Shallow Water Equations (2DDA-SWE). The effect of the road surface geometry was also investigated based on several field test data in Shanghai, China, in January 2021. The results indicated that the water-film is more likely to appear on the rutting tracks and the pavement with local unevenness. Based on the estimated water-film, the hydroplaning speeds were then estimated to represent the hydroplaning risk of asphalt pavement in rainy weather. The proposed method provides new insights into the water-film estimation, which can help drivers make effective decisions to maintain safe driving. The Ecological Conservation Redline (ECR) of China plays an important role in avoiding ecological space occupancy and maintaining regional ecological security. Anji County in Zhejiang Province is one of the first regions to implement the ECR in China. This paper takes Anji County as an example to analyze the effects of ECR. To do this, we first set up two scenarios with the CLUE-S model a normal land-use development scenario (NLDS) and an ECR implementation scenario (ECRS); then we compare the land use of 2010 and 2015 under NLDS and ECRS. Land use, ecosystem services value (ESV), landscape metrics, and ecological product outputs were compared between the entire county and the ECR areas. The results revealed the following (1) From 2000 to 2015, the ecological land in Anji County decreased by 4.03%, while it decreased by 1.17% in the ECR areas. (2) In the ECR areas, there was less arable land and construction land of the ECRS than in the NLDS, which indicates the ECR impeded the expansion of construction land and arable land in the ECR areas. (3) The ECR areas account for 39% of Anji County but contribute more than 80% to the ESV of the whole county. During 2000-2015, the ESV of the entire county decreased while the ESV of the ECR areas increased. (4) From 2000 to 2015, whereas landscape fragmentation of the entire county increased, that of ECR areas decreased. (5) Since the ECR's implementation, Anji County has vigorously developed the bamboo industry, ecological agriculture, the tourism industry, and achieved rapid economic development via industrial restructuring and transformation. On the whole, the ECR has neither adversely affected land development nor economic development but instead has promoted the optimization of the land's spatial development pattern.
