Human prenatal development is divided into an embryonic period and a fetal period. Intense organogenetic activity occurs in the embryonic period of prenatal life, while the fetal period is marked by less intense changes. Knowledge of the embryology of the orbit not only allows insights into how normal variations in the orbital structure arise but also provides an understanding of how congenital deformities occur when normal orbital development goes awry. In order to explore our understanding of the developmental anatomy of the orbit during the fetal period of prenatal life, the authors have summarized the major milestones in orbital morphogenesis, a temporally precise and morphogenetically intricate process. This process can be considered as an anatomic series of complex, well-orchestrated changes in morphology as well as a series of complex biochemical and molecular events that coordinate and control the anatomic development. Identifying and linking signaling pathways and regulatory genes linked with normal orbital morphogenesis is a crucial step to offer patients with chronic or incurable orbital diseases effective treatment options in the future.The embryonic and fetal development of the orbit comprises a series of sequential events, starting with the fertilization of the ovum and extending until birth. Most of the publications dealing with orbital morphogenesis describe the sequential development of each germinal layer, the ectoderm with its neuroectoderm derivative and the mesoderm. This approach provides a clear understanding of the mode of development of each layer but does not give the reader a general picture of the structure of the orbit within any specified time frame. In order to enhance our understanding of the developmental anatomy of the orbit, the authors have summarized the recent developments in orbital morphogenesis, a temporally precise and morphogenetically intricate process. Understanding this multidimensional process of development in prenatal life, identifying and linking signaling cascades, as well as the regulatory genes linked to existing diseases, may pave the way for advanced molecular diagnostic testing, developing minimally invasive interventions, and the use of progenitor/stem cell and even regenerative therapy.
While methods of independent study, such as problem-based learning, have been shown beneficial to students' learning outcome and motivation to self-educate, these concepts are currently challenged by the pandemic. METHODS Two-hundred-forty medical students completed and evaluated the teaching module in a classroom and 127 students in the distance learning setting.
The interactive, problem-based teaching module was transferred well into the distance learning setting during the pandemic. However, while the presented results suggest that distance learning is a good substitute for classroom teaching when in-person teaching is not possible, the distance teaching module was perceived less efficient in its course didactics, demands as well as applicability than the same module in a classroom setting.
Although distance learning thus cannot entirely replace classroom education, it does provide a well-suited alternative method to teach particularly nuclear medicine and medicine in general. Future applications should offer introductory sessions, provide learning materials in advance and slow down the teaching pace to facilitate online, distance learning.

Smartphones are gradually replacing notebooks in clinical practice as a medium for nursing information systems. Clinical nursing practicums are a necessary means for nursing students to foster their professional competence. In addition to professional skills, nursing students must also learn to apply information technologies in clinical settings. This study aimed to understand nursing students' behavioral intention toward nursing information smartphones and to further identify the factors influencing nursing students' behavioral intentions based on the technology acceptance model. A cross-sectional research design was used in this study. Eighty nursing students were recruited from a regional teaching hospital in Central Taiwan. The findings demonstrated that subjects' perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of nursing information smartphones, as well as their attitude toward using and behavioral intention to use the smartphones, were positive, and they provided constructive feedback and suggestions to improve nursing information systems in hospitals. The findings can serve as a reference for hospitals and clinical training institutions seeking to integrate nursing information systems in clinical nursing education.The aim of this study was to find out the effects of telehealth interventions on blood pressure control by conducting a meta-analysis. Six databases were used. The literature review covered the period between December 1, 2020, and January 26, 2021. The meta-analysis was conducted by comprehensive Meta-Analysis Software version 2.2. Categorical variables were analyzed by odds ratios at a confidence interval of 95%. In data formatting and analysis, independent groups (sample size, P value); independent groups (mean, SD); Cohen's d, SE; and paired groups (N, P value) were used. The bias risk was assessed based on the Revised Cochrane Risk-of-Bias Tool for Randomized Trials. Total sample size including 22 studies was 11 120. It was determined that interventions performed through telehealth applications had a significant effect on blood pressure control (odds ratio = -0.14; 95% confidence interval = -0.20 to -0.08; P less then .001). In telehealth applications, blood pressure values decreased more when the application was performed through a Web site (-0.31; 95% confidence interval = -0.49 to -0.13), duration of the intervention was 12 months or shorter (-0.18; 95% confidence interval = -0.28 to -0.010), stroke developed in case of hypertension (-0.31, 95% confidence interval = -0.76 to 0.12), and the study was conducted in the Far East countries (-0.24; 95% confidence interval = 0.40 to -0.07). Interventions with telehealth applications are effective in blood pressure management. However, there is a lack of studies on the quality, usefulness, and easy use of electronic medical records examined from the perspective of nurses. This study sought the effect of the system quality, information quality, and service quality of an electronic medical record on nurses' perceived usefulness and ease of use of the electronic medical record. A total of 278 nurses from four hospitals completed a self-administered questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and hierarchical multiple regression methods. The results showed that the system, information, and service quality of the electronic medical records explained 36.2% of the variance in perceived usefulness ( F = 51.760, P less then .001) and 43.4% of the variance in perceived ease of use ( F = 70.019, P less then .001). Thus, these three qualities were significant factors predicting perceived usefulness and ease of use.
