A structure of rocks is different from that of minerals.Minerals are always made of the same elements in the same proportions.All minerals have a crystal structure.Different minerals in a rock may very.Soil, plants, rivers, and oceans these only for a very thin cover,but in between is a solid and molten rock.Rocks are used for many resources such as building the home we all live in or carving cool statues.Some rock structures or carvings help us ook at our past.Many people just value rocks.When scientists study rocks they learn how this are changed.Rocks DO CHANGE.When rock change it takes about thousands to milions of years.A rock cycle shows how rocks change/form.This cycleis made of continous events.Unlike any other cycle this one doesnt go in a specific order.This cycle can go from three or two different ways, and this can happen at any point.There are 3 different kinds:Igneous, Sedimentary,and Metamorphic.Igneous rocks from within or on Earth's surface.Sometime this rock gets raised when the mountain is pushed up because it is a big depths.A sedimentary rock forms when things such as older plants or older materia get cemented togehter.The amterials will start froming layers when pushed by water or wind.Sedimantery can be formed in many ways.Metamorphic rocks from when things get pressured and tempature push it togeher.About 95% of Igneous Rocks are made from Earth's crust.
