This study aimed to assess the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Head and Neck Information Needs Questionnaire (HaNiQ).

The HaNiQ was translated into a Chinese version using internationally recognized forward- and back-translation procedures. The reliability and validity of the HaNiQ were measured using Cronbach's α coefficient, split-half reliability, exploratory factor analysis, and Pearson correlation analysis.

A total of 207 patients in different head and neck cancer (HNC) stages and 174 caregivers completed the Chinese version of the HaNiQ. Internal consistencies varied between good and very well (Cronbach's α coefficient 0.74-0.90); the split-half coefficient and the content validity index (CVI) of the questionnaire were 83.5% and 83.33%, respectively. The cumulative contribution rates of the 5 subscales in patients with HNCand their caregivers were 62.41% and 61.19%, respectively. However, there are some differences between the Chinese questionnaire forcaregiver and the original questionnaire regarding the attribution of items. Items 22, 23, and 27 in the Psychosocial subscale of the English version were assigned to the Survivorship subscale in the Chinese version for caregivers.

The results demonstrated that the Chinese version of the HaNiQ is a reliable and valid instrument for measuring the information needs of patients with HNC and that of their caregivers. Though the structure of the Chinese version was different from the English version for caregivers of HNC patients, the Chinese version of the HaNiQ appears to be reliable and would benefit from further testing.

First-year college students had exposure to unhealthy lifestyle behaviors that correlate with a high prevalence of anxiety and depression. Regarding to the modifiable lifestyle behaviors factors, this study investigated the prevalence and correlation of multiple lifestyle behaviors, anxiety and depression in a sample of Chinese first-year college students.

Cross-sectional data were extracted from

The data of the study was collected using face-to-face semi-structured interviews. Eight breastfeeding mothers were purposefully selected from two primary health care clinics in Rustenburg, North West Province, South Africa. The data were coded, categorized, and clustered into themes using Giorgi's phenomenological analysis. Ethical considerations and measures of trustworthiness were adhered to throughout the study.

The findings revealed three themes a desire for working mothers to continue the adherence to exclusive breastfeeding, workplace support for breastfeeding mothers in the adherence to exclusive breastfeeding, and an unsuitable workplace environment for the adherence to exclusive breastfeeding. Six sub-themes were identified the need to return to the workplace soon after baby's birth, psychological responses in the adherence to exclusive breastfeeding, lack of support from employers and co-workers in the adherence to exclusive breastfeeding, lack of or partial implementation of breastfeeding policies in the workplace, the workplace not being supportive for mothers' having to express and the workplace not being supportive for mothers' having to store breastmilk.

Based on the findings, South African government should revisit employment policies to support working mothers who need to continue with exclusive breastfeeding after returning from maternity leave.

Operating room nurses, as essential members of health care teams, often face ethical challenges in the operating room. By using the ethical experiences of operating room nurses, a better understanding of ethics in the operating room can be achieved, which can lead to better nursing decisions in the face of these challenges. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate operating room nurses' lived experiences of ethical codes.

A hermeneutic phenomenological study was performed in Hamadan (Iran) from February 2019 to November 2020. Ten operating room nurses were selected as participants by purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was performed based on Van Manen methodology.

Data analysis revealed three main themes and 11 sub-themes representing the operating room nurses experience of the ethical code. The main themes were; adherence to professional commitments, preserving patient dignity, and respect to colleagues.

The results underlined ethics and ethical values in the operating room. Due to the intense interactions between operating room nurses with the patient and surgical team, commitment to ethics by nurses can lead to improving quality of care and interactions among members of the surgical team. It is suggested that using these codes as a guideline and a framework could be developed to improve the ethical and professional performance of operating room nurses.

This study seeks to understand the experiences of nurses who resigned because of limited available career development opportunities and of the possible reasons for their resignation.

Semi-structured interviews were conducted with nine clinical nurses who experienced limitations in the development of their careers and consequently left their jobs to elicit their feelings and reasons for leaving. Two themes and four subthemes relating to the experiences and attributions of former nurses were identified. Nurses who experienced career plateau were disappointed with the current work and uncertainty about the future. This study aimed to determine the relationship between emotional reflexivity and work-life integration through the mechanism of moral courage and enhance our understanding of the importance of these nursing concepts to enable the nurses to develop better coping strategies for work-life integration.

A cross-sectional survey was performed with 249 nurses, including staff nurses, ICU and critical care nurses, operation theatre nurses, pediatric nurses from 17 hospitals. Emotional Reflexivity, work-life integration, and courage were measured using a demographic information questionnaire, Life Project Reflexivity Scale (LPRS), Nurse's Moral Courage Scale (NMCS), and Work-Life Boundary Enactment (WLBE) scale. A series of multiple regressions analyzed the mediating effect.

Emotional Reflexivity was positively correlated with work-life integration (
=0.66,
<0.01). There was a positive correlation between emotional reflexivity and moral courage. But the path did not get the necessary support in the structural equation modeling (SEM) (
=-0.13,
=0.40). When controlling for courage (
=0.42,
<0.01), the association was significant between emotional reflexivity and work-life integration with partial mediation.

The study reported a positive correlation between reflexivity and work-life integration. Thus, nurses' work-life integration becomes better by reinforcing their emotional reflexivity and moral courage.

To describe the professional quality of life and explore its associated factors among nurses coming from other areas of China to assist with the anti-epidemic fight in Wuhan and especially examine whether the hospital ethical climate was independently associated with nurses' professional quality of life.

A cross-sectional online survey was conducted from March 2020 to April 2020. The nurses working in Wuhan from the other parts of China were the target population. The Professional Quality of Life Scale version 5, the Hospital Ethical Climate Survey, and a basic information sheet were used to collect data. Descriptive statistics,

During the early stage of the pandemic, nurses demonstrated moderate to high level of compassion satisfaction, low to moderate level of burnout, and all nurses experienced secondary traumatic stress. Nurses perceived a high level of hospital ethical climate, and the perceived hospital ethical climate played an important role in promoting nurses' professional quality of life during a life-threatening infectious disease pandemic.
