Identifying the consequence of Hot Electron Dissipation in Molecular Spreading Experiments with Metallic Surfaces.
This image dataset helps to fill the gaps in the practical micropaleontological analysis of benthic foraminifera giving better information for the species identification from the modern and Pleistocene sediments. This dataset contains raw and analyzed microbial data for the samples of spontaneously fermented Ethiopian honey wine, Tej, collected from three locations of Ethiopia. It was generated using culture independent amplicon sequencing technique. To gain a better understanding of microbial community variance and similarity across Tej samples from the same and different locations, the raw sequenced data obtained from the Illumina Miseq sequencer was subjected to a bioinformatics analysis. Lower diversity and richness of both bacterial and fungal communities were observed for all of the Tej samples. Besides, samples collected from Debre Markos area showed a significant discriminating tax for both bacterial and fungal communities. In nutshell, this amplicon sequencing dataset provides a useful collection of data for modernizing this spontaneous fermentation into a directed inoculated fermentation. Detail discussion on microbiome of Tej samples is given in [1].A manually classified dataset of images obtained by four static cameras located around a construction site is presented. Eight object classes, typically found in a construction environment, were considered. The dataset consists of 1046 images selected from video footage by a frame extraction algorithm and txt files containing the objects' class and coordinates information. These data can be used to develop computer vision techniques in the engineering and construction fields.Customer loyalty is difficult to establish because of the danger of online transactions, which causes risk in all transaction procedures. The dataset presents the survey data including three factors as electronic loyalty, perceived mental benefits, hedonic value. The quantitative data is based on 485 participants who bought from e-commerce websites. SmartPLS 3.7 software analyzed the survey collected data in three stages measurement model evaluation (scale reliability and scale validity); structural model assessment (collinearity issues, the significance and relevance of the structural model relationships, coefficient of determination, effect size, and predictive relevance); and mediator analysis. Aside from confirming the Stimulus - Organism - Response (SOR) model in the relationships between perceived mental benefits, hedonic value, and electronic loyalty; moreover, this data revealed that hedonic value had a mediating effect on the relationship between electronic loyalty and perceived mental benefits in the electronic customer relationship management.Recovering critical raw materials from end-of-life batteries is mandatory to limit the need of virgin resources in the long-term. However, most of the recycling of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) technologies are still in an infancy stage. As a result, to date, only few studies focus on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of the proposed processes, presenting limited results. This paper reports the methodology and data resulting from sustainability evaluation of 33 different technologies for spent LIBs recovery, on the basis of the availability of information, identified in literature. The ESCAPE (standing for Evaluation of Sustainability of material substitution using CArbon footPrint by a simplified approach) method is based on the use of only two parameters the embodied energy and the carbon footprint. These parameters are calculated for all the process steps of each technology. Using the ESCAPE approach, the data about energies and emissions associated with the electricity consumption for thermal and mechanical treatments and chemicals and water use are calculated for all the 33 selected technologies, referring to a recent work (Fahimi et a., 2022), which only presents the results. In addition, ESCAPE tool is used to evaluate and discuss the parameters that can affect the technologies sustainability, to better highlight the most onerous and impactful steps of each technology. Then, this paper also shows that ESCAPE approach allows to propose some strategies to improve the recovery processes, with the aim to support eco-design.Empirical data and methods of measurements for the research article "Experimental correlation of thermal conductivity with dielectric properties of wood and wood-based construction materials Possibilities for rapid in-situ building energy evaluation" by Saeed et al. [1] is presented. The data offers an insight into the possible correlation between thermal conductivity and dielectric properties of wood and wood-based materials. There is independent data on thermal conductivity and dielectric properties of wood in the literature. However, data correlating the two properties is scarce, making our dataset unique. Data on the dielectric properties, thermal conductivity, density, and moisture content of 30 solid wood and 17 wood-based materials is presented. Leukadherin-1 solubility dmso Wood-based materials include plywood, OSB, chipboard, and MDF. Measurements were made on 50 mm x 25 mm samples, typically 25 mm thick. The thermal conductivity was measured using the steady state method with a heat flow meter apparatus. Dielectric properties were measured using an unshielded system of two electrodes with an LCR meter at 10 kHz and 100 kHz frequencies at room temperature. All measurements were made in the transverse direction for solid woods and perpendicular to the face of the boards for wood-based materials.Theoretical understanding of dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) liquid depends on the understanding of the DMSO clusters. In this work, we provide the structures and the energetics of the DMSO clusters. The structures have been generated using ABCluster and further optimized at the MP2/aug-cc-pVDZ level of theory. The final structures have been optimized at two different levels of theory PW6B95D3/aug-cc-pVDZ and ω B97XD/aug-cc-pVDZ. The Cartesian coordinates of the structures optimized at the MP2/aug-cc-pVDZ level of theory are also reported. The relative energies of the structures can be used to locate the most favorable structures of the DMSO clusters. The Cartesian coordinates of the structures can be used for further investigations on DMSO clusters. In addition, we report the data related to the quantum theory of atoms in molecule (QTAIM) analysis of the investigated clusters. The QTAIM data reported in this work can be used to understand and determine the nature of non-covalent interactions in DMSO clusters. For further reading and discussion on the data reported here, please report to the original manuscript Malloum and Conradie (2022) [1].Acacia tree population is declining in several countries of the world especially in the Arabian peninsula due to human-induced activities. The tree has potential medicinal and economic benefits as a source of fuel and timber. It can fix nitrogen, a significant property that assists in desert rehabilitation. However, the lack of genomic information of Acacia pachyceras hampers its genetic study and breeding process. We performed paired-end sequencing of A. pachyceras at a depth of 120X to obtain raw sequences of 108.9 GB with a per base quality >Q30. Filtered raw data was assembled into a fasta file of 4 GB. The assembled genomic sequences consisted of 901,755 single sequence repeats (SSRs). In total 11,596 primer pairs were designed against these SSR motifs. The data generated provides baseline genomic information about the species and formulates a base for further sequencing of A. pachyceras through PACBio and HiC technologies. The novel developed SSR markers will facilitate genetic diversity and conservation studies for Acacia species. This article presents the data obtained from a field experiment in which grass-clover leys were fertilized with increasing N rates applied in either mineral N fertilizer and/or cattle slurry forms. The leys were composed of a 2-species mixture of white clover (Trifolium repens L.) and ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) and a 4-species mixture of white clover, red clover (Trifolium pratense L.), festulolium (Festulolium braunii) and ryegrass. In total, eighty fields were established at two farm sites in the western part of Denmark on sandy soils and monitored for two herbage seasons (2018-2019). Dry matter yield, botanical composition, N concentration and the proportion of N derived from the atmosphere using the 15 N dilution method were recorded in the harvestable biomass after each cut. Furthermore, the specific growth, N uptake and quantitative biological N fixation of the species were determined. The dataset can be used to establish the N balance, to calculate the optimal economic fertilization rate based on grass-clover composition and to predict N leaching and residual effect. The data presented were thoroughly used and discussed in the research article "Contrasting effects of slurry and mineral fertilizer on N2 fixation in grass-clover mixtures".A natural occurring class compound, cinnamic acid is composed of a benzene ring, an alkene double bond and an acrylic acid functional group. Due to the feasibility of its structure modifications with a variety of compounds, cinnamic acids have been actively explored to improve their biological efficacy. Cinnamic acid derivatives have been reported to exhibit an antimicrobial property. Despite the beneficial properties of cinnamic acid derivatives, the antiviral activity of the amide derivatives especially against the dengue virus is poorly defined. Herein, the cinnamic amide derivatives were evaluated for their potential as an anti-dengue virus through the in-silico analysis of the derivatives. This data aimed to analyze the interactions of the derivatives against the non-structural protein of viral target, dengue virus type 2 (DENV-2) NS2B/N3. The evaluation was based on binding affinity, interaction type (bond type and distance) and interaction with amino acids. Three derivatives (CAA15, CAA16 and CAA17) with the best docking score were reported. Enhanced understanding of the interaction acquired from this analysis provide a useful information on for the prediction of the binding behavior affinity of cinnamic amide derivatives and is ultimately useful in the rational design of drugs to synthesis new compounds with the potential benefits against DENV-2.Road surface monitoring plays a vital role in ensuring safety and comfort for the various road users, from pedestrians to drivers. Furthermore, this information is useful for the maintenance of the roads. The road condition deteriorates due to volatile weather. Thus the main objective of the proposed paper is to create an image dataset of the road surface for two seasons, i.e. summer and rainy. Accordingly, we created road surface images for different roads such as paved and unpaved roads. These folders consist of two subfolders for Rainy and Summer potholes. The dataset consists of 8484 images and 10 videos. This dataset is highly useful for machine learning experts working in the field of automatic vehicle controlling and road surface monitoring. The wearable sensors have attracted a growing interest in different markets, including health, fitness, gaming, and entertainment, due to their outstanding characteristics of convenience, simplicity, accuracy, speed, and competitive price. The development of different types of wearable sensors was only possible due to advances in smart nanostructured materials with properties to detect changes in temperature, touch, pressure, movement, and humidity. Among the various sensing nanomaterials used in wearable sensors, the piezoresistive type has been extensively investigated and their potential have been demonstrated for different applications. In this review article, the current status and challenges of nanomaterials and fabrication processes for wearable piezoresistive sensors are presented in three parts. The first part focuses on the different types of sensing nanomaterials, namely, zero-dimensional (0D), one-dimensional (1D), two-dimensional (2D), and three-dimensional (3D) piezoresistive nanomaterials. Then, in second part, their fabrication processes and integration are discussed.
