His father, Elder T.E Oyakhilome, was one of the first leaders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. His first son Pastor Chris was truly an influencer from him. Being raised in a Christian home is an amazing blessing.

We can appreciate the pride his father must have felt watching his firstborn son spreading the Gospel message that Jesus Christ is our Savior. His father's work must have undoubtedly had a profound impact on young Chris Oyakhilome. When he was nine He embarked on his first crusade.

Chris Oyakhilome has kept his word to pay tribute to his parents. From leading prayer groups at the university level to preaching to millions, Pastor Chris has paid tribute to his father in the manner of a devout and true Christian.

Pastor Chris celebrated his mother Angelina who turned 80 with a special celebration in Benin.

She is known for being the "quintessential patriarch" and is beloved and adored for her grace and fairness. She is a very loving grandmother and mother-in-law as well as mother-in law who has passed her divine grace onto her son.

Angelina Oyakhilome was mother to Tim Oyakhilome. Pastor Chris's brother Ken is known respectfully as Reverend Ken. He has imparted a lot of wisdom and changed many lives as an eminent Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas branch. He is also part of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council.

Katty Worghiren is Pastor Chris's sister. She is the director of the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry. She was a dazzling choir member before she joined. Her songwriting abilities are the reason for some of the most famous LoveWorld songs. She composed the national popular anthem "I Believe In Nigeria".

Widely recognized in the gospel music community for her initials CSO Pastor Chris's daughter Sharon is an aspiring gospel star. Inspired by her father's teachings she wrote the award-winning "Holy Spirit" song to testify to her profound Christian dedication. She is also an inspirational leader of the Global Youth Leaders Forum.
