The current data suggest that IL4, IL9, and VEGF mediation may be involved in its pathophysiologic mechanisms and response to LESW treatment.Very recently, a novel phase of hydrogenated borophene, namely [Formula see text]-4H, has been synthesized in a free-standing form. Unlike pure borophenes, this phase shows very good stability in the air environment and possesses semiconducting characteristics. Because of the interesting stiffness and flexibility of borophenes, herein, we systematically studied the mechanical properties of this novel hydrogenated phase. Our results show that the monolayer is stiffer (Y[Formula see text] = [Formula see text]195 N/m) than group IV and V 2D materials and even than MoS[Formula see text], while it is softer than graphene. Moreover, similar to other phases of borophene, the inherent anisotropy of the pure monolayer increases with hydrogenation. The monolayer can bear biaxial, armchair, and zigzag strains up to 16, 10, and 14% with ideal strengths of approximately 14, 9, and 12 N/m, respectively. More interestingly, it can remain semiconductor under this range of tension. These outstanding results suggest that the [Formula see text]-4H is a promising candidate for flexible nanoelectronics.Regarded as the third pole of the Earth, the Tibetan Plateau (TP) is a region with complex terrain. Vegetation is widely distributed in the southeastern part of the plateau. However, the land use and land cover changes (LULCC) on the TP have not been sufficiently studied. In this study, we propose a method of studying the dynamic changes in the land cover on the TP. Landsat OLI images (2013 and 2015) were selected to extract the LULCC information of Nyingchi County, the DEM was used to extract objects' land curved surface area and analyze their three-dimensional dynamic change information, which realized a four-dimensional monitoring of the forestry information on time and spatial level. The results showed that the forest area in 2015 decreased by 7.25%, of which the coniferous forest areas decreased by 25.14%, broad-leaved forest areas increased by 12.65%, and shrubbery areas increased by 14.62%. Compared with traditional LULCC detection methods, the change detection is no longer focused on the two-dimensional space, which helps determine the three-dimensional land use and land cover changes and their distribution. Thus, dynamic spatial changes can be observed. This study provides scientific support for the vegetation restoration and natural resource management on the TP.Fenneropenaeus chinensis is one of the most important aquaculture species in China. Research on its genomic and genetic structure not only helps us comprehend the genetic basis of complex economic traits, but also offers theoretical guidance in selective breeding. In the present study, a genome survey sequencing was performed to generate a rough reference genome utilized for groping preliminary genome characteristics and facilitate linkage and quantitative trait locus (QTL) mapping. Linkage mapping was conducted using a reduced-representation sequencing method 2b-RAD. In total, 36,762 SNPs were genotyped from 273 progenies in a mapping family, and a high-resolution linkage map was constructed. The consensus map contained 12,884 markers and spanned 5257.81 cM with an average marker interval of 0.41 cM, which was the first high-resolution genetic map in F. chinensis to our knowledge. QTL mapping and association analysis were carried out in 29 characters including body size, sex and disease resistance. 87 significant QTLs were detected in several traits and they were also evaluated by association analysis. Results of this study provide us valuable suggestions in genetic improvement and breeding of new varieties and also lay a basic foundation for further application of cloning of economic genes in selective breeding program and marker-assisted selection.Platelet-derived growth factor receptor-α (PDGFRα)-positive interstitial cells (ICs) are widely distributed in various organs and may be involved in the motility of various tubular organs. We, for the first time, aimed to investigate the distribution, immunohistochemical characteristics, and ultrastructure of PDGFRα-positive ICs in murine vas deferens, using confocal laser scanning microscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and immuno-electron microscopy (immuno-EM). For immunofluorescence, we used antibodies against PDGFRα and other markers of ICs. PDGFRα-positive ICs were distributed widely in the lamina propria, smooth muscles, and serosal layers. Although most PDGFRα-positive ICs labeled CD34, they did not label CD34 in the subepithelial layers. Additionally, PDGFRα-positive ICs were in close proximity to each other, as also to the surrounding cells. TEM and immuno-EM findings revealed that PDGFRα-positive ICs established close physical interactions with adjacent ICs. Extracellular vesicles were also detected around the PDGFRα-positive ICs. Our morphological findings suggest that PDGFRα-positive ICs may have several subpopulations, which can play an important role in intercellular signaling via direct contact with the IC network and the extracellular vesicles in the murine vas deferens. Further investigation on PDGFRα-positive ICs in the vas deferens may lead to understanding the vas deferens mortility. This paper proposes a long-term performance indicator for power electronic converters based on their reliability. The converter reliability is represented by the proposed constant lifetime curves, which have been developed using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) under different operating conditions. Unlike the state-of-the-art theoretical reliability modeling approaches, which employ detailed electro-thermal characteristics and lifetime models of converter components, the proposed method provides a nonparametric surrogate model of the converter based on limited non-linear data from theoretical reliability analysis. The proposed approach can quickly predict the converter lifetime under given operating conditions without a further need for extended, time-consuming electro-thermal analysis. Moreover, the proposed lifetime curves can present the long-term performance of converters facilitating optimal system-level design for reliability, reliable operation and maintenance planning in power electronic systems. Numerical case studies evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed reliability modeling approach. In this paper, graphene-coated spherical nanoparticles are arranged around an infinite length dielectric cylinder to enhance its extinction cross-section. Initially, a single longitudinal one-dimensional periodic array is considered in different loci concerning the transverse electric (TE) incident plane wave. It is observed that regardless of the position of the particles, the extinction cross-section of the dielectric cylinder is considerably enhanced with respect to the bare one. Later, by increasing the number of longitudinal plasmonic arrays around the cylinder, each residing in a different azimuthal direction, the extinction cross-section is further manipulated to observe double pronounced Fano resonances. The origin of the Fano resonances is described by considering their planar counterparts constructed by the periodic assembly of plasmonic oligomers. Finally, the hexamer configuration is considered as the prototype, and the effect of various optical, geometrical, and material parameters on the optical response is investigated in detail. Interestingly, due to the spherical symmetry of the cells, the extinction cross-section is also enhanced for the transverse magnetic (TM) incident wave, which is unattainable using a continuous plasmonic cover made of metal or graphene. The potential application of our proposed structure is in the design of reconfigurable conformal optical absorbers and sensors.A coronavirus antigen microarray (COVAM) was constructed containing 11 SARS-CoV-2, 5 SARS-1, 5 MERS, and 12 seasonal coronavirus recombinant proteins. The array is designed to measure immunoglobulin isotype and subtype levels in serum or plasma samples against each of the individual antigens printed on the array. We probed the COVAM with COVID-19 convalescent plasma (CCP) collected from 99 donors who recovered from a PCR+ confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection. The results were analyzed using two computational approaches, a generalized linear model (glm) and random forest (RF) prediction model, to classify individual specimens as either Reactive or non-reactive against the SARS-CoV-2 antigens. A training set of 88 pre-COVID-19 specimens (PreCoV) collected in August 2019 and102 positive specimens from SARS-CoV-2 PCR+ confirmed COVID-19 cases was used for these analyses. Results compared with an FDA emergency use authorized (EUA) SARS-CoV2 S1-based total Ig chemiluminescence immunoassay (Ortho Clinical Diagnostics VITRal to improve CCP therapeutic efficacy CoV2T alone. The use of a SARS-CoV-2 antigen array can qualify CCP for administration as a treatment for acute COVID-19, and interrogate vaccine immunogenicity and performance in preclinical, clinical studies, and routine vaccination to identify antibody responses predictive of protection from infection and disease.Surgical site infection (SSI) is a serious complication following spine surgery and is correlated with significant morbidities, poor clinical outcomes, and increased healthcare costs. Accurately identifying risk factors can help develop strategies to reduce this devastating consequence; however, few multicentre studies have investigated risk factors for SSI following posterior cervical spine surgeries. Between July 2010 and June 2015, we performed an observational cohort study on deep SSI in adult patients who underwent posterior cervical spine surgery at 10 research hospitals. Detailed patient- and procedure-specific potential risk variables were prospectively recorded using a standardised data collection chart and were reviewed retrospectively. Among the 2184 consecutive adult patients enrolled, 28 (1.3%) developed postoperative deep SSI. Multivariable regression analysis revealed 2 statistically significant independent risk factors occipitocervical surgery (P less then 0.001) and male sex (P = 0.024). Subgroup analysis demonstrated that occipitocervical surgery (P = 0.001) was the sole independent risk factor for deep SSI in patients with instrumented fusion. Occipitocervical surgery is a relatively rare procedure; therefore, our findings were based on a large cohort acquired using a multicentre study. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to identify occipitocervical procedure as an independent risk variable for deep SSI after spinal surgery.Rainbow trout fry syndrome (RTFS) and bacterial coldwater disease (BCWD) is a globally distributed freshwater fish disease caused by Flavobacterium psychrophilum. In spite of its importance, an effective vaccine is not still available. Manipulation of the microbiome of skin, which is a primary infection gate for pathogens, could be a novel countermeasure. For example, increasing the abundance of specific antagonistic bacteria against pathogens in fish skin might be effective to prevent fish disease. Here, we combined cultivation with 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing to obtain insight into the skin microbiome of the rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and searched for skin bacteria antagonistic to F. psychrophilum. FK506 mw By using multiple culture media, we obtained 174 isolates spanning 18 genera. Among them, Bosea sp. OX14 and Flavobacterium sp. GL7 respectively inhibited the growth of F. psychrophilum KU190628-78 and NCIMB 1947T, and produced antagonistic compounds of less then 3 kDa in size. Sequences related to our isolates comprised 4.
