The enclosure's left and right sidewalls are assumed to be cold temperatures, while the enclosure's bottom and top walls are kept at hot temperatures and thermally insulated, respectively. The top wall is supposed to slide at a constant speed U 0 from left to right. After transforming the governing equations into a non-dimensional form, the finite element method is employed to solve them and modeled with Comsol-Multiphysics. The effect of non-dimensional parameters such as the Richardson number ( R i = 0.1 , 1 , 10 ) , Casson fluid parameters ( ϕ = 0.1 , 0.5 , 1 ) , and the number of oscillations ( N = 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 ) on flow and thermal fields, as well as the heat transfer rate has been studied. Furthermore, the results for the Average Nusselt number over the heated bottom wavy wall under the influence of the Rayleigh number and Casson parameter are depicted. Its new applications in various industries have led to an increase in the production of it while fermentation is a very important economically method. In this study, the production of glutamate by the wild type of Corynebacterium glutamicum PTCC(Persian Type Culture Collection) 1532 was optimized using RSM. Central Composite Design (CCD) was developed by Design-Expert software version 12.0.3.0 (dx-12, State-Ease Inc.) to evaluate the effect of four important variables in five levels on glutamate production. TLC was employed to evaluate glutamate in medium qualitatively and then quantitative estimation was done by HPLC. Normal probability analysis demonstrated that data has a normal distribution. The results of ANOVA analysis showed that the urea concentration both alone and with temperature is the most effective variable in the fermentation process. Based on the quadratic model obtained in CCD, temperature 30 °C; glucose 9 g.dL-1; biotin 9 μg.L-1 and urea concentration of 0.3 g.dL-1 were found optimum conditions with a predicted glutamate production of 19.84 mg.mL-1 with desirable level 1. Therefore RSM can be an effective method to optimize glutamate production and the findings of this study are a guideline for the other amino acids fermentation by C. glutamicum.Central venous catheterization (CVC) remains a common practice in the emergency setting. Routine flushing 10-20 ml of normal saline to maintain the patency of CVC could affect the accuracy of laboratory tests. Typically, physicians require peripheral vein phlebotomy when more blood sampling is needed. One alternative method, the Pull-push method, could avoid the trauma associated with venipuncture and unnecessary peripheral vein phlebotomy. However, there has been no recent study analyzing the accuracy of blood sampling using this technique. We evaluate laboratory tests' accuracy between blood samples drawn by the Pull-push method from CVC after routine flushing with 10 ml of normal saline versus control. We conducted a diagnostic accuracy study from May to September 2019. After exclusion, 72 patients were eligible for analysis. The result intends to establish that if firms serve corporate governance, it will make the firms to manage more debt into the leverage structure decision. Results also reveal a negative and significant association between the determinants and financial leverage structure decision, and this relation signifies that when determinants tend to upturn, outside borrowing will fall into the financial leverage structure decision. The policy implications advanced from this study include the transformation of ownership structure, corporate governance, and financial policy to facilitate proper leverage structure decisions.Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant that helps to counteract oxidative stress in the body. Oxidative stress is known to greatly affect people living with HIV (PLWH) through the stimulation of HIV replication and apoptosis of CD4+ T cells. There is however, a paucity of scientific data on the serum levels of vitamin E among PLWH in Ghana, and hence, there is a need to assess its level because of the pivotal role it plays in cell longevity determination and the immune system enhancement of such persons. This study aims to assess the serum levels of vitamin E among PLWH undergoing highly active antiretroviral therapy at Ho Teaching Hospital, Ghana. In a cross-sectional study, serum vitamin E levels of 103 randomly selected PLWH aged 24-88 years who attended an antiretroviral therapy clinic at the Ho Teaching Hospital, Ghana, were measured by following standard protocols. A 24-hour dietary recall and food frequency questionnaire were employed to assess dietary intake. The results show that a high level of serum vitamin E deficiency (82.5%) was observed among the participants. Panobinostat HDAC inhibitor Majority (91.3%) of the participants had normal serum zinc status. Participants' serum vitamin E levels did not show significant correlation with their dietary intakes (correlation coefficient (ρ) = -0.094, p-value = 0.35). The prevalence of vitamin E deficiency among underweight, normal weight, overweight, and obese participants was 91.7%, 75.4%, 86.5%, and 91.7% respectively with no significant difference among these groups. There was no significant correlation between serum vitamin E levels and HIV infection duration (ρ = 0.010, p-value = 0.405) and HAART duration (ρ = 0.001, p-value = 0.313). The low serum vitamin E levels found in this study suggests that the participants could potentially be at an increased risk of developing oxidative stress and its effects.Foreign tourists' cultural contact with tradition and the use of English (tourism English) mediates visitor engagement and revisit intention. Developing cultural tourism in Mentawai requires a study on the relationship among traditions, tourism English, cultural contacts, and visitor engagement. Literature reviews show that there has not been a study examining this in Mentawai. The aim of this research was to examine Mentawai tradition and locally-based tourism English with which foreign tourists have cultural contact and the effect of cultural contact as a mediator for visitor engagement and revisit intention. Convenient sampling was used as the sampling method. Data was gained through survey which was measured using Likert scales of seven points and analysis using SEM-PLS and Smart-PLS. The study found that tourists have cultural contact with various Mentawai traditions derived from tangible and intangible culture. Tourism English involves culturally specific words, phrases and expressions which support cultural contact. The expressions with specific uses have functions in serving foreign tourists such as for greeting, offering, etc. Cultural contact has an effect on revisit intention positively. It mediates visitor engagement and revisit intention. In conclusion, cultural contact through which tourists have a contact with traditions demonstrated in tourism activities using locally-based tourism English plays a role as mediator between visitor engagement and revisit intention, meaning that Mentawai tradition and tourism English positively drives tourists' intention to revisit Mentawai tourism destinations. The traditions and use of English are important elements to be developed for Mentawai cultural tourism.The study was designed to analyze the technical efficiency of input use among the sesame producer farmers' in Maykadra Kebelle, Kafta-Humera district, Tigrai, Ethiopia; identified factors that influence farmers' resource use efficiency. Primary and secondary data sources were used and random sampling method was applied to select 187 sample sesame producers. Primary data were collected using structured questionnaire interview. Tobit two-stage model was employed to estimate farmers' resource efficiency of sesame production. In the first stage, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) was used to analyze farmers' technical and scale efficiency. In the second stage, factors that influence farmers' resource use efficiency were identified using the Tobit model. The DEA result indicated that the technical and scale efficiency of sesame producer farmers were 52% and 55% respectively. The result also revealed that under-utilization of the production inputs under consideration, especially land size and amount of seed used. Moreover, farmers' planting method (P = 0.030∗∗), age of the household head (P = 0.042∗∗), land size (P = 0.002∗∗∗), education of the household head (P = 0.001∗∗∗), and total asset owned (P = 0.024∗∗) were associated with farmers optimal input-output mix of sesame production. As a result, it can be concluded that smallholder farmers in the study area were inefficient in using inputs in sesame production. Therefore, the current inefficiency in sesame production could be improved by giving special attention and working on the factors that affect optimal input-output mix at the farm level.The use of organic fertiliser to improve soil health is crucial to halting the downward trend of crop yields in sub-Saharan Africa. If this goal is to be achieved, however, farmers require support to adopt organic fertiliser practices that match their attitudes and decision-making capacity. This study evaluated farmers' attitudes to a set of prevailing organic fertiliser practices and their associated behavioural costs (difficulty). The explanatory Rasch model was applied to a set of primary data from 250 farming households in north-east Ghana. The results showed that the average attitude of farmers was much less than the difficulty estimate of an average organic fertiliser practice, although the practices generally showed a moderate difficulty. On average, farmers' attitudes matched just three of sixteen practices on the scale, with most (70 %) of the farmers showing very weak attitudes towards the input. Latent regression results revealed that the weak attitude levels were strongly related to key factors in the farmers' background, including education, resource endowment and access to extension services.
