69% for speeds between 20 and 300 mm/s. The position controller based on the kinematic model has a mean positioning error of 13.9 mm at 100 mm and 22.6 mm at 200 mm longitudinal distance. Robot can produce a tip force of 20.1 N at 150 kPa tubing pressure and reach a maximum speed of 1490 mm/s at 100 kPa. We also demonstrate the navigation capabilities of the robot both in open field and in constrained environments. In budding yeast, macroautophagy/autophagy is required for cells to enter into the meiotic divisions. Our recent publication showed that autophagy is also required for meiotic exit. Inhibition of autophagy as cells enter into the meiotic divisions results in additional rounds of spindle formation, spindle elongation, and aberrant chromosome segregation leading to cell death. Under these conditions, the meiosis II-specific cyclin Clb3 is absent, and two substrates of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) persist into the additional divisions instead of being degraded after meiosis II. We found that the translational repressor Rim4 is a substrate of autophagy, which could explain these observations through its known role in repressing synthesis of Clb3 and the meiosis-specific co-activator of the APC/C, Ama1. Combined, these results provide new mechanistic insight into the control of meiotic exit through timed autophagic degradation of a master regulator of gene expression. Background The changing technological environment is reflected in regular updates made to the everyday technology (ET) use questionnaire (ETUQ). Newly added ETs may not present comparable challenges across countries and diagnoses.Aims To identify whether country context, or dementia diagnosis, impact ETs' challenge level.Material and methods 315 older adults from three countries were included; Sweden (n = 73), United States (n = 114), England (n = 128), and had a confirmed diagnosis of mild dementia (n = 99) or no known cognitive impairment (n = 216). see more Differential Items Functioning (DIF) analysis was performed on 88 ETs included in the ETUQ by country and diagnosis. The impact of DIF was evaluated in a Differential Test Functioning (DTF) analysis. Results Nine items (10.2%) in the ETUQ showed statistically significant DIF between countries; five of which were public space ETs and none of which were information and communication technologies (ICTs). Three ICT items, and no others, showed significant DIF by diagnosis. The items' DIF was shown to have no impact upon person measures of ability to use ET in the DTF.Conclusions and significance The utility of the ETUQ in occupational therapy practice and research internationally is highlighted through the stability of the challenge hierarchy and lack of impact on person measures.CONTEXT The optimal treatment of lower pole stones (LPS) between 1-2cm represents a point of debate among the urologists. PURPOSE The aim of the current systematic review and meta-analysis is to provide an answer on which is the most appropriate approach for the management of the LPS with a maximal dimension ≤2cm. MATERIAL AND METHODS A systematic review was conducted on PubMed, SCOPUS, Cochrane and EMBASE. The PRISMA guidelines and the recommendations of the EAU Guidelines office were followed. see more Retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), shock wave lithotripsy (SWL) and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) were considered for comparison. Primary endpoint was the stone-free rate (SFR). RESULTS 15 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were eligible. PCNL and RIRS have higher SFRs in comparison to SWL and require less retreatment sessions. Operative time and complications seem to favor SWL in comparison to PCNL, but this takes place in the expense of multiple SWL sessions. RIRS seems to be the most efficient approach for the management of stones up to 1cm in the lower pole. CONCLUSION The pooled analysis of the eligible studies showed that the management of LPS should probably reside to PCNL or RIRS to achieve stone-free status over a short period and minimal number of sessions. For stones smaller than 10mm, RIRS is more efficient in comparison to SWL. The decision between the two approaches (PCNL or RIRS) should be individual, based on the anatomical parameters, the comorbidity and the preferences of each patient.Diseases caused by insect-transmitted viruses are the predominant constraint to wheat production worldwide. However, detailed knowledge of virus incidence and dynamics in China in recent years is very limited. link2 Here, major wheat-growing regions of China were surveyed over 10 years for insect-transmitted viruses, and 2,143 samples were collected (in 2007 to 2015) and analyzed by molecular hybridization or multiplex reverse-transcription PCR for barley yellow dwarf viruses (BYDVs BYDV-GAV, -GPV, and -PAV) and wheat dwarf virus (WDV). In a 4-year survey (2016 to 2019), the incidence of eight insect-transmitted viruses (BYDVs, WDV, wheat yellow striate virus [WYSV], barley yellow striate mosaic virus [BYSMV], northern cereal mosaic virus [NCMV], and rice black-streaked dwarf virus [RBSDV]) was investigated, and BYDVs and WDV were widely distributed across China. BYDV-GAV (29.0% of the tested sample) was the most abundant, followed by BYDV-PAV (23.2%) from 2007 to 2015. link2 From 2016 to 2019, however, BYDV-PAV had become the predominant species (39.5% positive of 952 samples tested), while the incidence of BYDV-GAV (13.4%) had declined. During the entire survey, the incidence of BYDV-GPV was very low in some locations in northwestern and northern China, and all eight viruses caused only local epidemics, not large-scale outbreaks throughout China. Two new cereal-infecting rhabdoviruses, leafhopper-transmitted WYSV and planthopper-transmitted BYSMV, were also found in China in recent years.Verticillium wilt (VW) of alfalfa is a devastating disease that causes forage yield reductions of up to 50% in the northern United States and Canada. The most effective method for controlling the disease is through the development and use of resistant varieties. To identify quantitative trait loci (QTL) for VW resistance in alfalfa, we used a full-sib population segregating for VW resistance. link3 High-density linkage maps for both resistant and susceptible parents were constructed using single-dose alleles of single-nucleotide polymorphism markers generated by genotyping-by-sequencing. Five QTL associated with VW resistance were identified and they were in four linkage groups (4D, 6B, 6D, and 8C). Of those, three QTL (qVW-6D-1, qVW-6D-2, and qVW-8C) had higher logarithm of odds. Two putative candidates of nucleotide-binding site leucine-rich repeat disease resistance genes were identified in the QTL intervals of qVW-6D-2 and qVW-8C, respectively. The result agreed with our previous studies, in which similar resistance loci were identified in an association panel using genome-wide association. The results provide insight into the quantitative resistance to VW in alfalfa. The resistance loci and closely linked markers identified in the present study can be used in developing new alfalfa varieties with enhanced resistance to VW.Potato blackleg is caused by a diverse species of pectinolytic bacteria. see more In Pakistan, approximately 90% of the pathogens involved belong to Pectobacterium atrosepticum. Survey (2014 to 2017), sampling, and isolation from different potato growing areas of Punjab, Pakistan depicted an overall disease incidence of approximately 15%. Thirty-six pectinolytic strains confirmed through biochemical and pathogenicity testing were characterized via gapA gene to identify them at the species level. To further validate the identification, one strain from each species SS26 (P. link3 atrosepticum), SS28 (Pectobacterium polaris), SS70 (Dickeya dianthicola), SS90 (Pectobacterium parmentieri), SS95 (Pectobacterium punjabense), and SS96 (Pectobacterium versatile) were selected for draft genome sequencing and multilocus sequence analysis of 13 housekeeping genes (fusA, rpoD, acnA, purA, gyrB, recA, mdh, mtlD, groEL, secY, glyA, gapA, and rplB). Phylogenetic analysis revealed considerable genetic diversity in the genus Pectobacterium. In silico DNA-DNA hybridization and average nucleotide identity values of the strains selected for genome sequencing were determined with other reference Pectobacterium and Dickeya strains. Moreover, all six representative strains were also phenotypically characterized on the basis of metabolism of different carbon sources. Overall, on the basis of genotypic and phenotypic characteristics, these 36 isolates were grouped into six species P. atrosepticum, P. versatile, P. parmentieri, P. polaris, P. link2 punjabense, and D. dianthicola.Crown rust, caused by Puccinia coronata f. sp. link3 avenae Eriks. (Pca), is among the most important oat diseases resulting in significant yield losses in many growing regions. A gene-for-gene interaction is well established in this pathosystem and has been exploited by oat breeders to control crown rust. Pc39 is a seedling crown rust resistance gene that has been widely deployed in North American oat breeding. DNA markers are desired to accurately predict the specific Pc genes present in breeding germplasm. The objectives of the study were as follows (i) to map Pc39 in two recombinant inbred line (RIL) populations (AC Assiniboia/MN841801 and AC Medallion/MN841801) and (ii) to identify single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers for postulation of Pc39 in oat germplasm. Pc39 was mapped to a linkage group consisting of 16 SNP markers, which placed the gene on linkage group Mrg11 (chromosome 1C) of the oat consensus map. Pc39 cosegregated with SNP marker GMI_ES01_c12570_390 in the AC Assiniboia/MN841801 RIL population and was flanked by the SNP markers avgbs_126086.1.41 and GMI_ES15_c276_702, with genetic distances of 1.7 and 0.3 cM, respectively. In the AC Medallion/MN841801 RIL population, similar results were obtained but the genetic distances of the flanking markers were 0.4 and 0.4 cM, respectively. Kompetitive Allele-Specific PCR assays were successfully designed for Pc39-linked SNP loci. Two SNP loci defined a haplotype that accurately predicted Pc39 status in a diverse panel of oat germplasm and will be useful for marker-assisted selection in oat breeding.OBJECTIVE This research was designed to examine the contribution of self-reported experience and cue utilization to diagnostic accuracy in the context of radiology. BACKGROUND Within radiology, it is unclear how task-related experience contributes to the acquisition of associations between features with events in memory, or cues, and how they contribute to diagnostic performance. METHOD Data were collected from 18 trainees and 41 radiologists. The participants completed a radiology edition of the established cue utilization assessment tool EXPERTise 2.0, which provides a measure of cue utilization based on performance on a number of domain-specific tasks. The participants also completed a separate image interpretation task as an independent measure of diagnostic performance. RESULTS Consistent with previous research, a k-means cluster analysis using the data from EXPERTise 2.0 delineated two groups, the pattern of centroids of which reflected higher and lower cue utilization. Controlling for years of experience, participants with higher cue utilization were more accurate on the image interpretation task compared to participants who demonstrated relatively lower cue utilization (p = .
