Most individuals with disabilities because of thyroid cancer don't work. The study results make available spectrum of disorders of main functions of organism, their degree and types and intensity of limitations in vital activity of individuals with repeated disability because of thyroid cancer. The organized database of characteristics of repeated disability because of thyroid cancer in adult population can be used in implementation of personalized approach to medical social rehabilitation of increasing number of disabled individuals with malignant damage of the most important organ of endocrine system. The diseases of peripheral nervous system (PNS diseases) are diagnosed in 48%-72% of workers in various branches of economy. They made up more than half of all occupational diseases and are the main cause of labor ability and of high level of disability able-bodied population. The purpose of the study is to assess social economic importance of disability because of PNS diseases of able-bodied population in the Republic of Bashkortostan. It is established that in 2014-2018 about 107 individuals of able-bodied age for the first time became disabled because of PNS diseases. The average annual level of individuals of able-bodied age with for the first time established disabilities because of PNS diseases made up to 0.1 cases per 10 thousand of population. Among the disabled 69.0 ± 5.4% are males. The disability rate in males (0.142o/ooo) is twice higher than in females (0.063o/ooo). The average age of the disabled is 48.7 ± 5.7 years. In the structure of disability dominate lumbosacral radiculopathy (50.9%), polyneuropathy of upper (15.3%) and lower (13.5%) extremities. In average, the disability develops in 11.3 years prior to age of 60 years and on 3.8-5.5 years earlier than in case of other diseases. The disability because of PNS diseases shortens healthy life expectancy by 16.0% in males and by 17.8% in females. Annual economic losses come to more than 26 million rubles of non-produced production. The disability because of PNS consists significant social economic problem of society and requires increased attention to prevention, early diagnostics, treatment, improvement of quality of medical social expertise, rehabilitation and habilitation. The article presents results of analysis of changes of official requirements to health of male youths with diseases of circulatory organs (Regulation of military medical expertise, revision of 1995, 2003, 2013). The sections I and II of the Articles 42-48 of the Schedule of diseases of this Regulation are considered from the point of view of category of physical fitness for military service on conscription. The complex of measures is proposed to level consequences of mitigation of requirements to health status of future servicemen for particular nosology. The study was carried out to assess the state of cardiologic care and to determine current vectors of its development in the region with low population density. The health care system of the Kostroma Oblast was determined as research base. The information and methodological foundation of the study was compiled according results of special studies of patients aged from 8 to 80 years (n=1,400). The combination of research methods was implemented. The main vectors of the modern development of the cardiology service are identified regional automated monitoring of quality of cardiologic care with operational analysis of its potential by 25 conjugated factors; implementation of continuous quality management technology according proposed algorithm; implementation of the decision-making scheme with allocation of 10 alternatives of achieving effectiveness of medical care according 4 criteria (standard performance, clinical result achievement, patient satisfaction, resources saving);, implementation of personalized approach to patient management.Lately, in case of a number of life-threatening and chronic progressive rare (orphan) diseases, resulting in decreasing of life expectancy of citizens or their disability, the powers to support patients with medications were transferred from regional to federal level. Among these diseases are hemolytic uremic syndrome, mucopolysaccharidose type I, II, VI, juvenile arthritis with systemic onset, unspecified aplastic anemia, hereditary deficiency of factors II (fibrinogen), VII (labile), X (Stuart-Prauer). The article considers data concerning hemolytic uremic syndrome, mucopolysaccharidosis type I, II, VI, juvenile arthritis with systemic onset - the diseases for which medication support provision was transferred to Federal level in the first place and for which at the time of preparation of the article there were sufficient data to analyze. The National Russian pharmaceutical market is exposed to strong impact of external environment therefore its transformation is inevitable. Yet, development of market is strategically important for Russia that requires permanent monitoring and timely development of normative documents and target programs focused on supporting of population social guarantees. The global digitization of all industries, including pharmaceutical revealed urgent necessity in shifting accents to area of internet-marketing and internet-trade while elaborating rules of realization of sales of medications. The economical and political actualities of further advancing of concept of import substitution, development of mechanisms of state support of all agents of pharmaceutic market and also strategy of pricing considering transition of trade process to digital rails. The traumatism, including children traumatism, is one of priority problem of health care in the Russian Federation. The indices of children traumatism and disability because of injuries are the most important indices of children health. They characterize quality of child care in family, depend on common norms of public behavior, reflect cases of aggression and violence in relationship of adults and children and in children communities. The available comparative data permitted to analyze impact of the pandemic on structure and level of children traumatism as exemplified by the Kursk Oblast. The article presents current trends in reproductive demographic process economically developed countries. Today, the total fertility rate in all European countries is below the minimum required to ensure population reproduction in long term - 2.1 children per woman during her life. According statistic data, 4.167 million children were born in the EU in 2019 that corresponds to 9.3 births per 1000 of population. In the EU, 1.53 children went to one woman in 2019 (in 2018 - 1.54). The lowest total fertility rates in 2019 were registered in Malta (1.14), Spain (1.23) and Italy (1.27). In the United States, fall of rate of childless women with higher education disputes well-established observation of positive relationship between education and childlessness. The infertility affects approximately 8-12% of couples worldwide, at that in developed countries, up to 15% of all couples are infertile. In connection with the problem of birth rate reduction in developed countries, researchers highlight such problems as increasing of average age of mothers at delivery (30-35 years and older) and intervals between labors, development of subsidiary reproductive technologies, pregnancy outcomes, newborns health in short and long perspective. The global COVID-19 pandemic resulted in resources deficiency, complexities with medical services support related to reproductive health, risks for maternal and perinatal outcomes in pregnant women with COVID-19. However, actually still there is no complete picture of pandemic impact on global indices of reproductive demographic process. This study evaluated the clinical performance of implant supported, extra-orally cemented, monolithic zirconia crowns after a follow-up to 18 months. Thirty-one patients with 50 posterior dental implants were consecutively selected for this study. A total of 50 crowns were cemented onto titanium abutments extra-orally and then screwed to the implants with the required torque intra-orally. The patients were followed at 12 months and 18 months after placement of restorations. During the follow-up period, all restorations were evaluated according to following technical parameters implant failure, crown fracture, screw loosening, loss of retention due to decementation, fracture of antagonist tooth or restoration. Data were analyzed using Kaplan Meier method. One implant and its corresponding crown was lost during the follow-up period, yielding a 18 months survival rate of 98%. During the study, 2 complication events were observed, including one screw loosening and one veneering porcelain chipping in an antagonist bilayered zirconia restoration. The overall success rate of the observed prosthesis was 96%. According to the results of this study, the extra-orally cemented, monolithic zirconia crowns resulted in a favorable short-term outcome for posterior implant supported restorations within this short observation time.Clinical responses of immuno-oncology therapies are highly variable among patients. Similar response variability has been observed in syngeneic mouse models. Understanding of the variability in the mouse models may shed light on patient variability. Using a murine anti-CTLA4 antibody as a case study, we developed a quantitative systems pharmacology model to capture the molecular interactions of the antibody and relevant cellular interactions that lead to tumor cell killing. Nonlinear mixed effect modeling was incorporated to capture the inter-animal variability of tumor growth profiles in response to anti-CTLA4 treatment. The results suggested that intratumoral CD8+ T cell kinetics and tumor proliferation rate were the main drivers of the variability. In addition, simulations indicated that nonresponsive mice to anti-CTLA4 treatment could be converted to responders by increasing the number of intratumoral CD8+ T cells. The model provides a mechanistic starting point for translation of CTLA4 inhibitors from syngeneic mice to the clinic.Preeclampsia (PE) is a hypertensive obstetrical complication associated with increased cardiovascular disease risk. Carotid artery functional assessments allow for identification of subclinical vascular dysfunction. This cross-sectional study measured carotid artery functional indices in healthy women with a recent pregnancy complicated by PE, versus women with a prior uncomplicated pregnancy. Women with a history of PE (N = 30) or an uncomplicated pregnancy (N = 30), were recruited between 6 months and 5 years postpartum. Left and right carotid artery ultrasound measured carotid intima media thickness, plaque burden, peak systolic velocity, end diastolic flow velocity and carotid far-wall circumferential strain (FWCS). Carotid FWCS is inversely related to vessel stiffness, where a decrease in FWCS indicates increased vessel stiffness. Right-side FWCS did not differ between women with a history of PE versus normotensive pregnancy. Left carotid artery FWCS was lower in formerly preeclamptic women after adjustment for diameter, pulse pressure, and heart rate compared to women following an uncomplicated pregnancy (3.35 ± 1.08 × 10-3 vs. 4.46 ± 1.40 × 10-3 ; p = 0.003). SNS-032 chemical structure Those with prior severe PE had the greatest decrease in FWCS adjusted to diameter, pulse pressure, and heart rate compared to healthy controls (p = 0.02). Adjusted FWCS and total serum cholesterol were independent indicators of PE history when present in a logistic regression model with confounding variables including age, body mass index, and resting blood pressure. Further investigation is needed to elucidate if FWCS can be used as a risk stratification tool for future cardiovascular disease following a pregnancy complicated by PE. A history of PE is associated with decreased left FWCS (increased left carotid artery stiffness).
