Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has become one of the biggest challenges to global health and economy. The present study aimed to explore the factors related to preventive health behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic in Khuzestan Province, South of Iran, using the Health Belief Model (HBM).

The present cross-sectional study was conducted in the period between July 2020 and September 2020. A total of 1090 people from Khuzestan province participated in the study. The data collection method included a multistage cluster sampling method with a random selection of provincial of health centers. The questionnaire collected socio-demographic information and HBM constructs (e.g., perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits and barriers, cues to action, and COVID-19 preventive behaviors). Data were analyzed using ANOVA, t-test, hierarchical multiple linear regression, and SPSS version 22.

The mean age of the participants was 35.53 ± 11.53, more than half of them were female (61.6%) antion on the basis of HBM might be considered as a framework for the correction of beliefs and adherence to COVID-19 behavior. Health information campaigns need to (1) emphasize the benefits of preventive behaviors including avoiding the likelihood of getting a chronic disease and complications of the disease, (2) highlight the tips and advice to overcome the barriers (3) provide cues to action by means of showing various reminders in social media (4) focusing on adoption of COVID-19-related preventive behaviors, especially among men.
To assess the validity and reliability of the set of scales (general professional activity, health services management, and working conditions) on the different areas of job satisfaction in Peruvian physicians based on the data from the National Survey of Satisfaction of Users in Health (ENSUSALUD).

We carried out a psychometric study based on the secondary data analysis of Questionnaire 2 of ENSUSALUD-2016. Participants were selected from a two-stage stratified national probability representative sampling by political region. Validity was assessed by exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, and measurement invariance analysis. We assessed the reliability using internal consistency coefficients (alpha and omega). The set of scales were composed of items related to three different areas of job satisfaction 1) satisfaction with general professional activity, 2) satisfaction with the health services management, and 3) satisfaction with the working conditions of the health center.

We included 2137 partoup comparison. The study achieved stability in the scores as they showed adequate internal consistency coefficients. Based on our findings, these instruments are suitable for measuring job satisfaction among outpatient physicians throughout Peru, as our data is representative of the country level.
The set of scales has a solid factorial structure and measurement invariance, making it possible for group comparison. The study achieved stability in the scores as they showed adequate internal consistency coefficients. Based on our findings, these instruments are suitable for measuring job satisfaction among outpatient physicians throughout Peru, as our data is representative of the country level.Purified laccases from bacterial species isolated from marine sediment were applied to degrade Bisphenol A (BPA). The Bacterial species were isolated from marine water sediments sampled from Cove Rock and Bonza Bay beach of the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa was tested for laccase activity on varied phenolic plates. The two most promising strains, Enterobacter asburiae ES1 and Enterobacter sp. Kamsi was subjected to extracellular laccase production and were identified using molecular methods. Both extracted bacterial laccases showed an affinity for ABTS and PFC substrates and were purified to homogeneity by ammonium sulfate precipitation, anion exchange, and size exclusion chromatography. A specific laccase activity of 231.67 and 218.15 U/mg of protein and a molecular weight of 50 and 55 kDa was obtained from the purified ES1 and Kamsi laccases. Laccase activity was optimum at pH8 and 5 and at 80 °C and 60 °C for ES1 and Kamsi laccases, and they manifested 71.7% and 65.8% BPA decolorizing effects. The optimized treatment condition applied showed maximum BPA removal effects of 85% and 86% at pH7 and 6, while 78% and 79% was degraded at 70 °C and 80 °C while at 250 µL enzyme volume, BPA was actively degraded to 85%, and 75% removal effect showed by ES1 and Kamsi laccases. The molecular identification of the pure colonies using 16S rRNA showed the isolate belonged to the class of gammaproteobacterial. Their nucleotide sequence has been deposited in NCBI with the accession number MN686602 and MN686603. Conclusively, marine habitat serves as a reservoir for active bacterial laccase producers suitable for bioprocess application.Flexible emotion regulation (ER) in response to contextual changes is important for well-being. However, little is known about predictors of ER dynamics or their consequences. We investigated these questions in 113 romantic couples by priming self-, partner-, or relationship-focus in one partner prior to a 10-min conflict discussion. Afterwards, participants reported their ER using a video-recall task, and independent coders rated participants' affective behaviours. Couples focused on their relationship were more likely to switch between ER strategies, as expected. Switching predicted increased positive affect (PA), and this effect was stronger for couples in the self-focus condition than those in the partner-focus condition. Results suggest that focusing on a wider range of contextual information leads to more dynamic regulation. Further, regulating dynamically may generally be beneficial, especially if one does not neglect the self. This study examined the efficacy of CVLT-3 response bias (i.e., parametric and nonparametric response bias) indices in differentiating between a clinical sample with traumatic brain injury and a litigating sample with poor performance validity.Participants included 106 individuals, divided into two groups clinical group with TBI (n = 56) and a litigating group who demonstrated inadequate performance validity (n = 50), as measured by failure on at least two performance validity tests. Archival CVLT-II data was rescored utilizing the CVLT-3 scoring and normative data. Receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was used to evaluate the diagnostic discriminability of the two response bias indices. Both parametric and nonparametric bias indices showed acceptable levels of diagnostic discrimination AUC = .791 for parametric response bias and AUC = .753 for nonparametric response bias.Parametric response bias' discrimination was statistically superior to the nonparametric responses bias' discrimination. The CVLT-3 response bias score demonstrated good sensitivity and specificity when differentiating between individuals in a clinical sample with TBI and individuals in litigation who demonstrated inadequate performance validity. The purpose of this study was to assess the role of urinary IgG, serum CX3CL1 and miRNA 152-3p levels as predictors of nephropathy in type 2 Egyptian diabetic patients. Sixty type 2 diabetic patients and twenty healthy controls were enrolled in a cross-sectional study. Then they were grouped into three groups based upon urine albumin excretion (UAE). The expression of miRNA 152-3p in serum was measured using quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RTq-PCR). Serum CX3CL1 and urinary IgG concentrations were measured by ELISA. RTq-PCR revealed that serum miRNA-152-3p levels in patients were significantly higher than in controls. There was significant differences between group with normoalbuminuria and groups with diabetic nephropathy DN as regard to age, duration of nephropathy, Albumin/Creatinine ratio (A/C ratio), creatinine, urine IgG, CX3CL1 and HbA1c. In diabetic patients, there was a significant positive correlation between miRNA-152-3p levels and disease duration only as well as significant positive correlations between urinary IgG levels and age, disease duration, serum creatinine, A/C ratio, and urea. Positive correlation between serum fractalkine CX3CL1 level and age, duration of disease, urea, creatinine, A/C ratio, HbA1C and IgG in patient with DN. Serum CX3CL1 level, urinary IgG were significantly increased with the progress of nephropathy so these integrated biomarkers could be used as good predictors for early identification of nephropathy. But miRNA- 152-3p has inadequate prognostic indicator for ESRD progression.Mitochondrial remodeling is dysregulated in metabolic diseases but the underlying mechanism is not fully understood. We report here that BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor) provokes mitochondrial fission and clearance in skeletal muscle via the PRKAA/AMPK-PINK1-PRKN/Parkin and PRKAA-DNM1L/DRP1-MFF pathways. Depleting Bdnf expression in myotubes reduced fatty acid-induced mitofission and mitophagy, which was associated with mitochondrial elongation and impaired lipid handling. AZD9291 Muscle-specific bdnf knockout (MBKO) mice displayed defective mitofission and mitophagy, and accumulation of dysfunctional mitochondria in the muscle when they were fed with a high-fat diet (HFD). These animals also have exacerbated body weight gain, increased intramyocellular lipid deposition, reduced energy expenditure, poor metabolic flexibility, and more insulin resistance. In contrast, consuming a BDNF mimetic (7,8-dihydroxyflavone) increased mitochondrial content, and enhanced mitofission and mitophagy in the skeletal muscles.51 like kinase 1.
COVID-19 has caused significant disruption. This has been particularly evident within the university student population where their traditional ways of learning were abruptly reorganised and support structures removed.

This paper aims to explore undergraduate student nurses' perceptions of the support required from the university during COVID-19 using the Achievement Goal Theory framework.

Data were collected via an online survey of undergraduate student nurses from an Australian university. This paper is reporting the data from a single open-ended item asking participants about their support needs from the University. Data were analysed using thematic analysis.

Of the 178 students who responded 206 individual statements were provided about the support they would like from the university. Four primary themes emerged, Support beyond academia, Academic support, Online learning readiness and Clinical practice units and clinical placement. The students identified that their needs during this pandemic include financial needs, social isolation, needs for more communication and unpreparedness for online teaching.

Several factors were identified by participants about the additional support required from the university during COVID-19. Understanding and addressing these factors has the potential to improve student support during COVID-19 and support students in future crises.

Understanding what support students perceive they require from the university during significant disruption will assist in future crisis management planning.
