TIPS BUAT KALIAN YANG PENGEN HUNTING VINYL
1. Udah tau mau cari apa. Or at least punya artist kesukaan yang bisa jadi referensi pas hunting.
2. Check dulu track list-nya (biasanya ada di belakang cover album). You gotta at least know 50% of the songs on the album. Kalo cuma tau 1-2 lagu doang, ya nggak worth it.
3. Be like your mom a.k.a. pinter nego. Biasanya sellernya suka ngasih harga pertama yang tinggi tapi pasti bisa diturunin.
4. Don't look/sound desperate to have one vinyl. Those sellers, they can smell desperation..
5. Be nice to the sellers. Even be friends with them. Kalo minta tolong cariin vinyl, jangan belagak kayang boss.. ya sok bantu-bantuin cari juga. Trus kalo nego jangan emosian - kalo emang harganya udah mentok banget, don't push your luck dan langsung deal aja. P.S. Create a network with the sellers (ex. minta no. HP atau nitip satu vinyl).
6. Always check the vinyl inside before buying!!! Check kemulusan vinylnya, ada goresan atau nggak. Yang paling penting adalah check nama artist/albumnya - JANGAN SAMPE BEDA DENGAN COVERNYA
7. Bawa hand sanitizer atau tissue basah. Srsly.. Karena pas lagi browsing/nyari-nyari vinyl, pasti banyak covernya yang berdebu atau udah lama nggak dibersihin. Hygiene is important!
8. Jangan keliatan kayak orang mampu/kaya. Kadang sellernya bisa nggak mau nego karena ngeliat penampilan kita, trus biasanya langsung ngasih fixed price yang tinggi. So berpenampilan yang biasa aja ya.. P.S. Jangan bawa orang tua kalian hunting bareng. Karena sellernya bakal ngira kalo kalian bawa bank berjalan. Udah deh.. Bye-bye, cheap vinyls!
