Bladder cancer is a kind of tumors with a high recurrence rate. The improvement of the cure rate and prognosis of bladder tumor depends on the accurate recognition of bladder tumor under the cystoscope.

To verify that deep learning technology can identify bladder cancer images.

In this study, 1200 cystoscopic cancer images from 224 patients with bladder cancer and 1150 cystoscopic images from 221 patients with no bladder cancer were collected. Three convolutional neural networks (LeNet, AlexNet and GoogLeNet), and the EasyDL deep learning platform were used to train deep learning models to distinguish images of bladder cancer. The diagnostic efficiency of deep learning model and urology experts was compared.

The efficiency of EasyDL was the highest, and the accuracy was 96.9%. The efficiency of GoogLeNet was the second highest, and the accuracy was 92.54%. Among the 33 bladder cancer nodes and 11 no bladder cancer nodes, the accuracy of the neural network was 83.36% and that of medical experts was 84.09% (p > 0.05).

This study used convolutional neural networks to recognize bladder tumor in the clinical. Although these three networks (LeNet, AlexNet and GoogLeNet) had a relatively basic network architecture, they achieved good results in the classification task of cystoscopic images. The deep learning system had a recognition efficiency no less than that of experienced clinical experts.

The aim of this prospective, questionnaire-based study was to survey students' use of drawing in various aspects of veterinary anatomy learning (self-study, examinations, preparation for, and reflection on cadaver dissection). The quantitative data showed that first-year students with artistic preferences used drawing significantly more often in most aspects of anatomy learning than students with no such preferences, apart from the reported use of drawing in examinations and for reflection after cadaver dissection. The lack of significant correlations of the reported use of drawing in examinations with any other study variable provided support for the author's observation that student-generated drawings are not as commonly used in examinations as previously. In contrast to the study hypothesis, previous university studies did not correlate significantly with any aspect of the use of drawing in anatomy learning. None of the reported uses of drawing addressed the benefits of drawing in learning the comparative anatomy of animal species, a characteristic distinguishing veterinary anatomy from human anatomy. Qualitative student feedback indicated that encouragement and teacher-produced images would increase the use of drawing as a learning approach even if the implementation of drawing into the curriculum is not feasible. Conclusions from this study were implemented through self-directed learning in anatomy courses that replaced the canceled cadaveric dissections during the COVID-19 outbreak and also through the ongoing drawing workshops to further advance the use of drawing in veterinary anatomy learning.An inorganic p-type CuInS2 semiconductor was combined with the semiconducting polymer of PNDI3OT-Se1 and PNDI3OT-Se2 with different HOMO/LUMO levels for photoelectrochemical hydrogen production. Charge transfer behaviors at polymer/CuInS2 junctions were investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The heterojunction of p-CuInS2 and n-type polymer (both PNDI3OT-Se1 and Se2) successfully made p-n junctions and showed improved charge transfer. However, we found that higher HOMO levels of polymer than valence band maximum (VBM) of CuInS2 spurred charge recombination at interfaces. The conformational stabilities of this array were analyzed by DFT calculation, and suggested that a pyridine-acetylene-aniline oligomer tends to form a helical structure. An oligomer of this array was synthesized, and its association for octyl β-D-glucopyranoside was confirmed by 1 H NMR measurements. Loneliness as a whole has been characterized as a health-related risk factor and is associated with worse outcomes after cardiac procedures. Evidence suggests that chronic pain patients are particularly vulnerable to feeling lonely. We examined the relationship between different aspects of loneliness and one-year postoperative outcomes after spinal cord stimulation (SCS) for chronic pain.

We contacted 69 patients with thoracic SCS who had participated in our prospective outcomes database with one-year follow-up to complete the validated, abbreviated UCLA Loneliness Scale (UCLA-3). We examined responses on question 9 of the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), question 12 of the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), and UCLA-3 due to their relevance to different aspects of loneliness. We conducted regression analyses to determine the relationship between aspects of loneliness and pain outcomes.

We identified that loss of interest in people, companionship, and feeling excluded were associated with pain outcomes. Loss of interest in people was associated with improvement in pain (NRS worst p = 0.021, r = 0.32, NRS least p = 0.004, r = 0.4; NRS right now p = 0.016, r = 0.33). Companionship and feeling excluded were also associated with pain. We examined the interface between depression and total loneliness and found that while both were related to each other, depression was not associated with pain outcomes.

The results showed that the linear range were 1.95-1000 nM for raloxifene-6-glucuronide, and raloxifene-4'-glucuronide, 0.195-100 nM for raloxifene-6-sulfate, and 0.195-200 nM for raloxifene, respectively. The lower limit of quantification was 1.95, 1.95, 0.195, and 0.195 nM for raloxifene-6-glucuronide, raloxifene-4'-glucuronide, raloxifene-6-sulfate, and raloxifene, respectively. Only 20 µl of plasma sample was required since the method is sensitive.
