Malnutrition and physical disability are urgent issues in super-aging societies and the 2 phenomena are closely linked in older adults. Both conditions have common underlying causes, including physiological changes due to aging and burdens imposed by disease or injury. Accordingly, a concept of the malnutrition-disability cycle was generated and a comprehensive literature search was performed. There was insufficient evidence to prove an interrelationship between malnutrition and physical disabilities, because of the study design and poor quality, among other factors. However, some evidence exists for the interaction between low body mass index and swallowing disorders, and the effects of some malnutrition and disability components. This review provides the rationale for this interaction, the concept of a malnutrition-disability cycle is proposed, and the available evidence is critically appraise.
To compare the accuracy of monitoring personal protective equipment (PPE) donning and doffing process between an artificial intelligent (AI) machine collaborated with remote human buddy support system and an onsite buddy, and to determine the degree of AI autonomy at the current development stage.

We conducted a pilot simulation study with 30 procedural scenarios (15 donning and 15 doffing, performed by one individual) incorporating random errors in 55 steps. In total, 195 steps were assessed.

The human-AI machine system and the onsite buddy assessed the procedures independently. The human-AI machine system performed the assessment via a tablet device, which was positioned to allow full-body visualization of the donning and doffing person.

The overall accuracy of PPE monitoring using the human-AI machine system was 100% and the overall accuracy of the onsite buddy was 99%. There was a very good agreement between the 2 methods (κ coefficient, 0.97). The current version of the AI technology was able to ng the donning and doffing procedures.This study aims to characterize the cytomorphology and ultrastructure of blood cells of native cattle of Mizoram. Twelve numbers of blood samples (10 ml) were collected from the Zobawng cattle, irrespective of sex. Blood smears were prepared and stained with different stains for cytomorphological study. The standard protocol has been followed for preparing blood samples for electron microscopy. Under a light microscope, erythrocytes of cattle were non-nucleated and round. The neutrophils were round, and the cytoplasm contained cytoplasmic granules. The eosinophils were rounded in outline with distinct cytoplasmic granules. The presence of basophils was infrequent with distinct blue color cytoplasmic granules. Small, medium, and large types of lymphocytes were recorded. The monocytes were round to oval in outline. Platelets were irregular to round. The reticulocytes were recorded occasionally, like small blue thin rods or granules. The cytoplasm and nucleus of granulocytes fluoresced greenish-yellow and red, rtrastructural features of the blood cells of native cattle (Zobawng) of Mizoram state of India. The cytomorphological studies revealed that the morphological features of the blood cells of Zobawng cattle resembled to other domestic and wild animals, however, there were some differences in the cellular components. Nuclear DNA appeared orthochromatically greenish-yellow, but cytoplasmic RNA was observed to be metachromatically red under the fluorescence microscope. scanning electron microscopic (SEM) and transmission electron microscopic (TEM) results revealed that the ultrastructural features of the blood cells of Zobawng cattle contain certain cellular morphological differences as compared to the other domestic and wild animals.
This paper provides a brief overview of the history of occupational therapy in psychiatry in Ireland and explores why the contribution of an early Irish psychiatrist and proponent of occupational therapy, Dr Eamon O'Sullivan (1897-1966), was not fully recognised in the decades after his retirement in 1962.

A review of selected key reports, papers and publications related to the history of occupational therapy was undertaken.

Eamon O'Sullivan was appointed Resident Medical Superintendent at Killarney Mental Hospital Co. Kerry in 1933 and developed an occupational therapy department at the hospital from the 1930s until his retirement in 1962. He wrote one of the first textbooks of occupational therapy published in 1955. His occupational therapy philosophy reflects the early decades after the formalisation of the profession in 1917 when beliefs about the curative properties of occupation flourished and professional education programmes were scarce. By the time O'Sullivan's textbook was published it received a lukewarm reception within occupational therapy as it did not reflect 1950s practice and professional philosophy. The professionalisation of occupational therapy in Ireland in the 1960s was also a factor in the lack of acknowledgement of O'Sullivan's contribution to the profession.

The proposed method is significant because of the many analytical issues faced during the development studies. Based on the experimental results, we finally achieved the stability-indicating power of the method. The adequately prepared mobile phase was in the ratio of pH 2.0 buffer and acetonitrile (8020) v/v, and the buffer pH 2.0 was prepared as follows 8.7 ml of perchloric acid, 2 ml of triethylamine and 3.0 g sodium hydroxide into 1 L of water mixed well. The system suitability parameters were achieved using a Waters X-Bridge C18 (4.6 × 150 mm, 3.5 μm) column and mobile phase. The optimized chromatographic conditions included a column temperature of 45°C, a flow rate of 1.0 ml min-1 ; an injection volume of 5 μl, UV 247 nm, and 15 min runtime. The method was validated and transferred to quality control as per International Conference on Harmonization Q2(R1) and the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2020 edition . The recovery and linearity results were obtained between 99.0 and 101.0%; the value of r2 was 0.9998. The method robustness study was established by utilizing the Design of Experiments part of the Quality by Design concept. The method's stability-indicating nature was proved by a forced degradation study; all of the conditions for analyte peak purity were passed, and mass balance was achieved. The method was used to determine mirabegron assay, as well as content uniformity, blend uniformity and cleaning samples. Chronic inflammation, characterized by prolonged elevated inflammation markers, is linked to several chronic conditions. Diet can influence the levels of inflammation markers in the body.

The aim of this systematic review was to assess the effects of anti-inflammatory diets on 14 different inflammation markers in adults.

This systematic review conducted searches using Medline, PubMed, EMCare, Cochrane, and CINAHL, to locate randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

Two researchers independently screened 1537 RCTs that measured changes in inflammation markers after prescription of an intervention diet.

In total, 20 RCTs were included and assessed qualitatively. The results demonstrated that a Mediterranean diet can bring about statistically significant and clinically meaningful between-group differences in interleukins -1α, -1β, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8, -10, and -18, interferon γ, tumor necrosis factor α, C-reactive protein, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, as compared with a control diet.

In the present research, we developed a pharmacokinetics-pharmacodynamics model to describe the concentration-effect course of drug action following the intraperitoneal injection of HSC in colitis rats. A sensitive UPLC-MS/MS method was established for the the determination of HSC in rat plasma to explore the pharmacokinetics properties. The separation was performed on an Accucore C18 column (2.1 × 100 mm, 2.6 μm) with a flow phase consisting of acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid water. The assay method was validated and demonstrated good adaptability for application in the pharmacokinetics study. Then the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) in colon tissues were measured using an ELISA assay. The levels of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 were decreased after HSC administration, suggesting that HSC can significantly improve the level of inflammatory syndrome factor.
