The name of the series suggests that the GE Profile series is targeted at people who want to integrate cutting-edge features in their kitchens. This refrigerator is packed with them, from an in-the-door Keurig K-cup coffee maker to a sophisticated water dispenser. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. This refrigerator is costly, so I expected better.

Aside from that blip however, this refrigerator is a fantastic choice. It features a large freezer compartment that is not common for counter-depth French door fridges. It also holds a lot of frozen food items compared to other models.

The fridge is equipped with 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment is 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is on what you would expect from the size of a French door fridge costing this much. It also has a decent-sized icemaker that is tucked away in the left door, but it's not the largest I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments to create a the perfect storage solution. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is good-looking, too. The LED lighting is a nice addition and the storage bins feature an additional shelf that can fold down to allow you to store tall items. The drawers come with temperature controls so you can set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to open and close however I found the plastic's textured coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes the complete set of features you'd expect from a fridge in this price range that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from any place around the world. It also has a lot of customization options. It will also send you notifications when the door is unlocked and when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter requires a change.

It would be nice it GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill, an option that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allows users to select the number of cups they would like to dispense. It also has a countdown feature on the display of the fridge to display how much water have remaining, but that's not as helpful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to look like a seamless piece in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that keeps fruits and vegetables fresher for longer, and two compressors to preserve food. The ice maker we tested was one of the most efficient and produces an ice pyramid with only a little water. This refrigerator is a great option for a single family or kitchenettes looking for an integrated look and top-of-the-line food preservation.

The fridge was rated the best refrigerator in our Refrigerators Test for various reasons. The freezer temperatures remained steady at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit and never moving more than a fraction an inch. This is essential to avoiding freezing burn. The refrigerator section of the refrigerator also did well. It reached the initial temperature within a matter of hours, and remained at that temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is a household name known for its top-quality appliances. It's therefore no surprise that the Bosch counter depth fridge can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. The app allows you to control and monitor the refrigerator remotely using your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive however, it offers excellent features and functions at a fair price.

One of the great aspects of this refrigerator is that the ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it easy to move the ice to the refrigerator for use when needed. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, as well, such as sliding drawers that can help you better organize the position of your items. It has a large bin to store frozen food items, and a separate bin for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can manage the temperature, lighting and more of your fridge from your smartphone. It's an easy way to keep track of your fridge and manage it, particularly when you're not at home.

However, while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily add to the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact, it took longer to defrost and chill food in this fridge than other refrigerators we test. This is likely due to the larger capacity.

The other issue we have with this refrigerator is its doors. They have sunken handles on the front, which allow shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, however they're difficult for taller people to steer shut without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had handles mounted on the front.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good option for those looking to combine the advantages of a French-door fridge's aesthetics with a more efficient layout. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good choice if you want a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a simple fridge that might not be as eye-catching like some of its competitors however, it does have enough features to make a good option. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated above the two crisper bins, is a excellent feature. This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to a smart thermometer for more precise measurements of your fridge's internal temperature.
