In the inferior olive, the gap junction associated protein zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1) was found to be co-localized with Cx36-puncta on AISs, indicating that these puncta have some of the molecular constituents of gap junctions. Our results add to the neuronal subcellular locations at which Cx36 is deployed, and raise possibilities for its involvement in novel functions in the AIS compartment. Many physiological and behavioral changes take place during pregnancy to ensure the growth and development of a healthy fetus. This study investigates the effects of high maternal salt intake during pregnancy on lipid parameters in Wistar rats. Twenty female Wistar albino rats (200-250 g) were used for the study. The rats were time-mated and day 1 of pregnancy was determined by the presence of spermatozoa after a vaginal lavage. Animals were then randomly divided into two groups a standard control diet and high-salt diet (8% NaCl) of 10 rats each. On the 19th day, the animals were fasted overnight and sacrificed under anaesthesia. Blood samples were collected via cardiac puncture for determination of lipid parameters triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-c), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-c), and very low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (VLDL-c) using enzymatic colorimetric method. Atherogenic indices, triglyceride/HDL-C (TG/HDL-C) and total cholesterol/HDL-C (TC/HDL-C) ratios were calculated. SPSS 21.0 package was used for data analysis and level of significance was analyzed using student t-test. Significance was set at P0.05) change was observed in HDL-C level in high salt fed pregnant rats when compared with control. High salt intake during pregnancy has detrimental effect on maternal lipid profile which can threaten both maternal and the fetal life.Continuous silicon carbide fiber-reinforced silicon carbide ceramic matrix composites (SiCf/SiC) are promising as thermal structural materials. In this work, the microstructure and static mechanical properties of 3D-SiCf/SiC with PyC, SiC, and PyC/SiC and without an interface prepared via polymer infiltration and pyrolysis (PIP) were investigated systematically in this paper. The results show that the microstructure and static mechanical properties of SiCf/SiC with an interphase layer were superior to the composites without an interlayer, and the interface debondings are existing in the composite without an interphase, resulting in a weak interface bonding. When the interphase is introduced, the interfacial shear strength is improved, the crack can be deflected, and the fracture energy can be absorbed. Meanwhile, the shear strength of the composites with PyC and PyC/SiC interfaces was 118 MPa and 124 MPa, respectively, and showing little difference in bending properties. This indicates that the sublayer SiC of the PyC/SiC multilayer interface limits the binding state and the plastic deformation of PyC interphase, and it is helpful to improve the mechanical properties of SiCf/SiC.With the popularization of digital technology and the exposure of traditional technology's defects, computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) has been widely used in the field of dentistry. And the accuracy of the scanning system determines the ultimate accuracy of the prosthesis, which is a very important part of CAD/CAM, so we decided to evaluate the accuracy of the intraoral and extraoral scanners. In this study, we selected the sphere model as the scanning object and obtained the final result through data analysis and 3D fitting. In terms of trueness and precision, the scanner of SHINING was significantly different from that of others; however, there was no significant difference between TRIOS and CEREC. SHINING showed the lowest level of accuracy, with CEREC slightly lower than TRIOS. The sphere model has also been proven to be scanned successfully.Counterproductive work behavior (CWB) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) are two seemingly opposite types of active and volitional behaviors. However, previous research on the mutual relationships between these two types of behavior has yielded inconclusive results. Such relationships are of particular interest in countries such as Poland, which is still in the process of economic and social transformation from a communist to a capitalist system. Therefore, the current study sought to re-examine the relationships between OCB and CWB in a large sample of Polish employees. One thousand and fifty-one employees were recruited from small, medium, and large Polish enterprises to take part in the study, and they completed questionnaire measures of CWB and OCB. The results showed that the overall frequencies of CWB and OCB were statistically significantly correlated. However, while some dimensions of OCB were found to be significantly negatively correlated with certain categories of CWB, one dimension of OCB was significantly positively correlated with CWB. Cluster analysis allowed for distinguishing of four subgroups of participants with different profiles of CWB and OCB, including a subgroup that exhibited equal levels of OCB and CWB and a subgroup that exhibited high levels of CWB cooccurring with increased frequencies of some dimensions of OCB. These results demonstrate that, overall, CWB and OCB are relatively independent and unrelated constructs; however, their particular dimensions may show a more complex pattern of relationships.Synchronizing movements with an external periodic stimulus, such as tapping your foot along with a metronome, is a remarkable human skill called sensorimotor synchronization. A growing body of literature investigates this process, but experiments require collecting responses with high temporal reliability, which often requires specialized hardware. The current article presents and validates TeensyTap, an inexpensive, highly functional framework with excellent timing performance. The framework uses widely available, low-cost hardware and consists of custom-written open-source software and communication protocols. TeensyTap allows running complete experiments through a graphical user interface and can simultaneously present a pacing signal (metronome), measure movements using a force-sensitive resistor, and deliver auditory feedback, with optional experimenter-specified artificial feedback delays. Movement data is communicated to a computer and saved for offline analysis in a format that allows it to be easily imported into spreadsheet programs. The present work also reports a validation experiment showing that timing performance of TeensyTap is highly accurate, ranking it among the gold standard tools available in the field. Metronome pacing signals are presented with millisecond accuracy, feedback sounds are delivered on average 2 ms following the subjects' taps, and the timing log files produced by the device are unbiased and accurate to within a few milliseconds. The framework allows for a range of experimental questions to be addressed and, since it is open source and transparent, researchers with some technical expertise can easily adapt and extend it to accommodate a host of possible future experiments that have yet to be imagined. The paper aims to present the concept of power aggregation operators for the T-spherical fuzzy sets (T-SFSs). T-SFS is a powerful concept, with four membership functions denoting membership, abstinence, non-membership and refusal degree, to deal with the uncertain information as compared to other existing fuzzy sets. On the other hand, the relationship between the different pairs of the attributes are well recorded in terms of power operators. Thus, keeping these advantages of T-SFSs and power operator, the objective of this work is to define several weighted averaging and geometric power aggregation operators. The stated operators named as T-spherical fuzzy weighted, ordered weighted, hybrid averaging and geometric operators for the collection of the T-SFSs. The various properties and the special cases of them are also derived. SB216763 Further, the consequences of proposed new power aggregation operators are studied in view of some constraints. Finally, a multiple attribute decision making algorithm, based on the proposed operators, is established to solve the problems with uncertain information and illustrate with numerical examples. A comparative study, superiority analysis and discussion of the proposed approach are furnished to confirm the approach.COVID-19 is a disease caused by a severe respiratory syndrome coronavirus. It was identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. It has resulted in an ongoing pandemic that caused infected cases including many deaths. Coronavirus is primarily spread between people during close contact. Motivating to this notion, this research proposes an artificial intelligence system for social distancing classification of persons using thermal images. By exploiting YOLOv2 (you look at once) approach, a novel deep learning detection technique is developed for detecting and tracking people in indoor and outdoor scenarios. An algorithm is also implemented for measuring and classifying the distance between persons and to automatically check if social distancing rules are respected or not. Hence, this work aims at minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 virus by evaluating if and how persons comply with social distancing rules. The proposed approach is applied to images acquired through thermal cameras, to establish a complete AI system for people tracking, social distancing classification, and body temperature monitoring. The training phase is done with two datasets captured from different thermal cameras. link2 Ground Truth Labeler app is used for labeling the persons in the images. The proposed technique has been deployed in a low-cost embedded system (Jetson Nano) which is composed of a fixed camera. link3 The proposed approach is implemented in a distributed surveillance video system to visualize people from several cameras in one centralized monitoring system. The achieved results show that the proposed method is suitable to set up a surveillance system in smart cities for people detection, social distancing classification, and body temperature analysis.Rationale A co-delivery system that can transport chemotherapeutic drugs and nucleotide drugs to distinct targets in tumors is an attractive strategy for cancer therapy. In this study, well-defined targeted quantum dot (QD)-based multifunctional nanocarriers were developed through self-assembly driven by host-guest interactions. 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) and microRNA-34a mimics (miR-34a(m)) were co-administered to achieve synergistic effects for colorectal cancer (CRC) therapy for the first time. Furthermore, the CRC patient-derived tumor xenograft (PDX) model, which closely mimics human CRC tumor pathological properties, was used for evaluating the therapeutic effect in this research. Methods Multiple β-cyclodextrin (CD)-attached QD nanoparticles were used as host molecules. An adamantane (ADA)-modified TCP1 peptide-targeting ligand (TCP1) was used as the guest molecule. 5-FU and miR-34a(m) were loaded into TCP1-CD-QD nanocarriers, which were used to treat CRC in vitro and in vivo. In addition, the CRC PDX model was used to evaluate the treatment efficacy of this co-delivery system.
