Pullorum by normalizing the abnormal intestinal microbiome.Echinostomes (Trematoda Echinostomatidae) are food-borne zoonotic flatworms that affect birds, animals and humans, and has been classified as neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) by the World Health Organization (WHO), which cause severe enteritis in poultry and hamper production. Here, we confirmed the species of echinostomes affecting chickens in Bangladesh along with their genetic analyses, pathology and vectors. We isolated and identified adult worms from chickens, cercariae from fresh water snails and metacerariae (MC) from some wild fishes. We recovered Echinostoma revolutum (10.3%) and Hypoderaeum conoideum (6.0%) from chickens. Zoonotic E. revolutum was confirmed by amplifying nad1 gene and subsequent sequencing. Several mutations were detected in nad1 gene and our isolates belonged to the Euro-Asian clade. We observed thickening of mucosal layer, hyperplasia of goblet cells, infiltration of eosinophils, lymphocytes and must cells in the infected intestine. About 5.3% snails were infected and the highest percentage of infection was found in Lymnaea luteola (12.1%). Echinostome infection in snails was the highest in November (9.6%) and lowest in February (3.1%) in Bangladesh. MC of echinostomes were identified from blue panchax (Aplocheilus panchax) and tank goby (Glossogobius giuris). In conclusion, echinostomiasis is a notable big problem in indigenous chickens in Bangladesh and people, especially, villagers are at risk.

Herein, we summarized retreatment casesfor poor ear morphology in patients who had undergone auricular reconstruction in our department for 5 years and discussed other techniques.

Between September 2014 and September 2019, 24 ears of 24 patients with poor morphology, unsatisfactory macroscopic characteristics and anatomical structures, and unsatisfactory outcomes of local repair after auricular reconstructive surgery were treated. Patients were divided into the following three groups type 1 (9 ears), with intact and sufficient hairless skin in the mastoid region behind the reconstructed ear; type 2 (7 ears), with intact, but insufficient, hairless skin in the mastoid region behind the reconstructed ear; and type 3 (8 ears), with hairless skin in the mastoid region behind the reconstructed ear with impaired skin integrity.

Twenty-two (91.6%) patients successfully completed the surgical treatment and recovered well; one experienced delayed wound healing and another developed hypertrophic scarring at the incision site at 3 months postoperatively. All patients were followed for 0.5-4 (mean, 2.8) years. The macrostructure of the reconstructed ear post-revision was stable and significantly improved in terms of morphology and structure.

Many reports have investigated the roles of the action of H2O2 across many cell lines and disease models. The genes predisposing tumor cell lines to H2O2-mediated demise are less deciphered, however. To this end, we performed in-house transcriptional profiling of 35 cell lines and simultaneously investigated each cell line's H2O2 inhibitory concentration (IC25) based on metabolic activity. More than 100-fold differences were observed between the most resistant and sensitive cell lines.
