 This cross-sectional observational study comprised 523 health science students. A well-structured online questionnaire consisting of closed-ended questions based on student's general information, Patient Heath Questionnaire (PHQ)-9 and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)-7 scales were used to assess the psychological impact of COVID-19.

 SPSS-25 was used to analyze the outcome of this study. Multiple linear regression analysis test was used to assess variables which had impact on PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores among the participants. A

 Among the 523 participants, 365 (69.55%) students were from developing countries and 158 (30.21%) from developed countries; 424 (81.1%) students were tested negative for COVID-19 and 99 (18.9%) had suffered from severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection during pandemic. The mean GAD-7 and PHQ-9 scores were 7.16 ± 5.755 and 7.30 ± 6.166, respectively. Significant impact on anxiety levels was associated with age, gender, education status, and COVID-19 positive patient, while depression was not significantly associated with gender, COVID-19, and its reported symptoms in participants.

 The study aimed to determine the effect of carbonate apatite (CHA) hydrogel-aPRF on osteoblastogenesis during relapse in rabbits.

The present study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of kinematically aligned TKAs using single-radius (SR) or multi-radius (MR) prostheses. Sixty modified kinematically aligned cruciate-retaining TKAs (30 SR and 30 MR type prostheses) were performed in patients with varus-type osteoarthritis using a navigation system. Intraoperative and postoperative patellar tracking were compared between the two groups. Trochlea shape was also compared between the prostheses and preoperative native anatomy using three-dimensional simulation software. Total 2 years postoperatively, the range of motion and 2011 Knee Society Scores (KSS) were compared between the two groups. There were no differences in patellar maltracking including patellar lateral shift and tilt between the two groups; however, the ratio of intraoperative lateral retinacular release for adjusting patellar tracking was significantly higher in the MR group than in the SR group. Lateral and medial facet heights in both prostheses were understuffed compared with native knee anatomy, while the deepest point of the trochlear groove was significantly more medial in the MR group. The postoperative clinical outcomes showed no significant differences between the two groups. In conclusion, modified kinematically aligned TKAs using a SR or MR prosthesis showed no significant differences in clinical outcomes or patellar tracking when appropriate lateral retinacular release was performed.
Medication dose adjustment is crucial for patients with renal dysfunction (RD). The assessment of renal function is generally mandatory; however, the renal function may change during the hospital stay and the manual assessment is sometimes challenging.

We developed the clinical decision support system (CDSS) that provided a recommended dose based on automated calculated renal function.

We conducted a prospective cohort study in a single teaching hospital in Japan. All hospitalized patients were included except for obstetrics/gynecology and pediatric wards between September 2013 and February 2015. The CDSS was implemented on December 2013. Renal and hepatic dysfunction (HD) were defined as changes in the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and alanine aminotransferase or alkaline phosphatase levels based on these measurements during hospital stay. These measurements were obtained before (phase I), after (phase II), and 1 year after (phase III) the CDSS implementation.
