We have developed a new analytical method for simultaneous determination of Metronidazole and Furazolidone by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The method is coupled to double salting-out assisted liquid-liquid extraction (SALLE) which facilitates the detection and quantification of Metronidazole and Furazolidone in different dosage forms by subsequent HPLC analysis. Extraction parameters such as solvent, pH and salt concentration are optimized and liquid liquid extraction showed efficiency up to 102% and 100% for Metronidazole and Furazolidone respectively in chloroform, at pH 3 and low salt concentration (0.5g KCl and 0.5 gNaNO0.994 and 0.9936 respectively. LOD was 2.1μg/ml, 1.5μg/ml and LOQ was 21.1μg/ml, 15.2μg/ml for metronidazole benzoate and furazolidone. Precision of the method is 1.84% (RSD) and 1.72% (RSD) for Metronidazole and Furazolidine respectively. Moreover, accuracy is measured in terms of percent recovery which is more than 100% for both analytes under optimized conditions. Finally, robustness is evaluated by changing the flow rate and detection wavelength which is also obtained within permissible limit. This indicates that the proposed method is simple, efficient and shows excellent recoveries for simultaneous determination of Metronidazole and Furazolidone in different dosage forms and Industrial effluents.Topical candidiasis is a known skin fungal infection which is usually treated by conventional dosage forms such as cream, gel, emulgel which are having numerous adverse effects on skin. To overcome such disadvantages, different novel drug delivery systems have been considered. Polymer based nano-particulate systems have shown good skin penetration after topical application. Therefore, in the present study the main focus was on the pathology, pathogenesis, and consequently topical treatment of candidiasis. Nanogel containing miconazole have been prepared from the natural polymers i.e. gelatin and chitosan. The nanogel of miconazole (100 mg) nitrate was formulated by modified emulsification-diffusion technique and characterized for different parameters. From all the seven nanogel formulations named as F1 to F7, F1 (Gelatin and Chitosan in the percentage of 82.85 and 17.15 respectively) have been selected as model formulations. The reason behind that was as per ICH stability guideline, the formulations F1 was found optimum and stable. Miconazole nanogel formulations F1 also showed the maximum release i.e. 78 % approximately. XRD showed the formulated nanogel was in crystalline shape. In summary, the miconazole nanogel drug delivery systems have two main advantages i.e. they are topical preparation as well as nano sized. It can be postulated that nanogel may be a best approach to treat the fungal skin diseases.This study was designed to investigate the wound healing effects of a Traditional Chinese Medicine (Longxuejie) combined with dragon's blood capsule. selleck compound A total of 80 patients with ulcerative bedsore observed in our hospital department of Geriatrics were selected from May 2016 to May 2017. A total of 120 patients who were treated in our hospital for pulp revascularization after trauma in young permanent teeth were enrolled as research objects in the study. The patients were treated with calcium hydroxide and chlorhexidine and the overall treatment efficiency was statistically observed. The improvement in various indicators before and after treatment was observed, including pain symptom score, gum swelling symptom score, tooth looseness score. The overall treatment efficiency was recorded. The results showed that there were 70 cases of significant effective treatment, 42 cases of effective treatment, and 8 cases of ineffective treatment, respectively, with overall treatment efficiency of 93.33%. Compared with the pain score, gum swelling score and teeth looseness score before treatment, these indicators showed a significant improvement after treatment, p less then 0.05. The application of calcium hydroxide and chlorhexidine during pulp revascularization after trauma in young permanent teeth can significantly improve the therapeutic effect and achieve higher therapeutic efficiency, demonstrating huge application value.The aim of this study is to observe and analyze the clinical efficacy of simvastatin combined with exercise training in the treatment of stationary chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with metabolic syndrome. In this study, 180 patients who had been treated for stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) complicated with metabolic syndrome in our hospital were enrolled as research objects. The selected patients were randomly divided into research group receiving simvastatin combined with exercise training and control group accepting routine therapy, each containing 90 cases. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. The CAT score, insulin resistance index and 6 min walking distance of the two groups were compared. The results showed that compared with the control group, the improvement effect of the research group was more obvious, and the effect was better than that of the control group, p less then 0.05. The levels of IL-6 (interleukin-6), IL-8 (interleukin-8) and other inflammatory factors were significantly lower in the research group than those in the control group, p less then 0.05. A total of 120 patients who confirmed with lumbar disc herniation in our hospital from January 2016 to December 2018 were enrolled as research objects in this study. On the other hand, another 120 patients who were treated for lumbar disc herniation in our hospital during the same period were classified in the control group. General routine treatment mode was adopted for the control group, while Yaotongning capsule was given to the study group on the basis of general routine treatment. The therapeutic effect was observed and compared between the two groups. The overall treatment efficiency, VAS score, serum cytokine levels and quality of life were compared between the two groups. The results showed the study group exhibited significant improvement compared with control group, p less then 0.05. The application of Yaotongning capsule can achieve markedly good results in treatment of lumbar disc herniation, which is worthy of popularization and application.To observe and analyze the effect of dexmedetomidine on analgesia and sedation of sufentanil during anesthesia induction period of gynecological surgery. A total of 160 patients demanding gynecologic surgery were enrolled in the study and randomly divided into study group and control group, each containing 80 patients. The control group was treated with sufentanil and normal saline, while the study group was treated with sufentanil and dexmedetomidine. Then, the therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared. NTI of the two groups was observed at A2, which was significantly lower in the study group than that in the control group. Moreover, NTI value of the two groups was significantly lower at A2 and A4 than at A1. When the NTI value was reduced to a minimum, the application time was significantly shorter in the study group than that in the control group. PTO and PPT of the two groups were higher at A4 than those at A1. At A1 and A4, The difference between PTO and PPT was significantly higher in the study group than that in the control group, p less then 0.05. The rate of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the study group than that in the control group, p less then 0.05. Dexmedetomidine has good effect on analgesia and sedation of sufentanil during anesthesia induction period of gynecological surgery, which should be popularized in clinical application.Puerarin is an important active ingredient of Radix puerariae. Puerarin is an isoflavone compound Z clinical and basic research proves that S. puerarin can increase cerebral circulation blood flow; increase cerebral perfusion; reduce blood viscosity and improve microcirculation. The present research was conducted to observe the clinical efficacy of puerarin combined with naloxone in the treatment of traumatic cerebral infarction (TCI). Methods 52 patients with TCI were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group was treated with puerarin and naloxone and the control group was treated with conventional therapy. Results The total effective rate was 82% in the treatment group, which was better than 61% in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (p less then 0.05). The efficacy of simple TCI in both groups was significantly better than that of TCI with brain contusion; the effect of intracranial hemorrhage and the effect of TCI alone in the two groups; the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (p less then 0.05). Conclusion The combination of puerarin and naloxone in the treatment of TCI can improve the curative effect.As a α1-adrenergic receptor antagonist, nicergoline can induce vasodilation and increase arterial blood flow. Its clinical application can effectively prevent and treat cognitive impairment and reduce cognitive decline and comprehensively improve patients' daily living ability and social function. The clinical efficacy of nicergoline combined with oxiracetam in the treatment of vascular cognitive impairment after stroke was analyzed. 120 patients with cognitive impairment after stroke were randomly divided into nicergoline group and Experience group. They were treated with nicergoline and nicergoline combined with oxiracetam respectively. Both groups were treated for one month. Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA) was used to evaluate the cognitive function of the two groups before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacy was compared. The results showed that the average score of MoCA in the combined group was (5.97±2.06), higher than that in the nicergoline group (3.53±1.44). The change of MoCA score was the most significant. There was significant difference between the nicergoline group and the combined group (t=4.21, P less then 0.01). The combined group had the highest effective rate and the total effective rate was 93.3%. Conclusion Nicergoline and oxiracetam are effective drugs in the treatment of vascular cognitive impairment (VCI). The combined use of nicergoline and oxiracetam is better than that of nicergoline alone. The combined use of nicergoline and oxiracetam can significantly improve the severity of symptoms and quality of life in patients with vascular cognitive impairment after stroke. The clinical effect is definite.
