The objective of this meta-analysis was to summarize and identify the available evidence from studies to estimate the clinical value of acupoint sticking combined with massage (ASM) in the treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD), and provide clinicians with evidence on which to base their clinical decision making.

This review will include all studies comparing clinical efficacy of ASM in the treatment of FD. The search strategy will be performed in 10 databases. We will not establish any limitations to language and publication status, published from inception to the August 2020. Two reviewers will screen, select studies, extract data, and assess quality independently. Outcome is alleviation of global dyspeptic symptoms, alleviation of individual dyspeptic symptoms, quality-of-life improvement, and safety. The methodological quality including the risk of bias of the included studies will be evaluated. We will carry out statistical analysis using RevMan 5.3 software.

This study will summarize current evidence to assess the efficacy and safety of ASM in the treatment of FD.

The findings of this study will provide helpful evidence for the clinician, and will promote further studies, as well as studying the value of ASM.

To explore the effect of modular transitional nursing intervention on the improvement of self-management of the patients with cancer pain.

This study will be conducted from March 2021 to May 2022 at Affiliated Hospital of Beihua University. The experiment was granted through the Research Ethics Committee of Affiliated Hospital of Beihua University (4348-019). Eighty patients are analyzed in our study. The patients will be included if they are between 18 and 70 years old and are diagnosed with cancer, the pain intensity score on moderate level, the pain lasts for more than 3 days, and the patients who have signed the written informed consent. While the patients will be excluded if they have a documented history of drug or alcohol abuse, and patients with limited performance, and patients have a surgery in the past 3 days. The primary result mainly expresses as intergroup differences in self-management disorders (Barriers Questionnaire-II) associated with the cancer pain. And the secondary results include the quality of life (QOL) and pain intensity. All the analyses are implemented with SPSS for Windows Version 20.0.

Table 1 will show the clinical outcomes between the 2 groups.

Schaaf-Yang syndrome (SYS) is a recently identified disorder caused by a loss-of-function mutation in a maternally imprinted gene, MAGEL2, at 15q11.2q13. Due to its extreme rarity and wide range of clinical severity, clinical suspicion is difficult for a physician. Selleck Zotatifin In the current study, its frequency among the Korean pediatric patients with developmental delay (DD) or intellectual disability (ID) was assessed. As the first report of Korean patients with SYS, our study aims to increase the awareness of this condition among the physicians taking care of the pediatric patients with DD/ID and hypotonia.The patients diagnosed with SYS by whole-exome sequencing (WES) among the 460 Korean pediatric patients with DD/ID were included, and their clinical and molecular features were reviewed.Four patients (0.9%) were diagnosed with SYS. Profound DD (4 patients), multiple anomalies including joint contractures and facial dysmorphism (4 patients), generalized hypotonia (3 patients), and severe respiratory difficulty reqep apnea (2 patients), autistic features (2 patients), a high grade of gastroesophageal reflux (1 patient), and seizures (1 patient) were found as well. A total of 3 different truncating MAGEL2 mutations were identified. A previously-reported mutation, to be the most common one, c.1996dupC, was found in 2 patients. The other 2 mutations, c.2217delC and c.3449_3450delTT were novel mutations. As MAGEL2 is maternally imprinted, 2 patients had inherited the MAGEL2 mutation from their respective healthy fathers.SYS is an extremely rare cause of DD/ID. However, hypotonia, joint contractures, profound DD/ID and facial dysmorphism are the suggestive clinical features for SYS. As a maternally imprinted disorder, it should be reminded that SYS may be inherited in form of a mutation from a healthy father.
Some evidences suggest the involvement of the central nervous system in patients infected with SARS-CoV-2. We aim to analyze possible associations between coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), in a comprehensive neurological center.We conducted a retrospective case series of 4 patients infected by COVID-19, who developed spontaneous SAH. Clinical data were extracted from electronic medical records.Between March 24, 2020, and May 22, 2020, 4 cases (3 females; 1 male) of SAH were identified in patients infected with SARS-CoV-2, in a comprehensive neurological center in Brazil. The median age was 55.25 years (range 36 -71). COVID-19-related pneumonia was severe in 3 out of 4 cases, and all patients required critical care support during hospitalization. The patients developed Fisher grade III and IV SAH. Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) was performed in 3 of the 4 patients. However, in only 1 case, an aneurysm was identified. Inflammatory blood tests wetood. Therefore, SHA should be included in severe neurological manifestations in patients infected by this virus.
Herbal medicines are empirically used to treat cervicogenic dizziness. However, till date there have been no systematic review to evaluate the efficacy and safety of these medicines. Therefore, this study protocol describes the methods for evaluating the efficacy and safety of herbal medicine for cervicogenic dizziness.

The following electronic academic databases will be searched up to December 2019 without language or publication status restrictions Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), Excerpta Medica database (EMBASE), and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), together with Korean, Chinese, and Japanese databases. Any randomized controlled trials related to herbal medicine for cervicogenic dizziness will be included. The functional outcomes and the vertebrobasilar artery hemodynamic states will be evaluated as primary outcomes. The total effective rate, hematological conditions, and adverse events will be assessed as secondary outcomes. Study selection, data extraction, quality assessment of studies, and qualitative evaluation of clinical evidence will be performed by 2 independent reviewers.
