Biological pathways that were abnormally up- and downregulated were identified through gene set variation analysis in the subtypes. Abnormal downregulation of the fatty acid metabolism pathway occurred in all three renal cell carcinoma subtypes. Alteration of the fatty acid metabolism pathway was vital in the development of pan-renal cell carcinoma. Bioinformatics methods were used to obtain a panoramic view of copy number variation, single-nucleotide variation, mRNA expression, and the survival landscape of fatty acid metabolism pathway-related genes in pan-renal cell carcinoma. Most importantly, we used genes related to the fatty acid metabolism pathway to establish a prognostic-related risk model in the three subtypes of renal cell carcinoma. As a consequence, several measures have been taken to mitigate the virus spread worldwide. In the city of Florianópolis, in southern Brazil, a strict lockdown was implemented on 16 March 2020. Although commercial activities were allowed to resume 21 April, a complete lockdown of municipal public buildings (e.g., administrative buildings and schools) lasted up to 5 August 2020. Reports in the literature emphasize the influence of occupant presence and actions on energy use in buildings. Therefore, the objective of this study was to assess the impact of the COVID-19 lockdown on the electric energy use of municipal buildings in Florianópolis. A large database with monthly electric energy use data was provided by the City Hall and analyzed. Firstly, the consumer units were grouped into three categories systems, services and buildings. This revealed that buildings were directly affected by the lockdown measures, but systems and services were not. Therefore, an in-depth evaluation of health centers, administrative buildings, elementary schools and nursery schools was conducted and mean electric energy reductions of 11.1 %, 38.6 %, 50.3 %, and 50.4 %, respectively, were observed. Although it may initially seem unexpected, municipal health centers had a small electric energy use reduction, because they were not directly responsible for COVID-19 treatment, as patients were forwarded to specific facilities. Walkthroughs and energy audits were performed in an administrative building, an elementary school, and a nursery school, to gain a deeper understanding of the consumption trends. It was observed that municipal buildings present a basal energy use intensity even when the buildings are unoccupied. Energy audits verified that stand-by loads and vital loads, such as lighting for safety and computer servers, play a key role in this share of energy use.

He felt hypoesthesia below the injured level and dysfunctional motor and sensory of both lower extremities. We put pedicle screw at the C7, Th1, Th2 and Th 3. Then we put rods and nuts. After that, we did decompression by laminectomy of the C7 and Th1 and we put vacuumed drain for the wound.

As an important part of public services, rail transit requires effective response countermeasures to control the spread of COVID-19. Considering the current development of the epidemic situation, this article discusses the characteristics of COVID-19 transmission and identifies vulnerable areas to target in order to prevent and control the spread of the epidemic in the rail transit system. Countermeasures adopted to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are analyzed in terms of external and internal categories, which were classified into six groups passenger service, case care, information, staff, equipment and operation management. An evaluation architecture was also constructed, which was established from the perspective of effectiveness, economic efficiency, acceptability, privacy and so on. The effect of implementing the measures was evaluated by a social survey, and their advantages and shortcomings were analyzed, which can be used to guide future epidemic prevention and control for rail transit systems around the world. It is important to formulate a reasonable work schedule according to local conditions, providing a reference for rapid response to future public health emergencies of international concern.
The prevalence of large-scale natural and biological disasters has increased in recent years and can have detrimental impacts on health. Some populations are more susceptible to these impacts, including medically vulnerable populations. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the association between medically vulnerable populations and perceived emergency preparedness status.

This study used 2010 and 2012 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System data (
 = 33,852). Participants were classified into four exposure groups related to medical vulnerability for each of three chronic diseases. The outcome was based on responses to a question that asked how prepared the individual's household was to handle a large-scale disaster or emergency. Logistic regression was used to assess the medical vulnerability-preparedness association.

In adjusted analyses, individuals who were considered medically vulnerable had approximately 40% decreased odds of feeling prepared (OR range 0.61-0.64) compared to individuals without chronic diseases and disabilities.
