Trauma is one of the most common causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Since the definition of preventable death has been described many studies like current one were conducted to evaluate this issue.

This cohort retrospective study investigated archived medical files of trauma victims from 2017 to 2020 in a referral single-center trauma hospital. Registered demographic data, vital signs, Glasgow coma scale (GCS), timing of trauma and death, executed interventions, type and mechanism of trauma in addition to time errors, clinical mismanagements, and missed injuries were extracted. Injury severity score, revised trauma score, and probability of survival based on TRISS method for each case were calculated. Eventually preventable and non-preventable death were defined and compared.

Finally from the all 413 trauma deaths 246(54.9%) files were enrolled. Dead persons were from 18 to 95 years. Of all 189(76.8%) were males. Analysis manifested 135(54.9%) of all deaths were potentially preventable and the rest 49.1% was non-preventable for expiration(p=0.001). Data showed that from all variables systolic blood pressure ≥80mmHg, respiratory rate >19 per minute, GCS>8, higher RTS, road traffic accidents and control of external bleeding were contributed to prediction of preventable trauma related mortality.

We have previously demonstrated the utility of Raman spectroscopy for the characterization and discrimination of different protein aggregates, including tau, based on their unique conformational signatures. Building on this, in the present study, we assess the utility of Raman spectroscopy for characterizing and distinguishing different conformers of the same protein which in the case of tau are unique tau strains generated in vitro. We now investigate the impact of aggregation environment, cofactors, post-translational modification and primary sequence on the Raman fingerprint of tau fibrils. Using quantitative conformational fingerprinting and multivariate statistical analysis, we found that the aggregation of tau in different buffer conditions resulted in the formation of distinct fibril strains. Unique spectral markers were identified for tau fibrils generated using heparin or RNA cofactors, as well as for phosphorylated tau. We also determined that the primary sequence of the tau monomer influenced the conformational signature of the resulting tau fibril, including 2N4R, 0N3R, K18 and P301S tau variants. These results highlight the conformational polymorphism of tau fibrils, which is reflected in the wide range of associated neurological disorders. A variety of immunologic mechanisms play a vital role in the host defense mechanisms against invasive infections with P. aeruginosa. Rarely, specific inborn errors of immune function are implicated in deficiencies that predispose to invasive infections with P. aeruginosa. Innate immune function including germ-line encoded pattern recognition receptors such as toll-like receptors (TLRs) and their downstream signaling is vital in the host defense against P. aeruginosa through the generation of antimicrobial peptides, cytokines/chemokines, and shaping of adaptive immune responses. Herein, we describe a previously healthy two-year-old female with an invasive skin, soft tissue, and central nervous system infection secondary to P. aeruginosa. CT-CNN and X ray-CNN single modal models were constructed based on the LeNet-5 model. The randomized fusion algorithm was introduced to construct a fused CNN model for the diagnosis of COPD patients, and the recognition effect of the model was verified. Subsequently, the three-dimensional reconstruction of the patient's bronchus was performed using the classified CT images, and the changes of CT quantitative parameters in COPD patients were compared and analyzed. Finally, COPD patients were treated with salmeterol/fluticasone (COPD-C) and combined with clarithromycin (COPD-T).
