Scientific Comparability of three Different Dual Eyelid Surgeries-An Increased Twice Eye lid Medical Method: Minimally Invasive 3-Point Subcutaneous Tube Eye lid Medical procedures.
Rolling bearings are the vital components of large electromechanical equipment, thus it is of great significance to develop intelligent fault diagnoses for them to improve equipment operation reliability. In this paper, a fault diagnosis method based on refined composite multiscale reverse dispersion entropy (RCMRDE) and random forest is developed. Firstly, rolling bearing vibration signals are adaptively decomposed by variational mode decomposition (VMD), and then the RCMRDE values of 25 scales are calculated for original signal and each decomposed component as the initial feature set. Secondly, based on the joint mutual information maximization (JMIM) algorithm, the top 15 sensitive features are selected as a new feature set and feed into random forest model to identify bearing health status. Finally, to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the presented method, actual data acquisition and analysis are performed on the bearing fault diagnosis experimental platform. These results indicate that the presented method can precisely diagnose bearing fault types and damage degree, and the average identification accuracy rate is 97.33%. Compared with the refine composite multiscale dispersion entropy (RCMDE) and multiscale dispersion entropy (MDE), the fault diagnosis accuracy is improved by 2.67% and 8.67%, respectively. Furthermore, compared with the RCMRDE method without VMD decomposition, the fault diagnosis accuracy is improved by 3.67%. Research results prove that a better feature extraction technique is proposed, which can effectively overcome the deficiency of existing entropy and significantly enhance the ability of fault identification.Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are increasingly used in instant delivery scenarios. The combined delivery of vehicles and UAVs has many advantages compared to their respective separate delivery, which can greatly improve delivery efficiency. Although a few studies in the literature have explored the issue of vehicle-assisted UAV delivery, we did not find any studies on the scenario of an UAV serving several customers. This study aims to design a new vehicle-assisted UAV delivery solution that allows UAVs to serve multiple customers in a single take-off and takes energy consumption into account. A multi-UAV task allocation model and a vehicle path planning model were established to determine the task allocation of the UAVs as well as the path of UAVs and the vehicle, respectively. The model also considered the impact of changing the payload of the UAV on energy consumption, bringing the results closer to reality. Finally, a hybrid heuristic algorithm based on an improved K-means algorithm and ant colony optimization (ACO) was proposed to solve the problem, and the effectiveness of the scheme was proven by multi-scale experimental instances and comparative experiments. This paper presents, for the first time, an absolute linear electromagnetic encoder consisting of a rubber belt with two chains of screen-printed metallic inclusions (rectangular patches). The position, velocity, and direction of the belt (the moving part) is determined by detecting the inclusions when they cross the stator (the static part). selleck kinase inhibitor The stator is a microstrip line loaded with three complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs), resonant elements exhibiting a resonance frequency perturbed by the presence of inclusions on top of them (contactless). The line is fed by three harmonic signals tuned to the resonance frequencies of the CSRRs. Such signals are generated by a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) managed by a microcontroller. The sensed data are retrieved from the pulses contained in the envelope functions of the respective amplitude modulated (AM) signals (caused by the belt motion) generated at the output port of the line. One of the signals provides the absolute belt position, determined by one of the chains, the encoded one. The information relative to the velocity and motion direction is contained in the other AM signals generated by the motion of the other chain, periodic, and thereby, uncoded. The spatial resolution of the system, a figure of merit, is 4 mm. Special emphasis is devoted to the printing process of the belt inclusions.Efficient management through monitoring of Li-ion batteries is critical to the progress of electro-mobility and energy storage globally, since the technology can be hazardous if pushed beyond its safety boundaries. Battery management systems (BMSs) are being actively improved to reduce size, weight, and cost while increasing their capabilities. Using power line communication, wireless monitoring, or hybrid data links are one of the most advanced research directions today. In this work, we propose the use of radio frequency (RF) transceivers as a communication unit that can deliver both wired and wireless services, through their superior analog and digital signal processing capability compared to PLC technology. To validate our approach computational simulation and empirical evaluation was conducted to examine the possibility of using RF transceivers on a direct current (DC) bus for wired BMS. A key advantage of this study is that it proposes a flexible and tested system for communication across a variety of network scenarios, where wireless data links over disrupted connections may be enabled by using this technology in short-range wired modes. This investigation demonstrates that the IEEE 802.15.4-compliant transceivers with operating frequencies of 868 MHz and 2.4 GHz can establish stable data links on a DC bus via capacitive coupling at high data rates. The last decade has transformed wireless access technologies and crystallized a new direction for the internet of things (IoT). The modern low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technologies have been introduced to deliver connectivity for billions of devices while keeping the costs and consumption low, and the range of communication high. While the 5G (fifth generation mobile network) LPWAN-like radio technologies, namely NB-IoT (narrowband internet of things) and LTE-M (long-term evolution machine type communication) are emerging, the long-range wide-area network (LoRaWAN) remains extremely popular. One unique feature of this technology, which distinguishes it from the competitors, is the possibility of supporting both public and private network deployments. In this paper we focus on this aspect and deliver original results comparing the performance of the private and public LoRAWAN deployment options; these results should help understand the LoRaWAN technology and give a clear overview of the advantages and disadvantages of the private versus public approaches. Notably, we carry the comparison along the three dimensions the communication performance, the security, and the cost analysis. The presented results illustratively demonstrate the differences of the two deployment approaches, and thus can support selection of the most efficient deployment option for a target application. For haptic interaction, a user in a virtual environment needs to interact with proxies attached to a robot. The device must be at the exact location defined in the virtual environment in time. However, due to device limitations, delays are always unavoidable. One of the solutions to improve the device response is to infer human intended motion and move the robot at the earliest time possible to the desired goal. This paper presents an experimental study to improve the prediction time and reduce the robot time taken to reach the desired position. We developed motion strategies based on the hand motion and eye-gaze direction to determine the point of user interaction in a virtual environment. To assess the performance of the strategies, we conducted a subject-based experiment using an exergame for reach and grab tasks designed for upper limb rehabilitation training. The experimental results in this study revealed that eye-gaze-based prediction significantly improved the detection time by 37% and the robot time taken to reach the target by 27%. Further analysis provided more insight on the effect of the eye-gaze window and the hand threshold on the device response for the experimental task. One of the development directions of new-generation mobile communications is using multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels with a large number of antennas. This requires the development and utilization of new approaches to signal detection in MIMO channels, since the difference in the energy efficiency and the complexity between the optimal maximum likelihood algorithm and simpler linear algorithms become very large. The goal of the presented study is the development of a method for transforming a MIMO channel into a model based on a sparse matrix with a limited number of non-zero elements in a row. It was shown that the MIMO channel can be represented in the form of a Markov process. Hence, it becomes possible to use simple iterative MIMO demodulation algorithms such as message-passing algorithms (MPAs) and Turbo. This study focuses on broadening the knowledge of a fluorometric index to improve the detection of oil substances present in the marine environment. It is assumed that the value of this index will provide information about a possible oil discharge at some distance from the sensor. In this paper, the detection of oil present in seawater as a mixture of oils such as fuel, lubricate oil, or crude oil based on a fluorescence indicator-fluorometric index (FIo/w) is discussed. FIo/w was defined based on specific excitation and emission wavelengths coming from the obtained excitation-emission spectrum (EEM) of oil-free seawater and, in parallel, the same water but artificially polluted with oil. For this, measurements of a mixture of oils in seawater for an oil-to-water ratio in the range from 50 × 10-9 to 200 × 10-9 as well as oil-free seawater were performed. Laboratory measurements continued five times in months in the summer season with the coastal waters of the southern Baltic Sea (last spring, summer, and early autumn). The dependence of FIo/w on the presence of oil in seawater, the oil-in-water ratio, as well as months of the considered season has been demonstrated.A new method is proposed in this paper to detect airborne nanoparticles, detecting the light scattering caused by both the particle and the surrounding molecules, which can surpass the limitations of conventional laser optical methods while maintaining simplicity and cost-effectiveness. This method is derived from a mathematical analysis that describes the particle light scattering phenomenon more exactly by including the influence of light scattered from surrounding gas molecules. The analysis shows that it is often too much of a simplification to consider only light scattering from the detected nanoparticle, because light scattering from the surrounding gas molecules, whether visible or invisible to the sensor, is important for nanoparticle detection. An image detection approach utilizing the light scattering from surrounding air molecules is described for the detection of airborne nanoparticles. Tests using monodisperse nanoparticles confirm that airborne particles of around 50 nm in size can even be detected using a low-cost testing device. This shows further that even when using a simple image processing code, captured particle light scattering images can be converted digitally into instantaneous particle counts or concentrations. The factors limiting conventional pulse detection are further discussed. This new method utilizes a simple static light scattering (SLS) approach to enable the development of new devices with better detection capabilities, paving the way for the further development of nanoparticle detection technology.
