Understanding the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of the cultural heritage of the Yellow River Basin can effectively improve the scientific understanding of the historical changes, environmental evolution, and cultural and economic development of the Yellow River Basin and thus provide a scientific and reasonable decision-making basis for the protection and development of its cultural heritage. The research object of this paper are the national cultural relic protection units. These are examined using the GIS spatial analysis method to explore the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics and spatial structure of 2,102 national material cultural heritage sites in the Yellow River basin. The results show that the spatial distribution of cultural heritage has a significant spatial agglomeration effect. The whole basin is concentrated in stable high- and low-value areas, and the difference between the high- and low-value areas is clear. Some aspects of the spatial structure heterogeneity are strong, showing a low value dispersion distribution trend. In different periods, the distribution direction and scope of cultural heritage have low ranges of rotation, a clear direction, and a high degree of centripetal distribution. The spatial and temporal distribution of cultural heritage is the result of the combined action of natural geographical environment such as climate change, topography, river hydrology, and human environment such as administrative institutional changes, ideological evolution, and social and economic development.
Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) is a vector-borne parasitic diseases of public health importance that is prevalent in the West Bank but not in the Gaza Strip. The disease caused by parasitic protozoans from the genus Leishmania and it is transmitted by infected phlebotomine sand flies. The aim of our study is to investigate the eco-epidemiological parameters and spatiotemporal projections of CL in Palestine over a 30-years period from 1990 through 2020 and to explore future projections until 2060.

This long-term descriptive epidemiological study includes investigation of demographic characteristics of reported patients by the Palestinian Ministry of Health (PMoH). Moreover, we explored spatiotemporal distribution of CL including future projection based on climate change scenarios. The number of CL patients reported during this period was 5855 cases, and the average annual incidence rate (AAIR) was 18.5 cases/105 population. The male to female ratio was 1.251. Patients-age ranged from 2 months to 89 years (meed to implement effective control and surveillance systems to counteract spatial expansion of CL vectors.
The future projection of CL in Palestine until 2060 show a tendency of increasing incidence in the north western parts of the West Bank, disappearance from Jericho and Tubas throughout the Jordan Vally, and emergence of new CL endemic foci in the Gaza Strip. These results should be considered to implement effective control and surveillance systems to counteract spatial expansion of CL vectors.The TEOSINTE BRANCHED1/CYCLOIDEA/PROLIFERATING CELL FACTOR (TCP) transcription factors is one of the superfamilies of plant-specific transcription factors involved in plant growth, development, and biotic and abiotic stress. However, there is no report on the research of the TCP transcription factors in soybean response to Phytophthora sojae. In this study, Agrobacterium-mediated transformation was used to introduce the CRISPR/Cas9 expression vector into soybean cultivar "Williams 82" and generated targeted mutants of GmTCP19L gene, which was previously related to involve in soybean responses to P. sojae. We obtained the tcp19l mutants with 2-bp deletion at GmTCP19L coding region, and the frameshift mutations produced premature translation termination codons and truncated GmTCP19L proteins, increasing susceptibility to P. sojae in the T2-generation. These results suggest that GmTCP19L encodes a TCP transcription factor that affects plant defense in soybean. The new soybean germplasm with homozygous tcp19l mutations but the BAR and Cas9 sequences were undetectable using strip and PCR methods, respectively, suggesting directions for the breeding or genetic engineering of disease-resistant soybean plants.To characterize the functional role of the left-ventral occipito-temporal cortex (lvOT) during reading in a quantitatively explicit and testable manner, we propose the lexical categorization model (LCM). The LCM assumes that lvOT optimizes linguistic processing by allowing fast meaning access when words are familiar and filtering out orthographic strings without meaning. The LCM successfully simulates benchmark results from functional brain imaging described in the literature. In a second evaluation, we empirically demonstrate that quantitative LCM simulations predict lvOT activation better than alternative models across three functional magnetic resonance imaging studies. We found that word-likeness, assumed as input into a lexical categorization process, is represented posteriorly to lvOT, whereas a dichotomous word/non-word output of the LCM could be localized to the downstream frontal brain regions. Finally, training the process of lexical categorization resulted in more efficient reading. In sum, we propose that word recognition in the ventral visual stream involves word-likeness extraction followed by lexical categorization before one can access word meaning.
Studies have shown that women aging with HIV have significantly lower health-related quality of life (HRQoL) compared to women without HIV. However, no studies have examined this issue in Latin America and the Caribbean. We aimed to explore HRQoL measured by the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) among women aging with and without HIV in Peru.

We conducted a cross-sectional study at a large HIV-clinic in Peru. Outcomes of the SF-36 were evaluated, exploring the relationship between physical activity (International Physical Activity Questionnaire), sociodemographic factors (ethnicity, alcohol/tobacco use, age, BMI) and clinical data (AIDS progression, treatment duration, CD4+ cell count and viral load, years since HIV diagnosis) with HRQoL using regression analysis. Statistical significance was set with a two-tailed p-value <0.05.

We enrolled 427 women (175 HIV-infected) with mean age of 54±8 years. From the SF-36 individual domains physical functioning, role limitations due to physical and emoties and interventions to improve HRQoL of women aging with HIV.
In our study, HIV-infected women scored lower in both physical and mental component scores. Important determinants for each component included CD4+ cell count as an assessment of HIV severity for the mental component, and ethnicity, reflecting socio-cultural factors, for the physical component. These results reveal the importance of a holistic approach to addressing HRQoL in this population. Better understanding of these factors will help shape future policies and interventions to improve HRQoL of women aging with HIV.
Since the 1960s, several drugs have been linked to the onset or aggravation of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) dasatinib, some amphetamine-like appetite suppressants (aminorex, fenfluramine, dexfenfluramine, benfluorex) and recreational drugs (methamphetamine). Moreover, in numerous cases, the implication of other drugs with PAH have been suggested, but the precise identification of iatrogenic aetiologies of PAH is challenging given the scarcity of this disease and the potential long latency period between drug intake and PAH onset. In this context, we used the World Health Organization's pharmacovigilance database, VigiBase, to generate new hypotheses about drug associated PAH.

We used VigiBase, the largest pharmacovigilance database worldwide to generate disproportionality signals through the Bayesian neural network method. All disproportionality signals were further independently reviewed by experts in pulmonary arterial hypertension, pharmacovigilance and vascular pharmacology and their plausibiconsidering the knowledge of iatrogenic PAH, the drugs' biological and pharmacological activity and the characteristics of the reported case. Although confirmatory studies need to be performed, the signals identified may help clinicians envisage an iatrogenic aetiology when faced with a patient who develops PAH.Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) exist in at least two distinct states in mammals naïve pluripotency that represents several molecular characteristics in pre-implantation epiblast and primed pluripotency that corresponds to cells poised for differentiation in post-implantation epiblast. To identify and characterize the surface molecules that are necessary for the maintenance of naïve hPSCs, we generated a panel of murine monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) specific to the naïve state of hPSCs. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) analysis showed that HSP60 expression was rapidly downregulated during the embryoid body (EB) differentiation of primed hPSCs. HSP60 knockdown led to a decrease in the expression of pluripotency genes in primed hPSCs. HSP60 depletion also led to a decrease in the expression of pluripotency genes and representative naïve-state-specific genes in naïve hPSCs. Taken together, the results suggest that HSP60 is downregulated during differentiation of hPSCs and is required for the maintenance of pluripotency genes in both primed and naïve hPSCs, suggesting that HSP60 is a regulator of hPSC pluripotency and differentiation.When two streams of pedestrians cross at an angle, striped patterns spontaneously emerge as a result of local pedestrian interactions. This clear case of self-organized pattern formation remains to be elucidated. In counterflows, with a crossing angle of 180°, alternating lanes of traffic are commonly observed moving in opposite directions, whereas in crossing flows at an angle of 90°, diagonal stripes have been reported. Naka (1977) hypothesized that stripe orientation is perpendicular to the bisector of the crossing angle. However, studies of crossing flows at acute and obtuse angles remain underdeveloped. We tested the bisector hypothesis in experiments on small groups (18-19 participants each) crossing at seven angles (30° intervals), and analyzed the geometric properties of stripes. We present two novel computational methods for analyzing striped patterns in pedestrian data (i) an edge-cutting algorithm, which detects the dynamic formation of stripes and allows us to measure local properties of individual stripes; and (ii) a pattern-matching technique, based on the Gabor function, which allows us to estimate global properties (orientation and wavelength) of the striped pattern at a time T. We find an invariant property stripes in the two groups are parallel and perpendicular to the bisector at all crossing angles. In contrast, other properties depend on the crossing angle stripe spacing (wavelength), stripe size (number of pedestrians per stripe), and crossing time all decrease as the crossing angle increases from 30° to 180°, whereas the number of stripes increases with crossing angle. We also observe that the width of individual stripes is dynamically squeezed as the two groups cross each other. The findings thus support the bisector hypothesis at a wide range of crossing angles, although the theoretical reasons for this invariant remain unclear. The present results provide empirical constraints on theoretical studies and computational models of crossing flows.
