Using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) method, we measured plasmatic levels of IL-6, IL-1RA and resistin (within 48 h after AMI and at 6 months). Out of 41 STEMI patients, 20.5% presented signs of LVR at follow up, and in 24.4%, MACE occurred. In univariate logistic regression analysis, baseline levels of IL-6 (OR = 1.042, p = 0.004), IL-1RA (OR = 1.004, p = 0.05) and resistin (OR = 1.7, p = 0.007) were all significantly associated with LVR. ROC analysis showed that the three cytokines as a group (AUC 0.946, p = 0.000) have a better predictive value for LVR than any individual cytokine. A total of 166,071 patients on antihypertensive therapy across the databases of the seven hospitals were divided into two groups according to the use of RAAS inhibitors. The primary outcome was the occurrence of cancer. A total of 166,071 patients across the databases of the seven hospitals was included in the final analysis; 26,650 (16%) were in the RAAS inhibitors group and 139,421 (84%) in the other antihypertensive drugs group. Clinical characteristics and radiomics features were extracted by XGBoost algorithm and were used to establish radiomics and clinical models for MKI status prediction. A combined model was developed, encompassing clinical characteristics and radiomics features and presented as a radiomics nomogram. The predictive performance of the models was evaluated by AUC and decision curve analysis. The radiomics model yielded AUC of 0.982 (95% CI 0.916, 0.999) and 0.955 (95% CI 0.823, 0.997) in the training and validation sets, respectively. The clinical model yielded AUC of 0.746 and 0.670 in the training and validation sets, respectively. The combined model demonstrated AUC of 0.988 (95% CI 0.924, 1.000) and 0.951 (95% CI 0.818, 0.996) in the training and validation sets, respectively. All patients presented with severe and rapidly progressive dyspnea within a few days, a high oxygen demand. The right ventricle (RV) left ventricle ratio was >1 on chest CT, and no life-threatening pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) was observed. Echocardiographic findings indicated that all patients had moderate-to-severe RV dilatation with a D-shaped LV. The median tricuspid regurgitation maximum velocity was 3.8 m/s, and the median RV systolic pressure was 63 mmHg, indicating severe PH. The median value of tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion was 15 mm, showing a decrease in RV systolic function, and McConnell's sign was observed in five patients.
