As a practical requirement of BSC. Nursing 2nd year curriculum under practical fullfillment of community health nursing - I was posted in Kathmandu urban clinic and Sarbeshwor secondary school ward-32 Jadibuti, Kathmandu.
On Kathmandu Urban Clinic, we had to especially focused on Maternity and Health Child. I along with my friends had maintained a Immunization Schedule and counsel pre-natal and post- natal mothers. We also care different patient having General Health issues like fever, common cold, Tuberculosis (TB), etc.
At Sarbeshwor Secondary School, according to our curriculum, we provide micro-health teaching on different topics like Safety and First-aids, Disease, physical training, Reproductive health, Alcoholism, smoking, Drugs and many more.
During our community Posting, We assessed the general condition of the patient and provide care to them. We also provide micro-teaching, perform role play and Grand presentation On role play, we mainly focused on menstrual health good touch and bad touch and Hand washing technique for hand hygiene. We also present data of the Maternity and child Health(MCH) that include Immunization and Family Planning.
