The Paris – London running challenge was first born from a desire to change a life: my own. I was a communication consultant and I decided to make a fresh start on a professional, personal, physical and spiritual level...hit the road, run and find myself.
Whilst preparing for this challenge, I have been fortunate to meet with people who were going to change my life and help me through this journey.
After meeting with organisations dedicated to ill children, I have realised what they
needed and how difficult it was for them to fight against rare illnesses.
That’s when I came to the realisation that my new life had to be a part of theirs and vice versa.
The Paris – London Challenge had just found its goal :
Raise enough funds to open an office dedicated to organisations that look after ill
children and which are involved with the medical research.
That office will be made at the disposal of these organisations on a voluntary basis,
It will enable them to communicate with a broader audience, organise events and establish a network with different structures on the European arena.
1 child out of 440 develops a cancer before the age of 15...these organisations fight
every day to push the research forward.
To offer them a communication office on a full time basis will help bring an awareness of their actions and initiatives towards other companies and communicate their need to political entities; a larger awareness to a larger audience.
If I can, with this office, help them build a better world, where there is hope for these children,...... our children...then my new life would have found its purpose.
