Los atacantes buscaban obtener animales como vacas y cabras para su propio consumo o como parte de su economía. Los malones también incluían el robo de bienes personales, como utensilios de cocina, herramientas y otros objetos de valor, los cuales servían para enriquecer a los atacantes y debilitar a las comunidades europeas.
