You can create the bot by plugging it into its base and then connecting it to your home Wi Fi network. The Neato app will guide you through the initial configuration (linking the D4 to Wi-Fi and the name of it the D4 etc.). After it's fully charged you can begin a cleaning cycle.

It's also iRobot's strongest vacuum, capable of grabbing the dirtiest messes and hairy pet hair that is larger, unlike other mid-range models like the Roomba 960. This is due to the cleaner's larger counter-rotating brushes, as well as a stronger motor with more suction power.

The Roomba 995 is also iRobot's lowest-cost vacuum, with recharge and resume, however it doesn't have the auto-empty feature that the I6+ and I7 offer. It also does a great job of cleaning dirt embedded.

This robot makes use of iAdapt 2.0 navigation to keep track of its position that allows it to navigate the room efficiently and avoid getting stuck. The top-mounted camera and SLAM combine to allow it to see the floor and its objects, which allows it to easily avoid furniture legs and other obstacles. It even has an angled profile that allows it to get under couches and tables. It can also return to its dock to recharge when necessary.

Although it isn't equipped with some of the latest features, like map-saving and selective room cleaning, the 960's navigation is far superior to other robots. It also has a larger dirt bin than the 690.

The iRobot Roomba 960 is an excellent choice for most households. It's well-made, incurs lower recurring costs and has a bigger dirt compartment, and is more quickly than the eufy RoboVac 11.
