The Roomba 995 is also iRobot's lowest-cost vacuum, with recharge and resume, but it's not equipped with the auto-empty feature that the I6+ and I7 offer. It also lacks iAdapt 2.0 navigation and the camera that the I7 employs to identify objects and avoid obstacles. This means that it won't be able to save maps or access in-app containment features like no-go zones.

Another drawback is that the iRobot 995 doesn't include mopping capabilities. This isn't a problem if you're only interested in a high-quality vacuum, but it is an issue for anyone considering buying an iRobot that is a hybrid.

The Combo J7+ is another iRobot that comes with an automatic empty. It can mop and vacuum. It has the same navigation system as the I6+ or I7, however, it doesn't have iAdapt 2.0.
