7 Simple Secrets To Totally Rocking Your Robot Vacuum Mop Pet Hair
The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

A robot vacuum/mop combo is the best solution for pets who shed fur. It can vacuum, mop and clean its own dual mop pad.

It also has 8,000Pa suction which is the most of any robot we've evaluated. It also can save your home's maps and create cleaning schedules through its app.

1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest model in Ecovacs range of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model that is dry and wet is equipped with the latest AIVI 3D2.0 lidar system Ecovacs, which offers enhanced mapping and obstruction-free operation. It uses dual-laser LiDAR similar to the kind is used in self-driving cars and is able to scan up to 32 feet in 270 degrees. This results in more precise mapping, quicker response times, and better cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with a rotating mopping pad constructed of chenille fabric. This makes it easier to scrub hard spots unlike traditional mops. During my testing the X2 Omni took just over an hour to wash its pad and begin work. I also noticed that it was much more accurate than the previous models, which seemed to follow a grid route around rooms. robot vacuum mop pet hair was capable of navigating my room's by the corners and edges and also create a "Zambani pattern" up and down the middle of the room. It returned to its OMNI Station regularly to empty the dustbin and clean the mop with hot water prior to beginning another task of cleaning.

Like other Ecovacs products The X2 Omni is a breeze to set up and begin using. Snap the dock into position, plug it in and connect it to your home WiFi network. It takes only about a minute. You can then launch the app to start your first cleaning project. I was able customize my floor plan in less than 15 minutes. This included creating limited areas for sweeping and mopping and rearranging the layout of furniture that is mounted on walls and more. The X2 Omni performed impressively during my tests, scoring excellent scores for cleaning pet hair and debris cleaning, as well as close to perfect results in edge and crevice cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

The EcoVACS T10 Omni is a powerful mopping and vacuum cleaner. It is the most advanced of the T-line of the brand and comes with the latest OZMO Turbo 2.0 mopping system which uses dual-spinning brushes for superior cleaning over traditional oscillating scrubbing. It comes with YIKO, a natural language processing technology that is the first of its kind. It can respond to a variety of voice commands. You can make use of the ECOVACS app to map your home, establish cleaning schedules, and adjust settings.

The most significant issue with the T10 Omni is that it's not able to switch from mopping to vacuuming in one run. The T10 Omni has two modes that require you to attach mop heads to and from the vacuum in accordance with your needs. This is fine for most households, but not so for those with busy lives.

The Deebot T10 is a great robot vacuum that gives impressive results. It was able to vacuum up more than 96% of the particles we threw at it on our hardwood flooring, which is an outstanding performance. It did an excellent job on carpets and tiles cleaning up 99percent of dirt.

This robotic vacuum and mop has a large docking station that provides cool water cleaning for the mop pads, auto-emptying into a 3L disposable bag that's simple to replace, and hot air drying for quick and easy maintenance. It also has a large tank of water that allows it to be rinsed and dried more often between mopping sessions.

Like other mopping machines such as the Deebot T10, this one features a wash tray in its base that rinses and dry its mop pads as it utilizes them. It doesn't have a tray that can be removed, which means that dirt, dust and other grime can slowly build up at the bottom.

3. RoboVac X8 hybrid

This is the first mopping model from Anker, which is known for its robot vacuums. It is equipped with improved intelligence, multiple map support, LIDAR scanning and twin-turbine technology that automatically adjusts for the type of surface you're cleaning. It's a great mid-range robotic vacuum cleaner, even if it doesn't exactly live up to its promise to be an all-in-one solution for floor cleaning.

The X8 Hybrid appears to be an ordinary robotic cleaner from the top. It is a circular design with sweeper wheels and an elevated sensor area. Turn it upside down, however there's an electric floor brush as well as a single side sweeper that pushes dirt from the edges of the machine into the main path of the robot's'mouth'. It's smaller than the main brushes on the rival iRobot Roomba S9, which I found to be easier to fit under couches and chairs.

Its mapping system lets you define no-mop areas as well as specific cleaning zones. It has a habit of hitting things such as its charging station, and isn't great at climbing over carpets. It was great at collecting pet hair off the floor. In our tests, it picked up 89.5% kitty litter.

While it's controllable via the app it's also controllable via the app. X8 Hybrid also comes with a series of physical buttons on its base that allow you to select the cleaning mode and turn the robot off and on. You can also use them to set no-go zones and see maps in real-time. It's also a bit chatty and will let you know what it's planning to do next (start cleaning) or warn you when something isn't right.

4. ILIFE A4s

This high-tech model sucks up pet hair, kibble, and other debris with top-notch performance and is able to effortlessly maneuver around furniture legs. It comes with a set of features that is impressive, such as two cleaning modes and an automatic docking station, and real-time obstacle avoidance technology. It's Wi-Fi enabled and best controlled via the Neato app, where cleanings can be scheduled and the overall maintenance requirements are monitored. The X2 Omni is an excellent choice for large homes with hardwood carpet and floors, but it requires some advance planning to avoid getting stuck on toys, power cords or other unexpected obstacles.

In our test of hardwood floors and kibble, this robot performed well and was able to pick up everything from one grain of rice to several pieces of dog food in one pass. It had some trouble with rugs, but in general, this vacuum cleaner is perfect for large rooms that contain both types of flooring as well as a mixture of pets.

It is a bit pricey however, if you are able to handle the cost it's an excellent buy for those who want to be able to leave their homes completely free to perform other tasks or take care of chores. The A4s Pro has a convenient auto-cleaning mode that increases suction to take on tough dirt or spills. It also comes with a battery powered ElectroWall to set boundaries for the robot.

This budget-friendly model from a well-known new brand is the most affordable we've ever tested, and provides exceptional value for money. The basic navigation system employs a super-basic random pathing algorithm, but it doesn't have room mapping capabilities, which makes it less efficient than the other models on this list. It's still able get under furniture and into corners. Its mopping mode performed well in our tests by picking up hairs and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ may not be as durable however it is superior at cleaning pet hair from all surfaces. It clears bare floors more efficiently and does a decent job on low-pile carpet and also uses smart-pathing navigational technology for greater maneuverability. It also allows you to transfer it to a particular area, and its advanced suite of automation features includes no-go zones and scheduling. It also allows you to suspend and restart cleaning sessions, making it perfect for homes with pets.

The self-cleaning brushroll is able to prevent tangles with pet hair and other debris and its self-emptying docking station can hold up to 30 days worth of dirt before needing to be empty. It comes with of side brushes that are angled to reach into corners and a multi-stage filter system to capture dust, dander and allergens.

This vacuum feels solid and well-built. It has a smartphone app which lets you alter the settings of your vacuum and schedule cleaning sessions in advance. The app also allows you to view the iQ's remaining battery life and send notifications via push for any issues it encounters during its cleaning cycle. You can make use of your voice to control it using an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant device or, if you do not have either of these devices, you can mark zones with physical boundary strips.

The iQ excels in cleaning floors with no dirt, and does well on carpets that are sagging and low-pile. However, it doesn't offer the same level of autonomy as our top picks. It's also costly and its recurring cost can add up.
