Volubilis potion adalah ramuan untuk mengubah suara sang peminum, mengembalikan suara yang hilang dari efek mantra silencing charm. Harry menggunakan ramuan ini agar dapat masuk ke klub ramuan tahun 1996-1997, tujuan harry untuk menyeduh ramuan shrinking potion agar dapat membantu ginny weasley ke hogsmeade. Bahan-bahannya adalah honeywater, tangkai mint, sirup hellebore, dan mandrake yang sudah di rebus.
Cara pembuatan, pertama rebus air dalam kuali. Masukkan bahan-bahan hingga ramuan berwarna merah lalu berwarna hijau. Tambahkan honeywater agar ramuan menjadi merah muda, besarkan api hingga ramuan menjadi oranye. Tambahkan tangkai mint hingga berwarna hijau, besarkan api hingga berwarna biru. Masukkan tangkai mint lagi, pada saat ini ramuan harusnya berwarna pink-lagi. Masukkan mandrake, ramuan berubah menjadi oranye.
Tambahkan hellebore, ramuan berubah menjadi biru. Besarkan api lagi hingga berubah menjadi merah dan terakhie kuning.
