The Best Twin Buggy
This inline double is designed to expand with you and your family. It offers a variety of seating options that are suitable for twins or children of various age groups. The tires are filled with foam and will not flatten, and the soft suspension is ideal for kerbs.
It is easy to travel since it folds flatly and it satisfies the weight requirements for gate-checks at airports. It also has an enormous under-seat storage basket, and an all-weather sun canopy with four panels.
Leclerc Influencer
With its sleek design, auto-fold and cabin-approved dimensions, the Leclerc Influencer is a fantastic choice for travelers. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. This is slightly more than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it still meets airline hand luggage regulations. It can be kept in overhead lockers during flights (subject to airline approval). We found it was easy to clean with a simple wipe down and there were many extras available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy organiser bags that strap onto handles and hoods offering UV50+ protection.
It's easy to get up and down stairs and fits into tight spaces like narrow alleyways, shops and Jane's terrace home. The bumper bar also functions as a handle. It also has a large brake that is flip-flop compatible and comes with a colour-coded indicator. The basket is smaller than other models, but it will still hold a large changing bag. There are also additional tray compartments for storing snacks, drinks and toys.
It is suitable from birth. Adaptors are available separately to use it in conjunction with an Leclerc Baby Carrycot. The clever backrest can be flattened to allow for naps or long walks. The magnetic 5-point harness makes it simple to use. It's also extremely light, weighing only 6.6kg. A travel bag is included.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie has a mission to "share the joy of new parents" by creating pushchairs that are "functional and stylish, as well as innovative". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It is designed to hold two children at once, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also features stadium-style seating, which lets both children experience the world.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the lightest strollers for siblings on the market. It's suitable for babies from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to fold or lift, drive, and ride. The frame's clever design expands to accommodate a second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding is an absolute highlight. They were impressed by how quickly and easily the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did observe that it was more difficult to navigate bumps and rough surfaces in comparison to other models.
They also note that the front seat can't fully recline and they needed to utilize their hands to bring it back down which they would prefer not to be forced to do when traveling with children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a fantastic stroller that can be made even better with a few adjustments. They are impressed by the compact size when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy, offers parents the variety they require. It's compatible with a variety of car seats and features a an easy-to-fold system that folds in one click, making it easy for families who are on the move. It comes with a range of accessories, including liners and raincovers. Rival brands charge separately for these.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a favored choice for fashion-conscious parents thanks to its stylish and contemporary premium jersey fabrics. The 2022 model of the Peach has undergone a series of minor tweaks that improve the performance and function without compromising on aesthetics.
One of the most significant changes to the latest Peach is the addition of a ride-onboard which makes it an ideal choice for twins. It's also smaller than the older Peach model, but it still has all the space your children could need.
It's a perfect double stroller for parents who need something that looks stylish and offers a lot of versatility. You can use it as a single stroller from birth, and then purchase the double kit to make it into a twin stroller. It also has a huge basket and five recline positions to ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also has a single-handed fold as well as an integrated carry strap. It can be a bit bulky to store, especially because it folds in two parts instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is among the most comfortable twin buggies on the market. The seats can be fitted with footmuffs and liners to keep your children warm in cold weather. The carrycot slots onto the Orange chassis easily with gate-opening flaps on the sides and is comfortable and spacious. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 different combinations of the seats and carrycot.
The wheels are designed to withstand rough roads and terrain. It also comes with a large shopping basket, which is perfect for large supermarkets. The pushchair is lightweight and easy to drive. The rounded pedal brake makes it simple to use, but not for flip-flops. It's not easy to fold and the latch that keeps it folded requires two hands to unlock. Once it's collapsed the front wheels tuck into the basket, and the chassis can free-stand easily.
The Orange is best suited for style-conscious parents who have a baby or toddler and want a buggy that'll be able to grow with them. It's a good choice for parents who anticipate a second baby in the near future and would like a double pushchair that's adaptable. The iCandy Orange is not cheap however it's a versatile product that it's likely to last some time and also offer a decent resale value too. It also comes with a buggy board, which will help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by an Australian and a member of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger is the first pram company that focuses on two all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is slim and sleek that can fit through doors and easily maneuver around tight shopping aisles. It is among the most compact and full-featured double buggies on the market and has won numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The narrow seats are large enough for children of varying age groups to be able to sit comfortably, and the seats are independently reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopies feature solar visors that flip out and the storage basket is spacious with plenty of space. It works with almost all brands and comes with two car seat adapters for infants when you purchase car seats.
The only downside is the weight. It is heavy at 32.4 pounds, and it could be difficult to get into and out of the trunk for Grandma. It is also more expensive than most other side-by-side double buggies. It is built to last, and comes with a variety of advantages for the money. It is a good choice for urban parents who want to avoid carrying a heavy stroller around. The padding of the harnesses, the 5-point buckle, and padded straps make it safe for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish, functional design. It's a premium product, but it's not without faults.
It comes with very few features, both for parents and the kids. The only thing provided by the tiny side bin is that it can only be used only when one seat in the car is connected. There are no cup holders, parent trays or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long trips.
The seats also don't recline to a completely flat position and the gap between them is quite wide and our 5 year old experienced difficulty lying back comfortably. It's a shame given that it's a premium vehicle.
On the bright side, it's a breeze to maneuver and the swivel wheel is great at getting up the steps and slopes. It's also narrow enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds up easily for stress-free storage and transportation. It can also be changed to mono mode with only three clicks, should you require more space or want to make a quick getaway. The comfort wheeled board can also accommodate an additional child if required. It's pricey, however if you're on a budget there are other options out there. If you love the brand and are able to afford it, it's worth the cost.
