Animate to Animate adalah mantra pengubah benda hidup menjadi benda hidup lainnya. Walaupun angka kegagalan relatif kecil, bukan berarti hewan yang ditransfigurasi sudah terjamin dapat kembali seutuhnya. Jadi perlu konsentrasi penuh untuk melakukan transfigurasi ini. Salah satu mantra yang cukup aman adalah Vera Verto, mantra untuk mengubah hewan jadi piala air. Pelafalannya 'vair - uh - VAIR - toh', wand diketuk ke hewan sebanyak 3 kali lalu ucapkan mantra.
