Arapası atacak oyuncularının Creativity, Flair ve Pas, araya kaçacak forvetlerinin ise Off The Ball, Anticipation ve Acceleration özelliklerinin yeterli seviyede olması ilk şart.
Taktiksel açıdan ise orta saha oyuncularının Long Shots ve Run With Ball gibi ayarlarını düşürüp Through Balls ayarını en yükseğe getir. Daha sonra forvetlerin "Wide Play" komutunu "move into channels" olarak ayarla. Run From Deep komutu da en yüksekte olsun.
Asıl işine yarayacak şey ise kenar talimatlarıdır (touchline instructions). Maç içerisinde kenar talimatlarından "Work Ball Into Box", "Pass Into Space", "Play Through Defence" gibi komutları kullanabilirsin.
Work Ball Into Box komutu uzaktan şutları minimuma indirir. Şartları fazla zorlamadan sabırlı bir şekilde top dolaştırarak uygun fırsat geldiğinde araya atılacak bir topla rakip savunmayı açmayı amaçlayan bir komuttur. Burada "Box" olarak geçen ifade rakip ceza alanıdır. Barcelona'nın oyun sistemini tanımlayan en iyi taktiksel komuttur.
Pass Into Space komutu ise rakip savunma arkasındaki boşluklara -direkt paslarla- adam kaçırmayı hedef alır. Örneğin rakip bekler öne çıkmışsa o bölgedeki kanat oyuncunuzun koşu yoluna atılacak pas gibi... Get The Ball Forward ile beraber kullanılırsa tempo yükselir ve top ön bölgeye daha hızlı aktarılır ancak top kayıpları da artar. Bu komut daha çok rakip savunma önde kurulmuşsa yada rakip bek oyuncuları sürekli ileriye çıkıyorsa kullanılmalıdır. Kontratak taktikleri için idealdir.
Play Through Defence komutu Pass Into Space ile aynı amacı güdüyor görünse de en önemli farkı pasların yerden atılmasıdır ve daha kısa mesafede uygulanmasıdır. Bir diğer farkı ise ofansif taktiklere daha uygundur. Yani yerleşik savunmalara karşı aradan adam kaçırmayı hedef alır. Pass Into Space ise öne çıkan savunmaların arkasına adam kaçırmayı amaçlar.
Özetle senin için en uygunu baskılı oynadığın maçlarda Play Through Defence veya Work Ball Into Box olacaktır. Ortada geçen yada rakibin baskı kurduğu maçlarda ise Pass Into Space'i kullanabilirsin.
