▪ Penampakan-penampakan benda langit yang terjadi di tahun 2016
1. Planet Merkurius
Kemunculan planet merkurius di bulan Januari 201 dapat disaksikan di sore hari dan pagi hari. Di awal bulan januari planet Merkurius tampak di belahan langit barat setelah Matahari terbenam hinggs tanhal 13 Janusri 2016 dan mulai tanggal 16 Januari 2016. Hingga akhir bulan planet Merkurius tampak di belahan langit timur sebelum mataharu terbit, planet ini merupakan planet terdekat matahari sehingha kemunculan merkurius di langit sore / pagi tidak akan cukup lama untuk diamati dan tidak akan memiliki ketinggian yang cukup di atas horizon. Penampakam planet merkurius di langit pagi/senja akan tampal seperti bintang redup di ufuk barat/timur.
2. Planet Venus
Planet terpanas di tata surya sekaligus planet paling terang di langit malam ini kemunculannya di langit pagi dapat dapat disaksikan mulai awal bulan hingga akhir bulan Januari. Planet Venus memiliki penampakan di belahan langit timur saat pagi hari seperti bintang terang berwarna kuning namun tidak berkelip.
3. Planet Mars
Planet Mars merupakan planet paling terang ke empat di langit malam , planet memiliki warna merah seperti bintang Antares , kemunculan planet Mars di langit pagi dini hari dapat disaksikan selama bulan Januari 2016 lalu. Di awal bulan Januari mars akan terbit pukul 00.30 WIB dan diakhir bulan pada pukul 23.50 WIB Planet Mars akan tampak seperti bintang merah tidak berkelip di rasi bintang Libra.
