I am a traveller from Germany, in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, at the moment working in Bendigo as an Au Pair until the Beginning of August and then going to travel for 3 weeks to New Zeeland and then flying back to Germany with a Stopover in Beijing for 3 days arriving in Germany on the 30/08/16.
I booked my flights in my Sta Travel office in Germany, but at that moment I could not book my flight back to Germany in for August, so I decided to book a flight back for April and then later change it. I did that change a few weeks ago.
But unfortunately I also booked my Travel Health insurance with Sta Travel, who gave me an Insurance with the Allianz Insurance in Germany for the Time from my flight to Australia until the flight back to Germany in April I originally booked. They promised me they could extend that Insurance as soon as I change my flight back. But now the Allianz Insurance refused to them to extend the insurance for whatever reason. That happened to them the first time ever. If I would have known that that could happen and if I would have known that I actually could have booked my Insurance directly for a longer time (because it was clear that I will fly back not before August), I would definitely have done that. But I didn't know. And now this happened. Unfortunately I can't get a different Insurance in Germany, because I am already in Australia. So I had a realy long and angry talk to my travel agent about that, but she couldn't help me at all. I am still very angry with her about that. But she told me that if someone from a different country would come in Germany in her office she could give him a health insurance, so she said that should work here too. She said that would be a travel health insurance, for people who come in the country.
I already tried to get an insurance like this at flightcenter, but unfortunately they couldn't help me.
So I would like to know if it is possible to get an insurance like my travelagent from Germany told me about in Australia from you. Because I really need that. So it is really imoirtant.
And I need an answer from you until Wednesday if possible, because I need that insurance for booking my Trip to New Zeeland and some other things.
