Technology

Several improvements to Bentley's ProjectWise platform were announced, including new digital component reuse capabilities; enhanced capabilities for civil design review and advance design validation; a Drive Simulation tool to experience the drivability of designs and ensure correct sight lines and the ability to integrate multiple file formats for projects within one workspace to facilitate collaborative design reviews. Bentley also introduced the brand new Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, a suite of integrated solutions that span the entire infrastructure project lifecycles.

The new solutions include the Dam Monitoring Solution that provides the ability to access data in a single place. It also includes an ITwin Bridge Monitoring solution that utilizes drone videos, iTwin Capture and IoT sensors to provide real-time inspections of bridges. Bentley is also working to integrate its iTwin platform with the Embodied Carbon in Construction Calculator (EC3) to assist users meet sustainability requirements.
