Hello class, my name is Luke and my teammates Mohammad and Kathleen will be presenting the Dell Technologies case. Dell Technologies is an American technology company that was founded in 1984 by Michael Dell and is the third largest personal computer retailer in the world.

Beginning with the agenda for the presentation, I will be taking us through a look at an overview of the company, it's competitors, milestones and their KPI's. From there Azan and Kathleen will review Dell's supply chain strategy which has been a huge competitive advantage, their expansion into the service industry, recent mergers and acquisitions, and key takeaways from the presentation

As a refresher, vision statements outline a company's long term goals and aspirations for the future in terms of it's long term growth and impact on the world. Dell's vision statement reads "Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL) is a multinational technology company that specializes in the development and sale of computer hardware, software, and services."
One key word I like that they chose to include was "multinational". Dell has a large global presence and operates in 180 different countries. Operations include manufacturing locations, distribution and logistic centers, R&D centers, data storage and software servers.
Here on the left side are a few product offerings by Dell; Some you may recognize like Latitude or Alienware, and some you may not recognize like PowerVault.
